Came to MBR to rent bikes today. Fantastic. The retreat is so fun! They've built their own trails all over the property. The bikes were great. The owner was so friendly. The access to a huge matrix of trails in the area was incredible. If I ever come back to Whitefish, I will be renting from here again! 5/5 recommend..

We had fun here and the amenities were great. They clearly love biking as they've built up mini trails all over the property, including a skills park. Seemed like a very family friendly place and the staff were easy-going.

We heard about this place a few years ago and decided we’d head down from Canada with our two kids under 10 to do family rides and adult rides. We camped for 4 nights. This place was quiet with a lot of tour divide groups staying and getting shuttles up to Banff. it was so quiet at night it was awesome. Met a guy from Washington, he said he’d stayed here 5 or 6 times and keeps coming back because it’s so quiet. We value that. The trails around the retreat are short but awesome. Could let our kids loose on some of them to get a before breakfast or before bed lap. Their network hooks into the whitefish trail so we did a great family loop out to Beaver Lake. The information from the staff at the office, the shuttle availability, The ability to ride to town and ride the other networks was awesome. We didn’t want to leave. It was an awesome place to set up shop for a family who rides bikes. We’ll be back next summer!

Love this place! We had a group of 4 who have never been mountain biking before. Being in Montana and feeling adventurous we looked into bike rentals near the glacier national park area. Came across this awesome place online. They have rentals and are right next to a plethora of mountain biking trails. Not only were they super helpful providing everything we’d need at an affordable day price, but also just the best people running the show there super friendly and inviting. After we finished our amazing day we unwinded with a beer and a comfy chair out in front of the office. Oh and you’ll be greeted by quite a few dogs on your way in which is always a bonus.

The lodge was nicely kept and full of fun things for our kids. We used it during the winter and enjoyed the sauna and fire place outside. the lodge was close to Whitefish and the Ski resort which is what we were there for. Friendly owners. Loved the location. Will definitely book again.

Awesome experience renting some snowshoes and going on a quick 3-hour jaunt down to Beaver Lake via the South Beaver Lake Trail. The trails were well groomed and the equipment was top-notch. The owners and family were very friendly and extremely helpful when it came to understanding the new terrain. My husband and I highly recommend taking your adventurous side the the Whitefish Bike Retreat for some exploration in nature and a great time! Thanks again!

This place is so amazing - easily one of my favorite new mountain biking destinations! The trails are very flowy and well maintained - both in the retreat and right outside on the Whitefish Trail. Not too steep in either direction, or technical, or rocky; the trail builders really did it right! The Retreat is a real gem too with plenty of day parking, camping access, and very affordable rates. The little general store has cold beers and friendly dogs so be sure to check that out too!

We absolutely loved this place. We stayed in the cabin and it was super nice. Has everything you need. Our dog was very welcomed by staff and other guests. The trails are nicely maintained and link right up to the Whitefish trail system. We will be back and hope to stay longer this time!

Yelp
We had an amazing experience with James and Nicole. Whitefish Bike Retreat runs an incredible place. They helped set us up with an outstanding mountain bike. The place is a little bit out-of-the-way, but really only about 15 minutes from downtown Whitefish. Everyone was kind and professional and really knowledgeable.

Yelp
Awesome place to stay, meet local and visiting mountain bikers and go ride! We camped in one the 6 campsites. There's a rack for your bikes, a fire ring, clean toilet and water available. There are also showers and a kitchen if you opt to use it. We did check out the lodge and the rooms and they were really nice. There's a fire pit for everyone to hang at every night, perfect if you want to learn about where to ride! Tons of maps and hang out space out of the summer best-known really creative bike art too. Thanks Cricket and staff for the map and trail beta, we had a great ride straight from the resort! Hope to see you again soon!
