A quite remote location far away from any city, so pretty good for stargazing. Even in the summer it gets relatively cold on cloudless nights (45 degrees fahrenheit in our case). There's a generator running from 6 am to 10 pm that provides hot water and electricity (not in the tents). It loud enough to be annoying if you're trying to sleep. Breakfast and dinner are very expensive, so you're better off bringing your own food. There is a little store if you need something with reasonable prices.

Even if you can't get a reservation to stay at a a cool tent cabin you can... Drop by and have a nice buffet style breakfast at the restaurant. Ithe restraurant is very cozy, not overcrowded in a small setting with decent food. You can also try snagging a campsite, although this campsite isn't my favorite in Yosemite because of the way the campsites are so packed in, there's better places to tent camp in YouTube or the Valley.

We visited a White Wolf Lodge in 1954. Sounds like the same place. Wood stove started with a big spoon full of kerosene soaked sawdust. A single bare light bulb hanging from a big black wire out of the ceiling. Arrived in the dark and laughed ourselves silly at the disparity compared to our previous lodgings on the trip.

I really enjoyed staying here, it was comfortable sleeping in the tent, which had little cots as well as wood burners creating a beautiful warm atmosphere.
