One of the best local places in Bandung area to see live crater up close and personal. Opens from 6am in the morning and sunrise point up above it from as early as 5am. There's parking location just before the entrance point. And also one near in the main road entrance with public transport to get you up to the main location.

There are photographers to offer you their services, if you are not keen then reject them politely, do not show your hesitation, otherwise, they will keep offer you their services. If you keen, you may negotiate with them the pricing after that.

A lot of good spots to take good photos. Recommended to use the angkot than use your own car to go to the top.

Photos don’t do justice.. it’s beyond words.
We loved the blue water.. and scenic view.
Downside: Due to sulphur concentrate you can’t enjoy view more than 30 min.. Despite this I would still say must visit

- This place is absolutely beautiful!
- It’s recommended that you take the orange bus from the ticketing station to the White Crater (Kawah Putih) because the road is narrow and pretty steep. It’s also a little bit cheaper than taking your own car there.
- It can get pretty cold because of the strong winds there, please do bring your jacket.
- I didn’t smell any bad sulfur smell from my visit there, maybe because it was a windy day.
