Google
White Water Walk is one of the most peaceful yet awe-inspiring experiences in Niagara. The boardwalk takes you right beside the Class 6 rapids, and the sheer power of the water is incredible to witness up close. The pathway is well maintained, easy to walk, and offers plenty of great photo spots. It’s a quieter attraction compared to the main Falls area, which makes it perfect if you want to enjoy nature without the big crowds. The sound of the rushing water and the views along the gorge make it a really refreshing experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Niagara — a short, scenic, and unforgettable walk! 🌊📸

Google
It's a beautiful short walk just the entrance fee seems to be a bit much for what you get. (Also the reason for the 3* rating) Still happy we did it and I can cross it off my list now. Nice views. Sadly the platform closest to the river was closed off. The selfie point is useless couldn't find my picture but was offered (online by the system) to download other people's pictures. Very questionable in my opinion. Would recommend going early when the sunlight still hits the water giving you the most vibrant colours The wait was long. Clean area. Wheelchair and stroller mostly accessible - exceptions are the lookout platforms.

The White Water Walk offers a beautiful and refreshing experience. From the manmade wooden boardwalk, you get an up-close view of the turbulent, emerald-green Niagara River as it rushes through the narrow gorge. The naturally eroded rock formations add a scenic and calming element to the walk. The short tunnel from the elevator to the boardwalk adds a nice touch to the overall experience. While there is some waiting time for the elevator both going down and back up, it’s manageable. There’s also a souvenir shop at the exit where you can pick up gifts and memorabilia. Overall, a pleasant and worthwhile experience, especially for nature lovers and those looking for a peaceful walk with stunning views.

Google
We recently visited White Water Walk and it was absolutely beautiful! The view of the rapids was breathtaking — watching the power and intensity of the water up close was truly mesmerizing. It’s a peaceful and scenic experience, and a great spot to take in the raw natural beauty of Niagara. I recommend coming early when it opens — it’s much quieter and gives you the chance to enjoy the views without the crowds. A must-visit if you’re looking for a more tranquil and awe-inspiring stop in Niagara Falls!

Google
Walking through the White Water Walk was one of the most peaceful yet powerful experiences I’ve had. The sound of the rushing water, the cool breeze, and being so close to the rapids made me feel connected to nature in a whole new way. The boardwalk gives you incredible views of the whitewater and the sheer force of the river is just amazing to witness up close. It’s one of those experiences that pictures just don’t do justice you really have to see and feel it for yourself. I highly recommend it if you’re visiting Niagara Falls.

Google
Absolutely loved this spot! The White Water Walk is such a peaceful and underrated experience in Niagara Falls. You get to stroll right alongside the insanely powerful rapids of the Niagara River — the water’s speed and strength are just unreal when you see it that close. The boardwalk is super clean and well-maintained, and it’s not crowded like the main Falls area, so you can actually take your time and enjoy the views. The sound of the rushing water and the mist in the air make it feel almost unreal. It’s a short walk but totally worth it — great for photos, relaxing, or just taking a break from the busier attractions. Highly recommend this if you want something calm but still incredibly scenic. Definitely a must-do in Niagara! 🌊💙

Google
Walk was nice, but short.. 1 elevator for a bunch of people gets very crowded. Not sure if white water walk gives free parking, but we had to pay the expensive price of $8/ per hour! Staff were nice, lineup to go back up the elevator is very long… Overall a good experience just the elevator thing is very complicated and crowded

Dylan C.

Google
Wonderful experience. We were here on August 21st around 11am. Line was about 15 min wait for the elevator. Once on the boardwalk it’s a self guided tour. Wonderful views of the rapids and surrounding topography!
google avatar

Kasey P.

Yelp
The line was long and hot but the walk was worth it. Didn't take but maybe an hour total, with slowly walking and getting snacks. But remember it can get hot.
google avatar

Ada Z.

Yelp
The white water walk was beautiful and such a nice stroll along a boardwalk. The stroll was about 20-30 minutes, but we waited in line for over an hour after our reservation time to even enter because there is only one elevator that everyone must take, to go down to the boardwalk. We didn't get wet during the walk and had a stroller with us. There were two spots that you could go down the steps to get closer to the waters, so we just left the strollers and walked down without it. Parking was also limited and difficult to find when we came around 4-5pm on a weekend. We will not redo this event again in the future, unless they add more elevators or improve on their reservation system so that people don't wait so long after their reservations to enjoy the walk.

Yelp
This was such a fun and cool experience. I really loved it! Very organized and I loved all the fun facts they had around the walk
google avatar

Mary M.

Yelp
Great up close view of Class 6 rapids. Elevator takes you down to the walkway and you can spend as much or as little time as you want. There are places to sit at the beginning and end of the walkway if this is something your party needs or you just want to relax and enjoy for a bit. There is a gift shop on street level where you can pick up gifts or basic snack items. The staff was very helpful and informative. Like everything else in Niagara, there is a charge, but I believe it came up to about $20 USD so it's totally worth the cost. Tip: Bird Kingdome is not too far away so you can do both on the same trip.
google avatar

Scott F.

Yelp
Find the time to spent 45 mins to an hour here, it is well worth it. You take an elevator down to a tunnel that leads to the viewing platform and walks along the class 6 rapids. The color of the water and the standing waves a quite a sight to behold! This was our second time visiting and it was just as awe inspiring as the first. Such natural beauty around the area and the park system is superb in their commitment to allow access and keeping everyone safe.
google avatar

Yelp
Wow. This attraction is simple. The bus drops you off and you go down in an elevator and walk out onto the platform to see the water. Then you walk down another wooden walkway to the end. It has some stuff areas where you can go down the steps to get closer to the water. You would think this is boring but it was so exhilarating to see this water rushing 60 mph. It almost didn't look real. This was also part of our package plan. And we really liked it. We probably stayed a good 45 minutes just staring at that water I didn't want to leave. Go get you some nature!!
google avatar

Scott W.

Yelp
Up close and personal view of the Niagara Falls Category 6 rapids. We purchased the adventure pass which seems to be the best deal because it includes the 15 minutes ride via bus transport to and from a few of the activities out here. Once inside, you take an elevator down to a tunnel underground and walk through until you reach the viewing area. There is a nice wooden walking path ahead of the tunnel exit which leads to several platforms great for taking photos. It was cold 52 degrees and windy here today; regardless, we pushed through and spent about 30 minutes soaking in the marvelous beauty and power of these rapids. It was an amazing experience and I highly recommend stopping in if you're here visiting.
google avatar

Caroline S.

Yelp
I thought this was an overpriced tourist attraction at about $16 per person. We purchased tickets at the counter and took a very cool old elevator down 70m to the walkway. It's a short walk and the rapids are beautiful, but we only spent about 30 minutes there and I don't think it was worth the price. We arrived early in a weekday, but it was still pretty crowded. I may be spoiled because the day before we hiked on the US side down to a similar spot across the water. We had the place to ourselves and even got to dip our feet in the water. That was a much more enjoyable experience and free. If you are unable to hike, or can only walk short distances, this may be a good alternative. Otherwise, a hike is much more scenic and enjoyable.
google avatar

Jennifer D.

Yelp
The view was nice, you could see the water rushing through while walking; you can also see a bridge on the way. If you are looking for a time where there isn't much traffic or people, I suggest to go in the morning. The tunnel when entering and exiting is a great way to cool down.
google avatar

Kenny Y.

Yelp
You can't see the waterfalls from this attraction. It's actually kind of far from the falls themselves. This is basically a lovely short walk along the river. You line up to take an elevator down to the water. There is a covered pavilion with a little ice cream stand. There is a relatively short wooden path that takes you along the river, with some information plaques along the way. Along the path, there is a viewing platform where you can take some nice pictures of the rapids rushing underneath the Whirlpool bridge. If you have gone white water rafting before or hiked along river rapids before, you probably will not think much of this attraction. If you have small kids, they probably will not care for it either, though you can always buy them ice cream to keep them entertained.
google avatar

Tanya C.

Yelp
I had the adventure pass and although I had a scheduled time I was able to come whenever. We stood in line and took an elevator down. There was an observation deck and a walk way where we could walk by the water where you could see the impressive current.
google avatar

Jake K.

Yelp
Really fun to see the rapids up close. Not a super long trial but you get a lot of great viewing spots and picture opportunities. Probably my favorite part of Niagara Falls.
google avatar

Esther Y.

Yelp
We came here at the end of October and got to see the fall colors This was included in our 2 day pass at Niagara Falls. The walk was beautiful and the river was mesmerizing. I found the information about the history of the river to be insightful.

William K.

Yelp
I consider this attraction to be a bit off the beaten path. It's awesome!! Why some don't come here, I do not understand. Perhaps it's because it may seem boring at first glance, but I think other than the boat ride up close to the falls, this could be the best attraction in town. It feels serene to walk down a path along the rapids, hearing the water flow and roar in front of you. It's also not too crowded and kept well clean, which can be a nice break from the mass influx of tourists that flood the area by the falls. Plan on being here for at least 45 minutes to an hour to truly take in the beauty of the rapids unfolding right in front of you. And while Niagara attractions may be pricey, this one is definitely worth paying for.
google avatar

Britni L.

Yelp
This was included in our adventure pass. We originally weren't going to do it but it was explained to us as easily accessible with a wheelchair. It was for the most part (my husband uses a portable booster, which helps). It was a beautiful down to the base of the river downstream quite a ways from the falls. They are class 6 rapids and quite turbulent. More so than close to the falls! Lots of views and educational signs.

Yelp
White Water Walk is another fun experience to take your loved ones out for some adventure. We also had the pleasure of coming here to check out the place. My first time here, and we took a walk eating some ice cream and looking at the roaring water of nature. Everything is all green and its a boast on the Canadian border as well. Please come out to White Water Walk. You will enjoy the experience.

Yelp
There isn't much to this walk. Sixty minutes is the recommended amount of time to spend here. Will you spend a whole hour here? If you walk super slow, wait for other people to pass on the boardwalk (during these covid19 times) and walk to and from your parking spot and briefly browse at the gift shop it's possible. Otherwise, you'll spend significantly less time here. Your ticket can be purchased inside the gift shop or you can repurchase online, security will check any bags that you may have and then you wait for an elevator. A staff in the elevator will give you a few facts on the way down such as traveling down 70 metres to get to the boardwalk. There's a walkway to the boardwalk from the elevator and then there's a large platform to view the rapids and the start of the boardwalk on the other side. I liked the information plaques along the way providing facts like how high the waves are in the Whirlpool Rapids (5 metres!), the rapids travel at 48 km/hr, the waves are caused by the sheer force of the water being directed through the narrowing of the gorge and that these rapids are Class 6 (from a scale of Class 1 to 6). There's a few viewing platforms that extend from the boardwalk to get a closer look at the rapids. Beware that water from the rapids does splash onto the platforms. I wish that the boardwalk was longer so that we could spend more time beside the rapids.
google avatar

Jack G.

Yelp
Beautiful view down by the water. You feel the power of the rapids. Easy walk for all ages. Some history but no place to stop for more leisurely time by the water's edge. Need to go to the US side for hiking trails.
google avatar

Ashok J.

Yelp
This is a nice short walk along the river. The elevators were quick and we did not have to wait for long. It was stroller friendly. This is not a place with a great view point but just gets you close to the river. Good for a short stroll

Yelp
Gord and I drove down to Niagara Falls and did the White Water Walk. It's something we've been wanting to do for a while. "Experience a first-hand lesson in the raw power and peril of the Niagara River's Class 6 white-water rapids. The roar of the river provides a deceptive calmness, the perfect ambiance for your walk among the many viewing platforms that put you right at the river's edge. For those looking for an up-close and personal view of nature's power, you will not want to miss this. This self-guided tour includes many stories about the geology of the Niagara Gorge and the plant and animal life you may see on your visit to Niagara Parks. Travel by elevator down 70 meters to the base of the gorge and the impressive quarter mile of boardwalk that runs along the shoreline. Stepping out from the exit tunnel you will be immediately immersed in the soothing roar of North America's largest series of standing waves! Make your way down the self-guided boardwalk tour as you take in the crashing waves and enjoy an excellent view of the 410-million-year-old rock layers of the Niagara Gorge. Branching off from the boardwalk are several viewing platforms that allow visitors to get even closer to the Whirlpool Rapids travelling by at 48 km/hr. These platforms also provide some of the best photo opportunities in the entire park!" It was really cool to be down next to the waves! Were they strong and powerful! There was about a 20 minute wait to get down to the first viewing platform. Because of COVID, you could only go down with who you came with. Also because of COVID, it wasn't overly crowded. It was a fun way to spend a couple hours!

Yelp
This is part of our Niagara Fall Classic Pass but it's normally $17 per person to get in this attraction. We were greeted by staff joyfully, so that was nice and then we were directed to an elevator that leads lower to the water. This is a very nice self-guided walk and to see how fast and high the water goes here. There are some great photo spots and bench to just enjoy the water flowing. Overall, the park wasn't busy and lots of space to move, the walkthrough is also nice and sturdy. A MUST to see during your visit. Best to go here using the bus as there is no parking lots around
google avatar

Eric D.

Yelp
Such a cool experience and absolutely worth the visit! The boardwalk is Ada accessible so all can enjoy the experience with an elevator taking you to the bottom. The views are amazingly cool of the Rapids and there are lots of signage and historical things to read. Worth the trip and definitely a fun thing to do in the falls!
google avatar

Lisa V.

Yelp
Beautiful walk, but a very short one. Amazing scenery and they rapids are incredible. You could do the walk in 15min easily. $16.50+tax.
google avatar

Katherine A.

Yelp
Best $14 I've ever spent in a day. If you're adventurous, spontaneous and a weekend lover, this is a place to visit!! On a Sunday gloomy afternoon, a friend and I made a 'rapid' decision to visit this new boardwalk in Niagara. I'm always looking for new hike trails, monuments and pretty much anything less than 3hrs from Toronto. You are taken down an elevator shaft that goes about 70m below (if I remember correctly), where you're taken to an up, close and personal view with Class 6 rapids - aka the most dangerous ones. You are then free to walk all along the boardwalk for as long as you please, take as many pictures as you can, and take in the beauty of the (dangerous) waters. It is definitely a family excursion, class trip, or simply a place to make a day out of! Despite the gloomy weather, it actually worked out perfectly in our favour!
google avatar

Mary V.

Yelp
This attraction had me breathless. The beautiful sights and sounds are to be see at least once in your lifetime. Racing rapids and serene forestry was a perfect way to spend our morning. My only complaint was that the walk was a LOT shorter then expected. But the sights are well worth the money. A must if in Niagara Falls. https://youtube.com/channel/UCFeaOetTkW7ZaAWl3fzGvDw
google avatar

Tony T.

Yelp
This is a self guided walk along Niagra River. The walk is fine. You take an elevator down to the river level and walk for a little bit along the river. There are posters along the river that tell you about the rapids and wildlife in the area. The walk is not too long and parking is along the street or across the street in a parking lot. The walk was OK and you can feel the power of the river in certain areas.
google avatar

Joy P.

Yelp
This is a must see in Niagara Falls! There is typically a line, as you go down an elevator to get to the rapids. The water is absolutely beautiful and amazingly powerful. It is self guided and not too busy. Part of the Adventure Pass through the parks. Right in the Wego bus route.
google avatar

Shalini G.

Yelp
This was our first excursion for the day... grabbed the We Go bus and got dropped off here. took an elevator down and headed through a cold tunnel (in the cliff slide) led out to a platform overlooking the rapids downstream from the falls. These are known to be the most dangerous rapids in the World!! wow! totally made me want to river raft...just not here!! took a nice walk down the boardwalk alongside the rapids...tons of informational signs along the way. there were 2 spots with stairs that led to lower platforms to get great views of the rapids... not the best event of the day but totally glad we did this.
google avatar

Chrissy C.

Yelp
We bought the Niagara Falls Pass that included the White Water Walk. It also luckily comes with a WeGo bus pass as it was a pretty long ride and an even further walk. It was a beautiful late October day when we went and the weather was just perfect for this walk. First you go down an elevator that takes you down 230 feet! My ears were popping as it was a somewhat fast ride. Then you walk down a tunnel that is also just over 230 feet and then you are finally at the water! the walkway is all wood and there are stairs up and down to get a closer look. I can see how that would be slick on a rain day, but the walkway is very well maintained. It's also pretty shaded. The water is very fast! I can't remember the details, but there are signs along the way to read about the water, the leaves, the wildlife and more. But you can really tell how strong the water is since it splashes up on some of the surfaces closer to the actual water. I for sure wouldn't want to fall in! There is a nice gift-shop and they had bathrooms! We didn't buy anything, but looked around while we waited on the next bus to come back. We were there about an hour, but we took our time since it was a really nice day.
google avatar

Nicholas L.

Yelp
It's a line to get on an elevator and walk around a board walk. About 1/4 Mile long with a couple large areas to take photos of the Rapids. Nothing particularly special about this except 1. Had the best info about the falls anywhere. Posters, plaques, and signs are up all over this attraction with really cool fun facts. 2. The Rapids are gorgeous. Beautiful green/blue water and they move so fast! And 3. It's less crowded than the other attractions. We didn't feel rushed here, even found a bench to sit on. I would do this one again.

Lisa P.

Yelp
Amazing views of the speed and power of the Niagara river rapids. Nice walk, not too long and easy for all ages.
google avatar

Terri H.

Yelp
This was my second favorite attraction in the Niagara Falls area and is on the Niagara Falls Parks Adventure Pass. The adventure begins in the gift shop as you stand in line to take the elevator down to the walk. The walk starts in a room with boards on the wall with very interesting facts. Some of the most interesting were about the people that have attempted to go over Niagara Falls in a barrel. I was surprised that there are people that survived. The rest of the information boards along the walk include information about the area including animals, plants, and people who have tried to navigate these rapids. The rapids are class 6 and very dangerous. There was a spot where you get your picture taken with the rapids in the background. It was the only photo package we purchased during our trip. We loved these photos because the photo was in front of rapids instead of a simulated background. The walk was easy and not too long. I highly recommend checking this out on any visits to Niagara Falls.
google avatar

R V.

Yelp
A beautifully intense showcase of how strong and forceful the power of nature can truly be. You descend for a few minutes down this elevator so you can be closer to the walkway. The entrance fee is about $13 or so, and once you exit the elevator, you head through a cold tunnel which leads you right into a balcony overlooking the rapids! The walk itself is not that long along the side of the whirpool, but it gives you a great view of it overall with some informational inscriptions written along the ledge for people to read. A nice little haven for nature lovers, and definitely a sweet backdrop for selfie taking.

Yelp
Our hotel concierge recommended a package of discounted attractions while visiting Niagara Falls. White Water Walk was one of the four attractions included in our Adventure Pass plus all day access to the WeGo transit system. Although not the most exciting of attractions, it does give you a first hand birds eye view of the enormous flow and speed of the Niagara River just downstream from the falls. You will take an elevator ride approximately 230 feet down t a tunnel that leads you to a covered observation deck at the base of the gorge. In front of you will be a huge wall of stone and one of the fastest flowing rivers you may ever witness. The color of the water is mesmerizing and looks more like a painting. This is clearly a beautiful but dangerous river as evident by its status as a Class VI rapids. Class III rapids require experienced paddling skills in order to maneuver your raft while Class VI and V require advanced or expert whitewater experience to successfully navigate. Class VI is considered the most dangerous of rapids, nearly impossible to maneuverable without great risk of serious injury or death. Well, that's all you need to tell someone like me! However, Niagara River has been home base for many daredevils over the years. Everyone from tightrope walkers and swimmers to barrel riders (Note: in my mind I immediately start talking like Smaug from Lord of the Rings when I wrote barrel rider). Some have been famous and some infamous. Along your walk you will have opportunities to read about the insanity of humans who try to defy such enormous odds by challenging one of mother natures greatest gifts. Most were killed or nearly killed in their attempt. So it was with great appreciation that my family and I viewed the power of this river from the safety of a 1,000 foot long wooden deck known simple as White Water Walk. FINAL THOUGHTS Our first visit to Niagara Falls was amazing! We loved everything about our visit minus all the walking... LOL! We all collapsed every night of our visit from exhaustion, but it was so worth it. White Water Walk may not be appreciated by everyone, but it was one of our favorite activities during our stay. Top favorites would be: 1) Visiting Goat Island and the American side of the falls (free) 2) Hornblower Niagara Cruises on the Canadian side 3) Journey Behind the Falls on the Canadian side 4) Views of the Falls from the Overlooks on the Canadian side (free) 5) White Water Walk on the Canadian side NOTE: They should add a second elevator. It was not very crowded when we visited, but on a busy day I would imagine the wait time to take the elevator back up would be annoying.

Yelp
We both thought this was super cool. I loved getting the close ups on the currents and waves. I can't believe people have tried to rafter it! We both loved seeing running rivers in nature like this. I got so many cool pictures and videos
google avatar

Yelp
If you are coming from the direction of Maid of the Mist.. PLEASE I STRONGLY URGE YOU, DO NOT WALK HERE! I was going to take the we go bus, but it was a quite a wait & my stupid fiance said, hey lets just walk there. BIG MISTAKE!!!! He never heard me curse so much. 2 WEGO buses passed us during the time frame of our stupid tiring walk. ALSO, when we got there, turned out there is FREE PARKING!!!!!!!!! ARGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!! The wait was a while to go down because we got stuck in line just when people hopped off the WEGO bus. BATHROOM is across the street!! Go first because there is no bathroom down below! There is only 1 elevator to get down, so that is why the wait time is a bit longer. Once you get to the rapids, it is a beauty. It is a nice little walk, probably max of 15 minutes. WEGO BUS SYSTEM SUPER CROWDED. IF YOU DRIVE, DRIVE HERE! DON'T GET STUCK WITH EVERYONE ELSE WHO DECIDED TO TAKE THE BUS. SUPER CROWDED. REMEMBER, DON'T WALK HERE unless you are a marathon runner and you like to walk/run miles regardless. I suffered just getting here, only for a 15 min. walk, and then had to get back to hotel on a bus that suffocated me.

Yelp
I've never been up close with Class VI rapids, so this will probably be the only time (by choice) that I'll ever see stuff like this. Unless you're an adrenaline junkie that loves white water rafting. You won't see any rafters on these waters though since it's the most dangerous classification out there. The White Water Walk came with my Adventure Pass for Niagara Falls. It's a bit out of the way, so your best bet is to take the WEGO buses that come with your pass. I guess I was expecting more from this walk (the brochure sounded a lot more exciting), but it was still pretty neat to see. It's tucked away, so you don't actually see it from street level. You have to take an old elevator down from within the storefront then walk a long dank tunnel. There's pretty neat history posted on the walls about thrillseekers back in the day who have survived or perished as they attempted to ride or swim these rapids. The rest of the tour is really a self-paced walk along a boardwalk. It's quite lovely. If you drive there, there's free parking which is nice since you have to pay for parking at all the other Falls attractions. I wasn't sure if this venue was one you'd get wet at, but in actuality, you'll stay dry (unless it's raining of course). If you're American, you're close enough to American cellphone towers that you'll actually get phone reception. Just remember to turn off data/roaming once you leave that area so you don't incur any charges.

Yelp
If you're in Niagara Falls, you definitely need to visit the White Water Walk! It's so gorgeous and honestly you're super up close! It's definitely worth the money, and I'd recommend it to everyone!

Yelp
This walk is so stunning! Definitely something you can't miss when coming to Niagara Falls!

Yelp
What an experience!!! I'm from the city and anytime I have the chance to enjoy nature I do. The water walk was so amazing. It's just a trail you walk while listening to the rapids. I love that sound. It fills my soul. The air was different. I took in all I could to take with me and am grateful I got to see such beauty.

Nora L.

Yelp
Nice place to visit for an hour or so. We visited there on a very hot sunny day so the cool breeze from the shades and rapids was very refreshing. The rapids were a sight to be seen. Quite expensive for the brief time we were there since we didn't have an adventure pass. Still enjoyed ourselves though.
google avatar

Idalia S.

Yelp
Lovely scenery and the walk was nice and easy for our little guy! Great photo opportunities too!
google avatar

Anthony I.

Yelp
This was absolutely enjoyable. The seclusion with nature while enjoying the rapids is beyond description. That is how wonderful it was. The view and sounds of nature, well i cant describe it. This is highly recommended and a "must do".
google avatar

Bridget N.

Yelp
It's a nice walk. We wouldn't have done it if we hadn't bought the Adventure Pass. Glad we did it! If you have problems walking its not for you. There is a look out before the walk but its not worth the cost if you don't do the walk.

Yelp
First time in Canada,we had a nice time with my family,we visit several places in just two days Niagara falls and other parts of the park.

Diane P.

Yelp
We had done this walk years ago and stopped by again on this visit. The walk is easy and only about 1/4 mile long. Views of the rapids are spectacular. The cost for entry is $17 and parking is available for a fee. We were taken down and up in an elevator but given no information about the walk or gorge. I feel the cost of parking combined with the entry fee is a bit high for a 30-45 minute experience.

Yelp
God made so many wonderful marvels of this world! This is just spectacular. I love Niagara Falls. The pure power of this place is just amazing.

Jenny S.

Yelp
This was the most ridiculous experience I ever had in Niagara Falls. While there are two lines to enter, and nobody tells you to purchase tickets upfront. This is in small little letters. Moreover, when we went to purchase tickets and we had two children with us. Nobody told us that their tickets include the drinks. I guess the most of those vouchers go into garbage without even realizing that they have free drinks. Moreover, when we had an issue, the manager was most unprofessional, and instead of resolving issue, she was escalating it. She offered us refund and go away. So if it is the Canadian way of running the business, which is not. But today, was either get the refund and leave, without let me make you happy. Very disappointed.

So like many others, I purchased the adventure pass where you get 3/4 attractions at a discounted rate, this being one of them. We were in Niagara for a few days so figured why not just go for it?! :) This attraction doesn't take long at all, I'd say probably 30-45 minutes top. you take an elevator down to a tunnel where you walk out onto a deck and you're right along the coast of the Niagara River. There's a wooden path that goes out about a quarter of a mile so it's a fairly short walk. Doesn't sound like much, and it honestly isn't BUT that being said, it was pretty crazy watching the Class VI rapids, the most dangerous rapids classification. There's signs along the ways talking about the falls, the colors of the water, etc. Back inside right before the tunnel on your way out, definitely read about all the daredevils, especially about Maude, one of the ladies who went in a barrel with her dog- I couldn't help but laugh at the last sentence, hopefully i'm not the only terrible person out there! So overall if you're just asking- should I give this a try? If you have all the time in the world, why not? Doesn't hurt to try it out. But if you're short on time or don't want to spend $13-15, i would pass on this.
