Yelp
Food quality / price (value) rating 9. The atmosphere is "Montana Lodge", log cabin style. This restaurant is part of a public golf resort that consists of two 18 hole courses and this beautiful period specific (1930's) clubhouse style building. I had the Chicken Saltimbocca. All entrees include salad, freshly baked bread, and two sides. The presentation was beautiful, the food was prepared properly, and was very flavorful as this Chef doesn't skimp on the herbs and spices. The wife had the Jerk Spice Crusted Salmon with crispy fried onion frizzles, and stated that it was very good. We both chose the horseradish potato pancakes as one of our sides, and the Chef did not let us down here, very flavorful. We split a house made peppermint ice cream that was pretty good, and I also had a "Coffee Nudge" (called a "Keoke Coffee around our home area) which is made with brandy, Kahlua, coffee and whipped cream. It was a little (literally) disappointing as it was served in a tiny glass that held about 4 or 5 ounces maximum that included liquor, whipped cream, and coffee. Certainly not a generous serving size. Overall, the food was very good and the prices were reasonable for the quality. The service was very good, and the hostess was attentive. There are a few high quality paintings hanging in the dining area that are worth seeing.
