This place offers such a beautiful experience!! The atmosphere is cozy and intriguing, and the outdoor garden area’s location on the river is the perfect spot to sit and drink a coffee while reading a book. Inside, they sell tons of unique and interesting used books in good condition for super reasonable prices, as well as other niche items, jewelry, accessories, and fun things. It’s a great place to go if you want to find something unexpected or unique. I love White Rabbit!!

What a magical delight to find on the walking trail! I was visiting a friend in Durango and we spent the day walking the river trail. We stumbled upon this whimsical hidden gem and fell in love with it immediately. It feels like a secret treehouse for book lovers and witches. The owner was kind and the music matched the vibes. Every little detail was a joy to take in.

One of the top 5 bookstores I've ever been in. Perfectly curated with a wonderful selection of topics. It is reasonably priced and the shop owner and the staff I've interacted with are not only friendly, but incredibly helpful. It's in a beautiful, out of the way location, right on the river walk. If you're visiting Durango and enjoy reading, you do not want to miss this little gem!

Really cute little shop with lots of classics and newer titles! We found a bunch of stuff I never thought I'd see in a bookshop around here. Definitely worth a visit!

To find this hidden gem, I'd recommend parking at Burger King and going down the back stairs towards the river trail. Keena, the owner, is super nice and helpful. She carries a wonderful assortment, from classics to the occult, and will keep an eye out for anything she doesn't have -if requested. Books fill the walls from top to bottom with a beautiful array of jewelry, stickers, and local art nestled in between. Be warned though, I went in just out of curiosity and came out an hour later with a MUCH longer "to be read" list. My girlfriend and I felt completely welcomed there and we really enjoyed meeting Keena. I can't wait for the summer as she hosts fun and unique events then. This cozy shop is a book lovers paradise.

This was such a cute little book shop that we stumbled upon while riding bikes along the Animas River! It was very elegant and beautiful and the owner was so kind! She had a wide variety of books ranging from fantasy, romance, tales and stories and history! Definitely recommend going.

An absolute delight! When you are in Durango, you must check this bookshop out. An eclectic and modern selection of books amd oddities.

Highly underrated and probably unknown business in town. The owner is very passionate about books and the vibe is just all there. I also find unique pieces of jewelry here that I can't find anywhere else in town. The books are reasonably price and/or cheap and the location is perfect.

When you walk into this amazing little spot right off the river, just know you might be able to find that book that you've been thinking about and haven't been able to find it. Also, be surprised at what you might find!

Lovely shop situated in a lovely location. The shop owner was welcoming and helpful. I arrived 45 minutes before closing but was not made to feel rushed in any way. I found the book I was looking for and others I didn't know I was looking for. Her shop faces the river and is a bit tricky to find but if you persevere, you will be rewarded.

This magical little store has a curated collection of books, curiosities, and little treasures. Tucked away along the river side, its unique and friendly energy draws you right in. A must stop for any book lover and off the beaten path wanderer.

This shop made my life! I walked in and was just completely enamored. The traditional library ladder was so cute. A tiny little spot but.. was truly JUST what I was looking for and I'm so happy I found it. I actually was searching for a pendulum specifically and found a perfect one for me. I also purchased a hamsa wind chime, a stone Buddha, and some mandala earrings. My daughter picked up a mystery wrapped bundle of books for $5 and she was ecstatic as she opened them. I could have spent a lot longer there browsing the books and had some ice cream but my family was ready to head to lunch. I will absolutely go back when given the opportunity again.

This eclectic little shop is full of treasures! We were overjoyed to find it! Loved the owner & appreciated the way she listened & her help funding books for our kiddos. Very small, so they don't have everything, but a GREAT selection & some unique items & books. Well worth visiting! Not sure if she still sells local ice cream but at one point she did & it was great to grab books, ice cream & sit by the river ( right outside the door!!!) We will be back!

This is a GEM of a bookstore! For being so tiny, the owner has packed it with quality books and goods! Made a special trip from Pagosa to Durango and just to visit this store one more time. From the library ladder to the cute surprise book brown bags you can buy out front, this store has something for everyone! And the most creative souvenir shopping too. My husband even got ice cream while I was shopping. Love love love this shop!

Driving through Durango on our way to the campgrounds, we realized we didn't have any reading materials. Looked up White Rabbit and we are so glad we found this little gem next to the river. A really special place with very reasonably priced books.

Deceptively small, they have packed this place ceiling to floor with an amazing selection of used books and little treasures. I enjoyed the adventure of finding six or seven books I had to have while listening to the lord of the rings soundtrack mixed with the sound of the Animas river and bicyclists driving by. Plus they have a cute little garden with benches, tables, chairs, and umbrellas to relax in. If you are a book person, this is a great stop in Durango. Note that its a little tough to find and Google gives you bad directions. It is in the back of the building, facing the river.
