White Hart Inn

Stayed there from Friday 6th June for three nights, it was comfortable, the breakfast was really nice. We also had two evening meals, they were excellent, and not overpriced. The staff were very pleasant, and professional. They also do a Sunday carvery, we didn’t par take in it, but I can honestly say the car park was absolutely slammed when we arrived back at 2 o’clock. Would absolutely recommend this place.

I visited on Sunday for a carvary. I brought my wife and 2 little ones. Absolutely top notch delicious food. Normaly I'd have a case of eyes more than belly and I did in this case, but took my wife to stop me from licking the plate clean.

Went to try something new as we run a pub ourselves and don’t get out much. What a disappointment! Reserved a table for 2 and we where shoved in the smallest room in the corner stuck between two larger tables, because of the size of the room the noise from the two tables was so loud, we couldn’t even talk! We ordered two steaks, one medium rare and one medium, well they where both medium, before I’d noticed I’d already put my garlic mushroom sauce on it, tried to eat as much as I could but it was disgusting, Chewy, sauce wasn’t great and chips where soggy as anything. We both agreed it was an uncomfortable and unpleasant night out and won’t be returning. Should really think about their table plans next time and make sure they’re getting their food sent out correctly

Ok, so I understand that this establishment is under new management, the meals we had were very nice, what concerned me most was that the bar person / front of house /order taker / waitress was rushed off her feet, the place was quite busy of a lunchtime, there were queues of people wanting to sit down, people wanting to pay their bills, and probably people waiting to order meals. I hope the management read this and sort it out. Oh and ask the little lady to SMILE

Booked a table for six unfortunately due to family issues changed to two turned up on the night for a nice meal for birthday and Father’s Day to find out no reservations offered table in bar only to be told half an hour before we could order food, then told by one of staff we had a table in restaurant and then left to find our way my husband is disabled and pub was busy so we walked out only to say we won’t be visiting them again once upon a time it was a nice place to eat but not anymore

A nice old fashioned Inn just off the A40. Lots of character. The location is excellent and it is a good base to explore Pembrokeshire or mid Wales from. Stayed 3 nights. Nice people run the place. Make sure you check beforehand if the wifi is working, if that is important to you.

We were passing on route back to Carmarthen after watching balloons leave llandovery RFC grounds and decided to stop of for some breakfast. Lovely welcome and a lovely full English breakfast, endless cups of coffee 🤭 from the coffee machine in the in the Raven lounge.

Sunday carvery was reasonable price good but service made us feel rushed and desserts didn't come out together which meant one person had finished before the others had received theirs at different times instead of all together ,the service does need improving
