White Rabbit BBQ

Personally, my family and I are huge fans of this place. We are from the US, and it reminds us of bbq spots there. Subtle differences with an Irish touch, but the food is delicious either way. And the whiskey selection is outstanding, with knowledgeable bartenders. Reminds me of some of the best bourbon bars back in the states. Fair prices, and for the most part, they have what is on the menu! Frustrating to order a whiskey only to be told it is not available. This spot is not like that. We will definitely be back to check in on their barrel aging project. 👍🇮🇪🥃

Awesome food great staff. Lightening quick service very quite but it was an early Tuesday evening I'd say it gets packed on the weekends . Seats where hard wood so u wudnt sit for long but food deffo worth it 👌 😋. Had the brisket with potato salad proper potatoes and Chilli coleslaw was amazing wasn't enough for me I'm a big portion eater but any average person it's more than enough great rustic American feel to it. Food was fresh and vibrant and full of flavours . Brisket falling off the fork nice and juicy .only missed out on a 5 star due to the small portions but That's just my opinion and not in any way a reflection on the quality of the food the dessert was 3 spoonfuls

Texas smokehouse with an Irish pub feel. The staff was friendly, professional, and excellent. The food was exactly how I remember from amazing smoke competitions in Texas with deep, rich flavors and a bit of spice for a kick! Highly recommended.

Nice bar. Good cocktail selection (I had the Garden of Eejits - eat the chocolate last..) and at least 150 bottles of Whiskey. Good music selection. They do serve food but I didn't eat there. Bar top is covered in comics.

What a wonderfull place. Service was fast and friendly. We come Herd with 3 people and get a good portion of many things. The quality was great the tast awesome. Soo good location, good food and good. Of there will be a chance we will come back;)

Great place for a wide variety of barbecued meats and some very tasty sides. Beef brisket is definitely the most popular order and the spicy slaw is a highly recommended side order. Very good selection of drinks and friendly staff. Worth a visit

Can’t believe I had walked past here so many times over the years without trying it but after eating here once I’ll definitely be back. The Korean Pork Belly sandwich is unbelievable, the flavour is something else. The mac & cheese gets a 10/10, I’d probably come back even just for that! Great selection of whiskeys and bourbons, will definitely be back again.

The atmosphere is excellent. The potato salad side: delicious. The burger: could use work. I ordered the Gourmet burger, which consists of brisket meat, bacon and blue cheese. Salty overload! Toasting the buns to avoid soggyness may help in future. Brisket meat however, was absolutely divine! Excellent service as well. Just look at the Gourmet burger again 😅

I was very excited to try it and while good, did not blow me away as I expected from the reviews. I am from North Carolina, so I do have a high bar from BBQ, but based on the reviews I thought this would be better. The ribs were nice and the sauce was good, but the overall size and meatiness of the ribs was only average. The corn was also okay but nothing exciting while I found the beans watery. It was a fun meal but probably not worth a detour.

As we live in North Carolina, I was not sure about BBQ. I would say that I was very surprised. The food was very good. The meat just fell off the baby back ribs. The potato salad with peas was a little surprising but everyone loved it. The staff was excellent and very friendly. The ambiance was not amazing but the food and staff more than made up for it. I would not pass on this place. Strongly recommend it for a change of pace.

Got a few lovely sides here, not to mention some of their crafty beers, while waiting for the train; the place was completely void of other customers but the decor was funky enough to forgive it. The chatty barman was really lovely, doling out Cork charm by the bucketload. When our corn-on-the-cobs and potato salad arrived, they went down easy with the few pints. Almost too easy, as we ended up legging it to make it on time! I'd definitely venture back in here to try the BBQ next time I'm back in the People's Republic. Word of warning though: DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE WITHOUT TASTING THE STOUT BBQ SAUCE. I would have nicked one to eat on the train if I'd had room in my bag.

Incredible food, amazing service, the Mac n cheese is particularly good and the vegetarian burrito is great :)

Excellent BBQ find and given the by our new mate from South Carolina. Pulled pork, ribs, pork belly, sammich. By the time we left the bar it was busy and Irish songs already being sung. It was €50 each for a table of 5. We all had our own meal, a few shared sides and 2 drinks each, including tip.

Great place for dinner and a brew, and little to no wait! Great drinks, amazing service, fun music!

I live in North Carolina (USA) and Cork was my last stop on a long Ireland trip. Ireland is a beautiful country, but I was feeling homesick by the time I got to Cork. I discovered White Rabbit on Yelp and was thrilled to find a BBQ place. It was VERY tasty. The stout sauce is amazing! I didn't try the Carolina BBQ sauce because I noticed it had mustard, which is more of a South Carolina BBQ thing. The baked beans were a little bland, but tasted great once I poured the stout sauce on them.

This bar was next to the place we were staying for a few days in Cork, so we had drinks and food here a few times. The pulled pork was tasty, the bartenders friendly and they pulled a good beer, and good music playing (both live and when there wasn't live music playing). I also really liked the decor of the bar, gave it a good vibe. Would recommend trying this place out.

As an ageing rocker with a slight fetish for dive bars and BBQ you can take my word for it that this place is great. It's only been open 3 months about the period I get hallpass to visit Cork. Although love Rising sons, BDSM, Fred Zepplins etc. This could be my news go to, could be Ireland's Reds true barbeque. So here's my review, hope there's room for me in 3 months.

Good food. Definitely reminds me of the Southern US states. Only one employee working front of house which was a disservice to the establishment. She was very nice and effective but overloaded. Desert is highly recommended

The barbecue brisket is the way to go! The slaw is also a winner. Great spot in cork if you are craving bbq! And the whiskey collection is awesome as well!

The very best BBQ place in Cork. The taste is very authentic, for a start, and the portions are perfectly sized. I appreciate the availability of more than one barbecue sauce, as it attempts to capture the diversity of this style of cooking. I have found the service helpful and attentive and always willing to answer questions. I'd suggest ignoring some of the snarky xenophobic reviews I've seen here and come enjoy for yourself.

Very limited seating, loud, dingy, definitely a dive bar. Dirty sticky table and cutlery. Servers surly and impatient. The food is only ok. Had the pork belly, was extremely salty. Hubby had pulled pork, he's had nicer. Mac and cheese tasted floury not cheesy. The green beans were good. Good if you want cheap food in a loud bar and do not want to relax while you are eating-this is the place for you. Why every restaurant in Cork lately is trying to imitate cheap American food is beyond me.

Very good food. I live in Alabama, and this is about the closest to real BBQ in Ireland. Be prepared though, it has its own twist, but in a good way! Also a very nice atmosphere and fun decorations. Would definitely recommend to go here.
