I recently stayed at the White Pass Village Inn and had an exceptional experience. After a full day of skiing, the heated pool was a perfect way to relax and rejuvenate. The tranquil atmosphere of the inn provided a peaceful retreat, making it an ideal spot for unwinding. The staff were outstanding, accommodating our early check-in request, which allowed us to settle in seamlessly before hitting the slopes. Their attentiveness and hospitality truly enhanced our stay. I highly recommend the White Pass Village Inn for anyone seeking a serene and enjoyable mountain getaway.

We enjoyed our stay . Loved the view of White Pass ski slopes . There are VHS movies to watch ! The shower is on the small side . Thanks for the hospitality !

I want to say that although I enjoyed my stay at White Pass Village Inn, my 5-star rating is mostly for Paul, who helped me and my friend in our hour of need! We were hopelessly unprepared for our road-trip to Mt. Ranier and as we got stuck in the snow, Paul took time out of his night to not only get us unstuck, but to prepare us dinner after hours, and get us a room (even though we had no reservation)! This is after 2 other heroes, Andrew and Avril, helped deliver us from the mountains (God bless you 2, wherever you are!) He was truly the angel we needed and I will forever be grateful to him for his selflessness that night! Thank you Paul-I hope you have the most blessed holiday!

Old facility but well maintained. We stay in a studio that sleeps 4 people. It was tight for us (2adults+2kids-9y and 12y). I haven't seen such a small bathroom but I was pleased to see it so clean. The beds were very comfortable, I wished they had extra pillows. The pool wasn't working but we had no time for it anyway. Staff was very nice and friendly. We are already planing to be back in the ski season as well in a bigger apartment.

Such a great place to stay! My boyfriend and I had an amazing time exploring the trails and using the heated pool. The room was cozy and very relaxing when the fire was going. Elise at the front desk was also very friendly and accommodating! Would 100% recommend staying here if you ever need a forest getaway. 😊🌲

We are greatly enjoying our stay. Staff is very nice and helpful. The grounds are lovely and the condo is beautiful! Clean and well stocked. Couldn't be more happy with the accommodations. My only problem is with the 20 kids partying above us. Throwing cigarettes off the balcony, smoking and drinking in the hall and drumming on everything. But i guess we can't expect perfection. We will come again next time we are in the area.

As a PCT hiker, I wish this place was a bit cheaper since it's right off the trail. But the loaner clothes, covered porch and proximity, plus the gal at the front desk added enough value to make the stay worth it when the weather was bad. As a snowboarder who travels with friends every winter, this place is a great value - and I even got discounted lift tickets this year!! Their new website makes it easy to book online and the office responds quickly when I called and left a message with a few questions. Love that they have photos of all the rooms, since each of the rooms I have stayed in were quite different from the last.

Yelp
For a summer retreat, this place is the best price around. Quiet, clean room, kitchen, and hassle-free. Reminder, this is not a motel where you can simply run to the front desk and request a towel or whatever. In fact, the door on the office says OPEN but good luck catching anyone. Nice, they have strict COVID regulations. Cleanliness is a 4-star. Pool for guests - not! The Kracker Barrel Store is not a full commodity store. They have few provisions, varied hours, lousy corn dogs, and questionable fresh coffee. Their fame-to-claim is being a stop-over for PCT hikers expecting packages. Yes, they could profit more with a remodel, showers, new marketing, and merchandise catering to hikers and skiers. Reminder, there is NO Internet and limited cell phone services regardless of who your provider is....for my visit, this was more than acceptable. Besides the PCT hikers, occasional fly fishers, and horse people, the majority of the recreation areas are frequented by locals from Yakima seeking reprieve from the heat. Be prepared for free-for-all-camping, overcrowded campgrounds, packed lake recreation sites including fishing and boating, and swimming, and partiers... watch where you walk because most recreation restroom facilities are closed due to COVID. Despite signs, garbage is abundant (not at the Inn, but bring your own garbage bags and toilet paper if adventuring out in any of White Pass recreation areas). I checked out early, not because of the conditions at the Inn, but the public disregard for preserving the area's natural beauty. I will not return to this section of the Wenatchee Forest or Yakima County during COVID - it is gross! Yes, I am forwarding this on to the Wenatchee Forest and Yakima County authorities. These areas need to be shut down now! The opinions and perspectives are my perspectives only. ~ Beth

Yelp
Individually owned condo units with on-site manager. Pricing structure is like an AirBnb or VBRO and not a hotel. Premium for location across from the ski lifts is totally worth it in my opinion.

Yelp
I would not recommend this place. Be prepared to take the trash out or pay a fee. I think they take advantage of hikers. They charged me $188. I looked online and the same room was listed at $122. No wifi or breakfast. Very little value other than a bed and a shower. The clerk took an usually long time to get me checked in.

Yelp
Office manager was very rude. Refused to provide any assistance to other guests that were locked out of their car, including borrowing a tool. They closed the pool an hour and a half early because there weren't many guests. Frustrating for the guests that stayed (and paid high prices) to utilize the facilities during the hours advertised as being open. Wouldn't recommend staying here if you can avoid it.

Yelp
I would have liked to stay here. I made a reservation. I drove 4 hours. I arrived after 10pm (which I let the front desk know when I made the reservation). The man doing after hours check-ins made me so uncomfortable, I couldn't wait to get out of the office and behind the closed door of my room. My husband, sensing the check in process was taking much longer than expected, tried to come check on me. He was met with a locked office door! When he was finally let into the office, the man behind the desk told him "oh sorry, it's just her and I now buddy". I walked to my room with a sinking spirit, only to find out that the room was the next one to the same creepy guy that checked me in. Could this be on purpose I thought to myself? Could he have seen my reservation for 1 with a woman's name and put me next to him on purpose? I wanted to believe not but I also knew I wouldn't sleep a wink in the room next to his. When asking to change rooms, his answer was, "yeah, but it's gunna cost ya". Ugggg. I had to trust my gut on this one. It felt so unfair! I felt so violated and upset. There was a bit of a disagreement as we left. The parting words were not kind on either parties side. We left with the reassurance at least of our card being refunded. I waited 4 days for the charge of $124 to be refunded to my card. I called to follow up on the 5th day after our reservation and was directed to speak with the General Manager. I was then informed that they don't give refunds inside of 30 days of your reservation date. He proceeded to tell me that it was my word against the man who checked me in and that there was NOTHING he could do for me. There was no protocol to file a complaint and in fact a refund was not coming back to my card.

Yelp
Would be three stars for location and heated pool. However, have had very bad experiences with customer service. Called several days in a row...left messsages, never got a call back. When I did finally get a human (as of yet, there is no online booking), they said theyd give me a call back in ten min....never did get that call. So disrespectful! When your lodging is outdated at best, and dingy at worst, quite a lot rides on the customer service. Much can be forgiven if you feel like your business is appreciated...apparently retaining customers is not their top priority. This time, we de decided to stay at Cowichan River Lodge...we won't be begging them to book us in the future.

Yelp
Unfortunately this is the only option at White Pass. After paying roughly $375 for two nights to stay in what felt like a dorm room, I was charged an additional $27.79 in "cleaning fees". The charge was for two empty broken down beer boxes and a half full trash can. I would not recommend this hotel. Spend the extra 20 minutes to drive to Packwood and stay in a fair priced hotel that has larger rooms. I will never go back and that is unfortunate as this hotel has tons of potential due to its location.

Yelp
We have been coming to the village at white pass for our family's Christmas for over 30 years. We typically rent out 7 condos at a time. It's now under new management. Last year our stay was horrible. Rooms were not clean , bedding was not washed, it was a nightmare of a stay. So this year I wanted to make sure we were getting a room large enough to accommodate our family. After a few phone calls The Village at White Pass told us that they were able to switch us to a room with the space we needed. They said they would do this just once. We were paying for 7 condos. They made us pay Thursday to Sunday on each one even though we were not able to come in until Friday. This is a new policy . We were able to get over that however what we were not able to get over is the harassment a couple weeks later. They charge us for an 8th room that they promised we wouldn't be charged for. They also charged for extra garbage bags. They told us they needed to do what they needed to do. So now we will do what we have to do and let people know just how disrespectful the management is and how we will never be back to this place again. They tried to also get sneaky and have other family members pay for the bill that had already been payed. These people are rude, not conciderste of their customers and the condos are getting very old and are very uncomfortable. Show less

Yelp
My wife and I are certainly happy to write this review after our stay July 14, 2020! We were only going up to White Pass area for a day trip and decided to spend the night. Remember, this is in the heart of the Cascade Mountains and lodging is not always easy to find! We stopped in hoping to find a vacancy and Curtis, the office manager, came to our rescue! We have stayed at many "resort" condos / cabins / motels, and this was a perfect match! We just needed a bed for the night, and we got a hot shower, kitchenette - stocked with utensils, and even more! For being last-minute, off the cuff, plan "C" with this day trip, Curtis and the White Pass Village Inn were a great solution to our wild card plans, making our trip even more fun! I called Curtis when we got home and Thanked him again and told Curtis, We Will Be Back!

Yelp
This was exactly what we needed! The room was a great price. This should be called ski condos not a motel. Our room was perfect. It had a comfy bed, small dining table and fully stocked kitchen. The balcony had a beautiful view of the mtn. The pool was great and we took advantage of the gas grills to cook dinner. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Yelp
Cheap awesome little lodge. Nice cozy studio with a comfy bed and view of the ski resort. Full kitchen with personalized decor in each room. Friendly, friendly, friendly staff! Can't say enough good things about this place. Heated pool, gas station next door has amenities including laundry. Great location next to a ski resort that looked on the map to be decently sized with plenty of runs. Thank you for the great hospitality!

Yelp
small, but we were out skiing all day so didn't really care. Extremely small twin beds, and a really small flatscreen. While your here, you need to get your stuff in order, especially if you are with others. Its very small and can get messy. Comfy, cozy and the food isn't half bad. I don't have too much to say, because I wasn't there for very long--I was skiing, but everything was exactly how a ski lodge is supposed to be.... So it was a-ok

Yelp
I had a wedding to attend at the lodge. The Village Inn had the cheapest pricing out of the other two hotels and the condos so I went with them since I only needed it for one night. It was exactly what I paid for. A bed, a bathroom and a balcony. Not fancy in any way, shape or form. No luxuries at all. Sort of run down. You can tell its pretty old. Very musty smelling when you walk in the room but its clean and that's what really matters. Had a pretty good view from the balcony but we weren't in the room too much so it really didn't matter. I will say the bed was pretty comfy so that was nice. The lady at the front desk was super nice and honestly that is what would make me go to this place again. All in all it was fine but nothing spectacular. It served its purpose.

Yelp
I know it it tempting but don't do it! If there is even the most remote chance (death in the family, serious illness, car accident) that you have to cancel the reservation, it will not be honored. You will not be refunded at any level. Stay in Packwood or Yakima. It's a much better option.

Yelp
SOooo tiny! The sheets did not fit the bed, so they road up all night. The bathroom was so small my hubby could barely take a shower. The kitchenette featured a tiny stove, only a few of the burners worked. My kids were soo excited for the pool that was heated and beautiful on the website. We get there...no pool. Closed. The website says open year around, but no. We go to the office to get a few extra pillows, god forbid, I have a bad back, The desk clerk actually questioned us, and made us feel terrible for asking. He said, "I'm sure there are enough pillows in that room, why do you need more?" It was strange. The rooms are not cleaned day to day, so you have to get towels as you need them. Everyone had showered and we were out of towels, my boys went to the desk to get more, and again were confronted, by the same man, as to why we needed more, and when we were leaving. We were booked over the entire memorial day weekend, Fri. sat, and Sunday, this was on Saturday. To top it off...There was no television. They had taken down all the satellites, so there was no television at all. The internet is unavailable, maybe one bar of coverage, I had not expected fancy tech, it is in the mountains, but nothing. There was no phones in the room, I could not call my mom to tell her we had arrived safe, or call my husband we he went for food. I needed help during sunday night, and there was no one at the front office, NO way to contact an employee or get to a telephone. It was shut tight with no info to contact anyone. I ran down to the convenience store down the hill, and again no phone. The room was musty and poorly maintained. The décor was early...yucky I guess. We will never be back, and regret the money being spent. We drove all the way to Morton looking for a new place to stay after our first night, but the whole area was booked up the whole weekend. In conclusion, disappointed, my boys cried after weeks of wanting to swim in an almost hottub temperature pool in the middle of a wilderness paradise with snowy hills looking on was swept away with incredible disappointment and no tv to watch at night. Sad
