"Housed in a St. George’s landmark building dating back to the 1700s, this cozy, seaside pub is the latest iteration of what was initially called Ye Olde White Horse Tavern, which first opened its doors in 1930. It still has its well-worn historical charms—wooden beams, memorabilia-filled walls, and a brass-fitted bar lined with cobblestone floors—but new ownership has breathed some much-needed life into this neighborhood fave, which turns up the volume with live DJs most weekends. With illustrated pictures of boozy drinks, most of which are served in tall hurricane glasses, its colorful cocktail menu is enough to tempt you to order something fruity, tropical, or frozen.
