White Mansion Boutique Hotel

This hotel looks beautiful and the staff knows how to service guests and make them feel welcome. Check in was smooth and the friendly lady explained us everything about the city. We got an upgrade and we were very pleased with the large room. It felt royal! Breakfast is a la carte and very good in a nice place with street view. I very much like that they have a water station where you can fill your bottles with water. |Houskeeping comes by in the afternoon and brings cookies and asks if you need your towels changed or whatever you would like. What a great service! This hotel is fantastic and I hope to come back one day.

A very colonial hotel on a quiet side street, tucked away behind a small entrance and featuring beautifully landscaped gardens. The room was spacious and grand, with a comfortable, large shower in the expansive bathroom. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff at the front desk are polite and pleasant, responding promptly to a couple of requests that I had. The hotel itself was formerly the American Embassy, which contributes to its grand interior, including an amazing staircase. I couldn't find any faults; the hotel is truly first class by Phnom Penh standards. This gives it a five-star feel at first sight, along with genuine warmth and charm. The location is central to key historical sights and local restaurants, so I highly recommend it. It was a truly amazing stay, and I will return.

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and it never ceases to impress. It is a true oasis in the heart of Phnom Penh.||Originally, the old American Embassy and a replica (in miniature) of the White House, it reflects all the grandeur you would expect. Super spacious lobby area, high vaulted ceiling and an amazing sweeping staircase leading upstairs.||All the rooms are very spacious and beautifully appointed. On each of our trips to White Mansion, in May and June respectively (low season), we have been offered (without request) room upgrades. This is a reflection of the lengths staff go to in order to accommodate guests!||The staff themselves are extremely professional and very friendly and will do everything to ensure your stay is a pleasing experience.||On site is a wonderful French style bakery/café which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner – with beer, wine and cocktails. My waist line is complaining but my taste buds were exhilarated!||The property is centrally located and walking distance to the river and many restaurants and bars. ||The property is “pet friendly” and while that is acceptable, I don’t like that animals are laying on lobby seating. On the floor certainly but not where people may be seated! This is more a patron responsibility/consideration problem rather than a staff issue but unfortunately it does affects other guests.||The only other issue I noted was that during the day and early evening the hotel internet is very slow. I observed a number of patrons in the café using gaming type computers and others conducting business – the usual types who buy 1 cup of coffee then spend hours on their computers. I suspect that this type of heavy usage then slows the rest of the property’s internet down to “crawl” speed.||Overall a truly magnificent boutique property and I would happily return – highly recommended.

The highlight accommodation of our trip. Comfortable. Spacious. Great pool. Amazing baguettes. Good location. Super helpful and welcoming staff. Great value. Good area near a great restaurant. We were able to walk to most places which we like to do.

Moving from Vietnam to Cambodia was humbling. The people are just beautiful, including the welcoming staff at The White Mansion. Gentle, lovely people with smiles every time you see them.|Our room was spacious, comfortable bed. If we had been staying any more than 2 nights, I would have had to mention the smell upon entering and during the night. A sewage odour. As we were only there for a short time, it did not ruin our stay. |The building is beautiful, quiet, and comfortable. Breakfast in the cafe was a nice change from the buffet of other hotels.|Great location to visit life at the river. I would stay again but maybe not in the same room with the odour.

A pristine hotel in a quiet side street tucked away behind a small entrance and with a very nice cafe/bakery attached. We were thrilled to be upgraded and our suite was the size of a ballroom and very clean and comfortable. The staff front of house are polite and pleasant. They responded at top speed with a couple of housekeeping requests we had on check in. The hotel itself is housed in the former American Embassy and it is very smart but cavernous inside. This definitely gives it the WOW factor on sight, but it’s surprisingly rather lacking in the genuine warmth and charm we’ve experienced at other hotels on our trip through Cambodia and Vietnam. Nevertheless great location, central to key historical sights and local restaurants so recommended.

Wonderful stay at White Mansion, ideally located just a short walk from the Royal Palace and the central market of Phnom Penh. The colonial-style building is full of charm, with a beautiful white façade and a calming atmosphere as soon as you enter.||The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, with an incredibly comfortable bed, a pleasant sitting area, and a modern bathroom. Despite the central location, the hotel remains quiet, perfect for relaxing after a day in the city.||The staff is incredibly kind and always available to help, whether it’s organizing a tuk-tuk or recommending nearby restaurants. Special mention for the long swimming pool surrounded by greenery. ideal for cooling off after visiting temples and museums.||A fantastic place to discover Phnom Penh in a chic and serene setting.

Well located hotel in a busy city. Staff were helpful and friendly and it was nice to dip in the pool although it was very slippery around the edge. Breakfast downstairs in the cafe was very pleasant with a good choice and not being a buffet was nice as it kept what we are in check! The room was okay, not the greatest view courtesy of being in the city but it was comfy and we slept well. We were pleased with our choice of hotel for Phnom Phen
