Though it was a long while ago, I still remember our stay here fondly. Our room (The Stratford) was light and airy with the most amazing bathroom. The owners were lovely and offered friendly – and very useful – tips for getting the best out of the local area. The breakfast is exceptional and sets you up perfectly for the day. The whole house is immaculately presented and as soon you walk in you feel an immense sense of calm. White Sails is a wonderful B&B that I would happily return to next time I visit the area.

We have just returned from a wonderful 2 day stay at White Sails. Tim & Denise are lovely hosts, providing thoughtful little extras including homemade cake on arival, sherry & freshly baked bread everyday. Our room the Stratford was lovely, with an amazing en suite. We will definitely return & would highly recommend.

Had a one night stay at the White Sails. On arrival we received a very warm welcome fromy Tim the owner. After explaining what he needed he showed us to our room; No.1 Stow. The room was beautiful. Decorated lovely, it was large with a silent fridge, tea & coffee making facilities and a very large, modern and beautiful en-suite shower room. Breakfast the next morning was very good. There was s fantastic selection of cereal, fruit, yogurts and hot foods. We opted for the full English and the quality was excellent. Would definitely recommend the White Sails.

A lovely B & B, we were warmly welcomed by Tim on arrival. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, but it is the little hidden extras that makes White Sails stand out from the rest. Home baked ginger cake in room, a decanter of sherry and espresso machine in the cosy lounge, plus bowls of sweets and mints dotted around. A good choice of breakfasts again with unique touches. We will return and cannot recommend White Sails highly enough.

The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The standard of decor and furnishings is excellent - the best towels of any hotel or B&B I've stayed in, very comfy bed. Breakfast was lovely- a delightful fresh fruit salad, homemade bread and a wide range of cereals, grains and/ or cooked food. Everything had been thought of to ensure a comfortable stay.

Excellent accommodation in this boutique b&b. On main road just out of town. Can walk into town if feeling energetic. Took us about 45mins with frequent stops to visit places. Breakfast lovely and hosts very friendly. Free coffee etc in room and small fridge with selection of drinks and snacks (at cost). Parking on site is a big bonus.
