Funky place, nice ambient electro music playing over the sound system to drink your coffee to. I had a flat white of the Brazil beans that were in one grinder. Full body, extremely smooth. As an Australian, I can say it's a proper flat white (I've drunk some awful attempts at other places while on this European holiday). Was perhaps a little less hot than is preferable (quite a lot of temperature headroom before the milk would scald), but on this particular day when it was over 30° outside, I was actually quite happy to drink it at that temperature. Venue looks kind of small from the front, but there's a whole back section up and over past the counter

Google
Recommended coffee place. They roast their own coffee. I asked for a coffee Latte and it was great. I like the double shot as a regular offering.

Came here last year om business trip, this year here for holiday, purposely got a hotel nearby so that it'll be my morning ritual. Vibes are immaculate, staff are helpful, friendly, but not overbearing - calmly helpful to my questions. Plus, the two folk on team as I'm writing this were cleaning the bars and tables, chatting to regulars and their babies, having friendly chatter, just generally owning their space. Am looking forward to a week of relaxing morning brews. Also for those looking - they seem to allow laptops in some areas, other tables are no laptop zones. Oh, and the coffee is delicious. Natural Ethiopian on espresso, didn't ask about the filter but its exactly what I like in a batch brew; easily drinkable but still interesting.

Google
The coffee isn’t bad. But any love derived from your morning coffee is sucked out of it by the absolute doorknob of a personality that serves it to you. She has less vitality than a mouldy dishcloth and there are too many other coffee places around to waste more life in this joy sinkhole.

Google
Lovely place, really great coffee and service. The cold brew was top top! Thanks!

Google
A spacious café with a friendly barista. You can choose from a variety of coffee and accessories for brewing at home, as well as wine.

Great atmosphere, welcoming staff. Lovely place to work or to just grab a coffee. Would recommend 100%

Google
Really lovely coffee and ambiance. The best oat latte that I've had in Amsterdam to date. It is a speciality coffee, which usually leans brighter and fruitier, but it was still rich and bodied even with the oat milk. The front of the cafe has more on-the-go seating, whereas there is comfier and more intimate spots in the back. Would absolutely come back here when I'm in the area.

Yelp
A lovely coffee shop in Amsterdam west, the decor is fun with a a variety of chairs as well as cushions along a long table for people to sit at. It seems pretty popular but you can still find a place to sit at and hand out. Looks kid and pet friendly as I saw people bring both to the shop. They have a variety of drinks both espresso and teas. I really liked how they also had a no sugar fig and date bread as well. I would say the cappuccino isn't really to my taste, but that's personal preference.

Yelp
Wonderful spot to grab a coffee and get some work done. They only take card but my Visa worked fine. The iced latte that I had was delicious. Personally I thought it was small for the price but the sizing was pretty standard compared to other places I went to. The banana bread was good. I came in to do a little reading and I loved the interior. It's a lovely space to get work done or catch up with a friend. Free wifi, lots of seating, and a wonderful ambiance. There are different levels inside which make each area feel separate and more private. The baristas were nice, and make some fantastic coffee. This is the type of spot I'd go to all the time if I could, definitely recommend.

Yelp
I think this WLC has officially been added to my favorite cafes in Amsterdam. Cool, hipster space. Delicious coffee including iced options and plenty of seating with free WIFI. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
As a freelancer I always look for a place where I could work, it has to have good coffee, good Wi-Fi and motivating atmosphere. White label is perfect for that. Now I can't imagine my working week without Lotsa problem this really Amsterdamish place and a piece of banana bread. Recommended!

Yelp
When people talk about Amsterdam and coffee in the same sentence it has historically been more the coffee shops where there is more smoking than coffee drinking go on. The specialty coffee scene in Amsterdam is however really taking off and in the past couple of years a variety of new places have popped up. One of my recent discoveries is White Label Coffee in the western part of Amsterdam. I first encountered their coffee at Kokko in Helsinki and then decided to make sure to have time to visit there place in Amsterdam. They have a rather spacious café where they roast coffee, sell beans and some equipment as well as of course serve the coffee. They have a wide range of coffee for sale and upon my visit they had an impressive seven different coffees available to order as hand-brewed filters. The guys working here really know how to make their coffee, very nicely prepared. The roasting is also very good and I was impressed by filter as well as cold brew. For me they are among the top coffee places in town and for me they are currently only beaten by Scandinavian Embassy but I do believe the fact that these guys roast their own coffee is something that may in the long run make them number one. There is some simple café food on offer and nice apple pie and other pastries but I would still not say that it is the place to come for a full meal. What they have is however nice and decently priced. I like the atmosphere of the place and the people working there are very friendly so it is a nice place to hang at. It is fairly spacious and has free wifi so it is also possible to hang around for a longer period of time.

Yelp
How do you creatively use a high ceiling in a café? You build a podium with several levels and place the counter on the summit. A very cool room concept realized in the White Label Coffee. You climb up, across the stone blocks that connect the levels, past the community table and low seats on the left. When you stand in front of the counter the view reveals the levels going down behind it. Ideal for people who want to hide from pedestrian's looks. I prefered to enjoy the aromatic White Label coffee on a front seat where you can have a look at the shelf displaying the buyable coffee products. And I was lucky to get a piece of the fantastic appeltaart. The owners are beaming with delight, you can see how happy and rightly proud they are of their great new hot spot. It's certainly brave to open a coffee roasters place in De Baarsjes and not a hip neighbourhood like De Pijp. But White Label it's definitely worth the journey. Let's hope that they become trend setters and many nice places may follow.

Yelp
Excellent coffee decent if limited baked goods- apple pie was a consistent hit. The place has a hipster casual vibe

Yelp
We were in Amsterdam for one day and we were looking for the best coffee and I think we found it at white label coffee. We wanted to buy a bag of beans to take back to the US, but our bags were too full. We tried another highly rated coffee place after this one, but it wasn't as good. So I think this is THE place to go. If you're in Amsterdam and you drink speciality coffee then difinitely try this place.

Yelp
What a cool place! Great turkish granola, latte, hey it's nice have a banana too- why can't I find them for breakfast in Europe ). Exactly the kind of place I hoped to find from my isolated tourist hotel called the Ramada. Service super friendly, quality of product very high!

Yelp
This is my favorite cafe in Amsterdam, without even needing to think about it for a second. The location is a bit away for me, but it is worth going. Big variety of really good coffee. Awesome decoration, cozy seats, great wifi. The place feels like a coworking space with lots of freelancers sharing tables. They also sell coffee beans and coffee equipment. If you like a recommendation, don't hesitate to ask the really coffee-passionate baristas! Only cards (or bitcoin, but no cash)

Yelp
There is nothing quite like the right coffee bar. And, once you find the right one, nothing can touch you, correct??! White Label is the perfect combination of current, relevant, classic and welcoming. From the cheerful and phenomenally able baristas to the chill, spacious and welcoming environment, you would be forgiven if you forgot to notice how delicious a coffee you're drinking. Alternatively, there are other tasty beverages and some nice baked goods to satisfy cravings or hunger! I've yet to find anywhere that compares.

Yelp
The space is awesome. Really. Great place to sit for a cup of coffe and work on you laptop or just read. The coffee here is really really good. I also tried the banana bread which I didn't really like. So why only three stars? I bought some coffee for home here. First time I bought it I loved it. When I went back to get some more they didn't have anymore of the same kind, which is fine cause they work seasonally. But ever since I tried at least 3-4 different kind of beans, non of them was good. Great place to have coffee in. Love it. Not gonna buy anymore beans there though...

Yelp
Great coffee shop and they do a good flat white. Flat whites served in a tulip cup (5oz is my guess) which is what i do at home. They have a spirit 3grp + dual mazzer kony setup.

Yelp
The best coffee I tasted in Amsterdam so far. There's a guy just preparing the beans all the time (you can smell it actually), that you will enjoy there or buy to prepare at home. Very nice place, the design is very original. The waiter was friendly.

Yelp
Gorgeous and delightful little cafe which I had heard rumours about- so I went out of my way to stop in one Sunday afternoon. Much to my delight, SBTRK were playing in the background whilst I waited for my take-away cappuccino.. *cue hipsters dancing, without a care in the world here*. Given how fussy I am about my coffee, I didn't think it was a terrible coffee, not at all. It was just a touch more bitter than I like. But service was top notch! Everything was set up just so- it's a little hipsters paradise! Next time though, I might have to have coffee in-house and see if it's any better. Until then, I'll keep on keeping on... with my search for the perfect cup of coffee!

Yelp
Great coffee. Great atmosphere and reasonable prices. We found this shop just wandering in the neighborhood and we are so glad we did. Coffee was not bitter at all. We shared a chocolate croissant that was served warm! Delicious! If we lived here we would visit often. Very cool decor and music.

Yelp
Just a very decent coffee place with a great vibe for chilling or working. Recommend and will visit again.

Yelp
Fabulous coffee and wonderful, kind staff. They have fast WiFi and a great calming atmosphere to read or chat. 10/10, the barista who served me makes a killer latte!

Yelp
Amazing vibe in this place. Ordered a flat white and it was perfect! Amazing place to sit and relax

V L.

Yelp
The coffee is quite delicious - I recommend the oat milk latte. However, two big minuses are: 1. music is too loud and 2. seating is ill-arranged for more than one person. 1. Music is almost always blasting in the cafe so I find myself needing to sit near the front so to be able to hear what my friends are saying. Even then sometimes it is difficult. 2. Most seats are arranged side by side with little room to modify. This results in uncomfortable postures when I am with one or more people.

Yelp
I went to this cafe with a friend to do work in a nice environment. A simple mint tea cost over two euro. When I was looking for a seat, the employees were all grouped together and didn't move to let me walk to a different area. When my friend sat down with me, an employee kept coming over after she said she didn't want anything. He was extremely rude and exhibited poor customer service. I will not be coming back.

Yelp
Wow super chill place with floor cushions and sheep skin chairs and a huge record collection. Got the best espresso of my life and was given a choice between Ethiopian and Brazil beans! Also got an apple tart that was fantastic. Great service and great coffee.

Yelp
Met a friend here as it's halfway between our two places and was pleasantly surprised. They do a great coffee and the vibe is perfect for a little chill-axing and people watching. If your poison is tea instead of coffee, your second infusion costs less than your first. I'll be back.

Yelp
Very chill local coffee spot just next to Mercatorplein. Food & Coffee : The coffee is very good !! I tried their cappuccino and it was a very soft and subtle coffee. Didn't try any of the food yet I did notice they have a variety of pastries available. Decoration: The decoration is hip and industrial, with collages on the walls and references to pop culture icons. Definitely a hipster spot.

Yelp
The closest coffee place to my house and surely one of the nicest ones! Really wonderful cappuccino, delicious (and big!) slice of banana bread and cool atmosphere whether you need to work, meet up with a friend or just enjoy your coffee.)

Yelp
Joining the chorus of praise for this place. I think the thing I love most about it (other than the fact that I live next door) is that the coffee here tastes completely unique to anything else I've tried in Amsterdam (and I've been to a lot of nice roaster//cafe type places here). They truly have their own style, which is also reflected in the vibe of the place, and the fascinating cast of characters that frequents it. A lovely find in Amsterdam West!

Yelp
One of my favorite specialty coffee salons in Amsterdam. I just love how they created a spacious feel to the place by adding several layers in the relatively small space. They also sell their own line of roasted coffee (beans).

Phileine L.

Yelp
I love the coffee this place serves. The atmosphere/decoration is also great. But it would be so much better if they had nice sweets to combine with the coffee. Right now they only have basic apple pie (if it hasn't run out) and banana bread / fig bread, which is more like bread than cake. If they would sell some good pies, cookies and/or cakes, I would go here a lot more often.

Rebecca D.

Yelp
Very good coffee, comfortable, friendly and accommodating. Stumbled on it the last day I was in Amsterdam, much to my dismay. I had been looking from Wadden Islands to Goes, with no results in finding a great cup of coffee. White label coffee offers single varietals, barista is knowledgeable about coffee and WHC does their own roasting! They were out of Ethiopian Yergacheffe, suggested something he thought I would like and he was spot on. I was able to get cafe au lait, which he brought to me in a large glass with a separate pot of steamed milk. Delicious, exactly the way I love it. I had started going though coffee withdrawal. The location was excellent for me and, given the opportunity to live in Amsterdam, this is the area I would choose. The square across the street is convenient, transportation is great and White House Coffee cannot be beat for a place to chill or get a cup of coffee on a run. WHC also sells my favorite coffee maker for home, Technivorm Mokkamaster, made in Netherlands of European parts. The best coffee maker you can find.
