I wasn’t going to leave bad review but I reached out to upper management and the only thing they did was say they were “sorry”. Nothing was done to rectify our terrible stay. A/C broke, microwave didn’t work, water was flooding into our bedroom for our entire stay, our golf cart was taken off the property without us knowing, extremely rude staff at the bar and restaurant & that is only the start of it. The location is beautiful but our room was outdated & pics were deceiving.

We had a wonderful stay at the White Sands Cove Resort. The place was quiet, spotless, and the staff were professional and friendly. We were there in the "off season" of August. The resort is about 2.5 miles north of San Pedro, so you'll want a golf cart rental to get back and forth. The fact that it's out of town, off the main road, and close to the beach means it's quieter and more peaceful than the places in town or close to town. Our suite had ceiling fans and quiet air conditioning. We had good water pressure for the shower. The kitchen was well stocked, with a 5-gallon water dispenser on the counter (but honestly, the filtered tap water tasted fine to us). ||Jenny and Noe in the office were always available during the day if we needed anything, and Mike and Alex do an amazing job keeping the grounds clean and raked, as well as handyman jobs. (The groundskeeping was the 2nd thing we noticed after the cute 2-story round bungalows.)||The pool was large, clean, and we had it mostly to ourselves. The beach - like the rest of the grounds - was always neat. We took advantage of the shaded gazebo and hammock a few times during our stay.||The White Sands can arrange spa treatments and excursions including snorkeling, diving, and fishing that will pick you up at their dock vs you driving back to San Pedro. (I already had mine booked before we arrived, so down to San Pedro we went.)||There are some good restaurants pretty close by, and a bar&grill on site.||The only issue we had was my own causing - I lost the keys. Jenny and Noe were quick to get us new ones, for which we are grateful.||We really enjoyed the stay, and will use them again in the future.

It's a solid three stars. Very nice staff, rooms are clean, decent restaurant with nice view. The layout of this small resort is nice and welcoming with beautiful flora and fauna. There is no swimming off the beach bc there is no beach. Lots of merky, dirty, trash filled water lapping against the shoreline (not the resorts fault or even anything they could clean up or control) You have to get a ride to the reef with one of the diving companies if you want to snorkel which we did. The "preserve" they take everyone to features a ton of dead coral and merky water. There were sting ray, shark, turtles and fish but the waters were so full of tourists and boats it was anything but relaxing or enjoyable. In town Belize is noisy, dirty and roads are littered with speed bumps so big and so often we both experienced motion sickness ( and we don't ever experience that anywhere). The golf carts are gas powered and not comfortable to ride in. It can take a half hour to go 4 miles.

The staff really went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable experience. Big shout out to Mike and Andre for their amazing hospitality. We visited during the off-season which meant it was nice and quiet, but that seems to be the case during the busy season also. The location is great to be between Secret Beach and San Pedro Town. Not so far out that it's inconvenient to get to things, but also tucked away with lots of privacy. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious.

This was a great place to stay. I love the full size condos with kitchens and living rooms and decks overlooking the ocean and pool. It was quiet, which I prefer and had a great pool big enough for all visitors. The restaurant on site was fine. The food was decent and the drinks were good. The staff all very friendly. The dive shops picked us up from the docks which made staying here super easy. I also liked that there were a couple of restaurants not too far away that we could walk to. I really enjoyed staying here, the atmosphere very tranquil and the views amazing. Keep in mind that many of the places along Ambergris Caye do not have beaches but with the pool and the diving, we did not need it. I would highly recommend this place, especially the condos with two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. They were very nice and very clean and when sharing with friends nobody felt crowded.

This is a peaceful, friendly, relaxing resort. The rooms are huge and clean with a kitchen. There is no breakfast here so stop in the store to pick up supplies. The restaurant on site is open 6 days a week for lunch and dinner. The fish tacos and mixed drinks are to die for. The pool is the perfect temperature, even in August when other places have too hot a pool. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a library that you can use. There is a dock on site for pickups. The water at the dock looks too dirty to swim. There is a definite smell of sargassum many days. The hotel provides you with big jugs of bottled water. There is really only one other restaurant in walking distance but it’s good (Aji). I recommend renting a golf cart if you want to get into town easily. This hotel is also pet friendly so you may see some cute pups.

We loved our stay at White Sands Cove! Very welcoming with a community feel. Great bar & restaurant on site with Kamronne and Ashanti happy to serve you each day. Rosie was there at the front desk to help with anything you needed. In addition to spending time at La Cala Bar & Grille on site, we also enjoyed eating at The Garage, Aji's, and Marbuck's. Always like the music at the Palapa Bar in town. Secret Beach and a day trip to Caye Calker were fun. We enjoyed the north location and will be more than happy to return!!!

Our week at White Sands Cove was perfect. The units had everything we needed and were beautifully decorated. Paulina, in housekeeping, made sure our room was tidy and well-stocked. The grounds and pool were spotless. Mike and Alex took care of everything outside. Both so friendly, and quick with suggestions and information about the area. We enjoyed every time we saw them. The beach here is not good for swimming, but it is only a 20 minute golf cart ride to Secret Beach. | Food and drinks at La Cala were to-die-for. Ashanti attended our every need at the bar, restaurant and pool area. She was always friendly and also offered suggestions of things to enjoy during our stay. Rosie, in the office, was a doll. She made phone calls for us to reschedule the water taxi, shuttle, etc. Always smiling and helpful. The staff goes the extra mile, for sure!
