Loved this location! The rooms were very cozy, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The shared common areas (inside and on the front porch) were also cozy. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Perfect spot for relaxing on vacation. Looking forward to going back.

Google
Loved this beautiful place. The rooms were perfectly decorated and the location was close to town. Walkable but quiet. Lots of little spots on the porches or by the outdoor fires to sit for a spell and relax. Loved the breakfast and the afternoon chocolate chip cookies. We will definitely visit again.

This place is a must stay! Everyone here super nice and friendly we booked last minute on another site worried about my room because it gave no description and the staff at hotel upgraded us to a nicer bed when we arrived. The chef made a wonderful simple but elegant breakfast. Everything was absolutely amazing 💯 The bed was super comfortable and room was beautifully decorated. This old home has charm and is just an honor to get to stay at such a beautiful historic home. I wish it let me give more than a 5 ⭐️ because this place deserves it!

We walked in with no reservation to Whitehall. They had two room available, one with a bathroom down the hall, the other with a bathroom in the room. We opted for the latter. Unfortunately, it was a sleepless night. The room had (and needed) a humidifier. The front was broken off. The Apple TV didn’t work. Which we were fine not having. However, the bathroom and room smelled like urine. I even cleaned the bathroom with alcohol to lessen the smell. Nothing worked. We left the room as soon as we could in the morning. We paid $400 for less than 10 hours in a room that I’m hoping no one gets sick from. *it’s an old house. Things happen. We get it. But would never stay here again and highly recommend asking to see your room before you pay.

Busy street. Coffee and baked good available most of the day. Good parking.very Narrow stairs. Under 2 feet wide so... Plan on a steep haul upstairs. This is an adequate but Not exceptional choice . Breakfast is pretty average -eggs both days were meh. 15 minute walk into town. Traffic dies down at night but day time it is loud.

Beautiful, clean, warm & inviting! Fabulous old home converted to an inn long long ago - great history. So well done! Rooms are beautiful with great beds, linen, towels, soaps and shampoos. Breakfast room was awesome, breakfast itself was great & understand it is different every day. Staff is so nice!||Just a note....if you are not able to climb stairs be sure you ask them for a 1st floor room if possible. There is no elevator.

Many of our guests stayed at the Whitehall for our wedding in Camden last month. The Whitehall team was absolutely wonderful to work with in setting up our room block and especially in allowing us to use their space for a day-after lunch. Gwen and the whole team were so gracious with every detail - from reserving spaces for shuttle pickups and helping us clean up after our event. I highly recommend this team and their absolutely beautiful space! Our guests were super pleased with the rooms and location as well. Thanks again Whitehall team!!!

Google
We were very pleased with the accommodations! General Manager Gwen let us check in early and gave us a lovely room on the second floor in the tower for our anniversary. Super comfy bed, AC worked great and the bathroom was huge. Breakfasts were creative and delicious. We loved relaxing downstairs in the evening reading books and visiting with other guests. Would definitely return!

Yelp
We travel to New England yearly for the outdoorsy adventures and food. The foodie scene is out of this world fabulous (fresh seafood haven)! If you have never been you are missing out on adventure and serenity. I found this cozy beautiful B&B in Camden ME after doing abit of research. The town of Camden is historic and quaint, we loved every aspect of it. Whitehall didn't disappoint, it was very clean inside and out, the grounds are well kept. The breakfast- bar was great. Customer service was top notch thru out the facility. The soap and lotion in the bathroom are vegan, which is a plus. We enjoyed the gas firepits in the evening. Free parking was available on site. I will definitely be returning in the near future for another stay. Now I'm on a mission to stay at their other locations! Great experiences are everything, and they definitely have made this a memorable time. @glampedlife

Yelp
Second time staying at this warm, welcoming inn. We were here 5 years ago, the innkeeper Gwen is still running this well oiled enterprise. She runs a good ship. This is a super clean and upkept facility. The room rocked, with everything needed. The breakfast was superb. The staff was super. The lobby is spacious with numerous comfortable spots for sitting. The front porch is also a great sitting spot. Two outdoor fire pits were nice areas for nighttime socializing. And there is plenty of available parking. We loved this place when we were before, and we loved it just as much on this visit. We give it a top rating and definitely recommend this special find.

Yelp
Whitehall is a quaint B&B in Camden, ME. The town is just as quaint, and an interesting place to visit. Whitehall has a little over 30 rooms. The room we had was very small as expected. The bedding, linens and towels were 5/5. The soaps in the room were 6/5, wow. The hotel could use a small ice machine for the guests, as asking someone to get ice from the kitchen is inconvenient and uncomfortable. The rooms are modernized with lots of USB ports. The television offering in this hole is horrid. To see any television at all I had to enter my own log in and password to Amazon and or Netflix. I changed those passwords when I left. Duh... 21st century, my personal data should not be necessary. Breakfast was sparse in variety, and just ok in quality. Parking was nice.

Yelp
We were excited to stay here leading up to our visit to Maine in October, and everything about our stay at Whitehall exceeded our expectations. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the property is all at once beautiful, rich with history, but also with a cool modern flair. And the breakfasts are as creative and unique as you will ever experience. If you're coming to Camden, check here first. You will be glad you did.

Yelp
Stayed at Whitehall for 2 nights this summer. What a charming spot!! Staff is welcoming and more than helpful, my husband is handicapped and staff directed us to a parking space in the back that allowed for easy access for him without stairs. Breakfast is a small buffet with many choices and perfect. The interior is contemporary funky and most inviting. Will definitely come again!! Jane D

Yelp
Wonderful first experience at the Whitehall on a steamy July evening. The fire pits and string lights add a modern twist to this classic New England Inn. Despite the Pig and Poet bar no longer being there, this is bustling spot for guests who want to play shuffleboard, have a BYOB cocktail on the porch, roast s'mores over the firepit or simply enjoy downtown Camden knowing your a short walk away from your bed. The location is ideal for anyone looking to stay downtown without the noise and commotion. I've stayed at a few other Lark owned hotels and I'm always amazed how they are able to integrate the local feel into their modern art-deco decor. 10/10 would stay again

Tara S.

Yelp
It's a beautifully restored hotel from the Lark group. Amazing history (dates back to the late 1800s) and Edna St. Vincent Millay was "discovered" there. Beautiful grounds, rocking chairs on the porch, great places to just hang out in the lobby. All done with a great sense of style. No restaurant but-- There's a bar for guests open til 10, free coffee/tea all day, free breakfast (scones or croissants, quiche bites, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, granola), comfortable rooms. 10-minute walk to town through a beautiful neighborhood. The staff are friendly, responsive and welcoming. Couldn't recommend this place more!

Debrin S.

Yelp
Gorgeous modern yet classic newly renovated property. Beautiful & well thought out interior design. Take a tour if your in the area. Meticulously managed yet not heavy handed. I felt I didn't see staff buzzing about unless I had a question or a desire and yet, here they were. I felt safe, relaxed and very much at home. Very comfortable beds, soft linens, better toiletries, Apple TV, Apple iPhone iPad docs to play music, discrete mini fridge, heavy drapes, Love the wrap around porch which was perfect for crudités and wine. *very noisy AC unit in room 121.

Eric A.

Yelp
The front desk Abby was exceptional. The staff was just as good in being so helpful. First time ever in Maine. She recommended the places to go and eat . The rooms were very clean and comfortable. They serve beer and wine . Morning breakfast as well. Short walking distance to town . I am lazy so a few minute drive for me. When you come to Camden , this place is a sure bet. You won't be disappointed. Safe Travels

Yelp
Came for a quick overnight with our eight month old and had a great experience! Very kind staff, great Covid precautions and plenty of outdoor space for social distancing while enjoying the spot! A nice leisurely walk away from downtown. Recommend!

Tim T.

Yelp
We loved our stay of four nights in the Fall of 2019. The staff was helpful from the start, with Gwen able to recommend several food and drink options when we first arrived in Camden. The bed was very comfortable, and there were no problems with our room. It's obvious a lot of care goes into the daily breakfast, which despite being called a "small plates" meal, was always filling (and delicious!) and a great start to our day. We loved ending our evenings with a glass of wine outside by the fire table or in the rocking chairs on the porch. We will absolutely stay here again if we come back to Camden, and you should too!

Tim F.

Yelp
Excellent and super friendly staff, awesome room, breakfast was great!! Camden is great place to chill for a few days. Highly recommended, maybe add 1 more fire pit as there can be a queue on chilly nights!

Jane C.

Yelp
We had a wonderful two night stay here. The most comfortable bed and pillows I have ever slept on ! Lovely staff who were so accommodating and friendly . Decor was very modern with a classic historic feel. Covid restrictions didn't not hamper our experience and The staff was very In tuned to them. Would love to return next year.

Yelp
Memorial Day Weekend, 2017 at the Whitehall Inn in Camden, ME. First, let's talk staff...the best. We were greeted for a late check in by a wonderful front desk/night manager very friendly and helpful. The couple that manage the hotel are two great people that were kind and accommodating. The bartender, awesome dude from Philly who was there setting up the bar and the waitstaff professional, courteous and friendly. Second, The Whtehall is a historic inn close to the center of Camden (about a half a mile). You can definitely walk it but I'm lazy so a quick drive with plenty of parking to be found in town is the way to go. The decor of the inn is a little funky for my taste, retro red and green colors, Brady Bunch era furniture which doesn't fit the period of the hotel but I get what they were trying to do. Oh it's clean and somewhat comfortable but I would have stuck with the integrity of the period and went with a more classic design with neutral colors. Oh and our room. Clean, comfortable, spacious and the bed...uber comfortable. The same color pattern followed me to the room. We had the private bath while I know some of the other rooms had a shared hall bath. PS nice private outside patio in the back with a gas fire pit. Finally, the restaurant. I love when where I stay has a bar and restaurant right on the premises and there was The Pig and Poet. It is very nice and handsomely decorated with a good ambiance and a popping vibe. The food is good. I am more of a steak and potato kind of guy (boring, some might say) and this place is for the foodies with a more complex menu. So go enjoy you foodies. My order was under cooked and the staff and kitchen immediately took care of my needs and satisfied me completely. Would I go back...absolutely and looking forward to it.

Yelp
If it were possible to give more than 5 stars we would. We've been here for 4 days for a wedding/family reunion, and it's been absolutely magical in every way. They have been so kind, helpful and especially gracious with the amount of children here this weekend. I understand someone was upset about the removal of antique furniture, and I totally hear them, but it's just beautiful, and it's better to protect the antiques. With antiques everywhere that really just alienates families with children, and that anxiety that something could get damaged. It doesn't matter about the "stuff" in the place, the memories and the beautiful energy are still there.

Yelp
We just stumbled on this little gem on our trip to Camden. We ended up staying for the remainder of our vacation. Gwen, Tara and Abbey could not do enough for us to make our stay comfortable. The interior is very uplifting with modern designs blended into this historical inn.

Alexa A.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stayed here for my brothers wedding in Camden and it was such a lovely experience. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. They were very careful with everything pertaining to Covid and we were very thankful. The place is adorable, with unique, nautical decor and you can just see the history in the whole building. Our room was perfect and we slept great. We could also walk 5 mins down to the Main Street area which was extremely convenient! Great location, great staff, and great place!! Highly recommend!

Charles P.

Yelp
Excellent Customer Service! Whitehall hosted our daughter's wedding. Experienced exceptional customer service from everyone. Gwen, the manager was extremely helpful and even remembered names of guests. All the meals were excellent including the reception dinner. Highly recommend for any kind of special event or even a weekend getaway for 2.

Yelp
I stayed at Whitehall about 14 years ago and WOW, what an evolution. Where do I begin? I'll start by saying that the morning before we arrived at Whitehall, my now fiance had proposed to me. From the moment we pulled up, every single staff member already knew, greeted us with huge smiles and enthusiasm which made our stay an absolute delight. When we got to the room, it was covered in rose petals and the staff had left us a bottle of Prosecco and a lovely note welcoming us to the hotel. We had already traveled through Maine quite a bit and this room was by far the nicest we had stayed in. The bed was a full king size and was SUPER comfortable. Compared to the b&b's we had stayed in, this was truly the lap of luxury. The finishes in the room were beautiful and the bathroom was immaculately clean with stunning natural light and a clawfoot tub. Having seen the old Whitehall, this felt like a modern version of what used to be, but they didn't lose the old school charm. The lobby was warm and welcoming even though it's super funky and modern and we spent a lot of time relaxing on couches flipping through art books and drinking cocktails on the porch in the rocking chairs. We also frequented the onsite Pig + Poet restaurant, which we ate at both nights and each morning of our stay. There's really not that many great restaurants in Camden and this one was very much up to our Brooklyn standards. Innovative food with a cozy atmosphere. We ate our way through the entire menu and were very impressed. There was really no reason to leave the property and we didn't with the exception of going on a hike. It's a one stop shop and we will absolutely be back. Thank you Whitehall for making our engagement so special!! Can't wait to come back and visit you soon.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed at Whitehall for our anniversary a couple of weekends ago, and we absolutely loved it. There's a charm about Whitehall that settles around you, and manages to blend seamlessly with the town of Camden, its lush mountains, and that amazingly picturesque bay. From our room, we could see the dark blue-grey curve of water beyond the trees; we had enough of a view that we could catch glimpses of bright white sails passing by now and again. The multitude of windows let in so much natural light and, filtered through the fresh green leaves of the spring trees, it was well-matched with the greens and woods of the decor. At night, when the moon was full and the sky was clear, we could watch its arc across the window closest to our bed. Downstairs in the lobby, there were many places to sit and read or chat or share a glass of wine in front of an even greater number of beautiful windows. These seating areas were all designed to encourage a moment of peace with furniture and art respectful and celebratory of Maine's unique environment. There was a nice blend of industrial, modern, natural, and nautical. On one clear night, we spent some time sitting outside in front of the fire, watching the bay and the moon and the trees. That moment felt so perfect. We had breakfast every morning - Whitehall provides a nice selection of foods including delicious fresh-baked scones made in house. None of this would have been possible without Gwen, whose attention to detail, eagerness, and enthusiasm made this trip really quite magical for us. With just a handful of staff and a great deal of industriousness, she went above and beyond for all of her guests. Any time we needed something, she'd stop whatever she was doing to help. She asked us about our adventures in Maine when we returned every day, and her attentiveness and genuine interest made us feel like we were staying with an old friend. My husband and I were beyond impressed with her, with Whitehall, and with Camden. We can't wait to visit again!

Nancy W.

Yelp
The Whitehall Inn was a really great place to stay in Camden. It's well located and the Inn is so well run. Gwen and Mike and all of the staff were super friendly and made the experience even better. The Inn also has fire pit areas that you can use which was really great!

Paul. F.

Yelp
This was first trip to Maine and a family vacation. We cannot say enough nice things about this hotel and it's lovely staff. The hotel is turn of the century but beautifully renovated. If you are looking for a unique and absolutely charming b & b, I cannot recommend Whitehall more highly.

Danielle W.

Yelp
This was one of the best Bed and Breakfast establishments that I have ever experienced. The factors which motivated us to choose something a little bit different was because we have traveled so much back and forth to the Midwest and stayed at crummy hotels. We were yearning for the friendliness of the host which for us by far was an important factor, followed by easy access to other fun attractions, the site being the most appealing place in the region. The flowers around the property were just breath taking! You can walk ten minutes into town and there is a fabulous waterfall nearby restaurants and cool shopping. The friendly couple Billy & Andrea that ran the property were very different from what we had become accustomed to... they are both Chefs and beyond accommodating. They took the time to talk to us and were so friendly that they made you feel like you were staying at their home. I really appreciate all of the work that they put into making this a professional and outstanding atmosphere. The food is DELICIOUS! They had the most amazing breakfast buffet! I felt like I was at a spa. I really want to return next summer! Thank you.

Phil W.

Yelp
Wow! I did a lot of research about hotels in Maine and came up with an obvious choice, Whitehall. We haven't had a real vacation in years and I wanted to do it right, and boy were we happy with our stay. We have nothing but good things to say about Andrea, Billy and the staff at Whitehall! From the FREE breakfast and snacks (Rice Krispies treats and chocolate chip cookies) that were nothing short of awesome, to the colorful furniture and décor, to the beautifully appointed rooms! I took a 10-minute walk into town (Camden) each morning, scaled the mountainous terrain of the stairs multiple times every day, and returned home fit and totally rested. We are looking forward to our next stay in the Lark hotel group, especially as we have grown tired of mainstream hotel chains with their stale décor and rooms.

Marc M.

Yelp
A really nice place in a very good location. A nice alternative to B&Bs that are sometimes a little too small and can feel claustrophobic. Rooms were nice and comfortable, and the staff were helpful, although I didn't really push them much in terms of my needs. This being said, the hot water during peak shower time did not hold up. Also, the restaurant was really pricey-- not much on the menu that wasn't expensive. Also, breakfast doesn't start until 8; we had full days planned and couldn't even get coffee-- let alone anything to eat-- before then. And the iPad is not necessary... it's a potential $700 liability that I really didn't want.

Mark M.

Yelp
You are greeted with warm, welcoming service, and a surprise iPad loaded with suggestions for local entertainment, dining, nature options, and more. The decor is rustic, a mix of modern farmhouse chic. The rooms are very cute and clean. Fire pits out front and back were perfect for late fireside chats with friends. Blueberry pie with cinnamon ice cream was the perfect desert at the Pig and Poet! My party had a magical time at the Whitehall, and we would definitely return.

Grey A.

Yelp
We're big fans of boutique hotels, having enjoyed several from the Magnolias in Dallas and Denver, to the King Charles in Charleston, with a lot of Kimptons and various independents thrown in along the way. They offer a nice middle ground between the sterile, impersonal feel of high-end chain hotels and the "I feel like a house guest eating breakfast in your living room" vibe of bed and breakfasts. Accordingly, we were looking forward to staying at the Whitehall for 3 nights in early July. Whitehall nails it on virtually all counts. We very much enjoyed the decor which skillfully mixes contemporary with the classic elements of the original, New England inn. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Perhaps best were the various porches, patios, etc. where we felt comfortable sitting, reading, talking, and just sitting enjoying a beer from the bar. Having a very nice restaurant on-site rounded out the experience. The Pig & Poet offers an appropriately limited, yet varied menu, perfect ambiance, and excellent service. We'll be back and are looking forward to visiting other Lark hotels.

Diane R.

Yelp
This was our favorite "Old Maine" Hotel with charm, history and tradition everywhere. The new owners modernized and "upscaled" the place. They replaced antique furnishings with 21st Century sterility. A true disappointment for us. The rockers are still on the front porch so as we drive by on our yearly visit to Camden we can at least remember the place as it once was.

Richard L.

Yelp
My review is solely informative for movie buffs who like to visit filming locations. For Peyton Place fans who might be drawn to visit Whitehall beware that the inn's interior was updated a few years back and looks nothing the classic inn portrayed in the movie. With the modern makeover a corner of the inn was rightfully dedicated to a local poet who started here but sadly all the Peyton Place memorabilia was removed from the walls. Fortunately, an album tucked away in the book case contains photos from the movie and the exterior has changed little. One can picture the characters of Alison and Constance rocking on the porch (though the actors did so in a Hollywood studio). Although I did not stay or eat in the inn I gave Whitehall a 4 stars. The 4 stars does imply in this case "Yay I'm a fan" but rather were given to not unfairly lower the 3 and a half stars (at the date of this review) of paying guests.

Sean S.

Yelp
I celebrated my wedding reception at the Whitehall and couldn't have been more happy and impressed. The staff was incredibly helpful and the venue was beautiful. We also stayed a couple of nights at the Whitehall after our wedding and the hotel rooms were quiet and comfortable. The property overall is incredibly nice and a very short distance from Camden center. Thank you for making our wedding so much fun!

David C.

Yelp
We stayed here for a wedding and it was pure magic. They leave treats throughout the day in the welcome room like scones or fresh baked cookies. The beds were mind blowing- best sleep I've had in a long time. There was always help nearby in the form of Abby, Gwen, and Gwen's husband. The entire staff was friendly and warm. The grounds were lovely, we loved gathering around the fire pits for intimate conversations. It's a short walk into town- 10 minutes. I highly recommend staying here. The history of Edna St Vincent Millay staying here enriched the experience even further. The whole place is imbued with a poetic romanticism. I loved it and look forward to coming back one day.

Andrea S.

Yelp
Decor is just lovely, great refurbished rooms. The Inn is very old and noisy, I recommend earplugs to get a good night's sleep. Bed was amazingly comfortable. On a bad note, I complained on my second day that the shower was very slippery and asked for a shower mat. They said they don't have those. The next morning I slipped and fell in the tub bruising myself pretty badly and breaking the shower in the process. When I told them about it, they said oh don't worry about breaking the shower. They didn't seem very concerned with my wellbeing or safety. I was disappointed in that reaction and am just lucky I didn't crack my head open on the tub.

Michael D.

Yelp
Wonderful stately inn with modern interior design. Spacious, comfortable, and clean. Will definitely return and highly recommend to friends.

Chris S.

Yelp
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Whitehall. Everything from our cozy, clean room to the front porch rockers to the delicious breakfast was perfect. The staff was also extremely friendly. Further, they give you an iPad for your stay to get a better feel for the Camden area; this was a nice touch. Overall, the placehas character: a thoughtful mix of traditional and modern. My wife and I recommend it!

Buckles And Strap S.

Yelp
Nice decore good location. Low standard in staff and cleanliness for this price point. Dirty toilet bowls, moldy dragging shower curtain, accumulated guest garbage around the grounds, sticky dinning tables and lack of front desk presence and professionalism made our stay here less memorable.

Rachael C.

Yelp
Loooooved this hotel. Great decor. Tasty fresh baked treats every day at the front desk. One of the best burgers I've ever had!

Amy G.

Yelp
I loved this charming hotel. Updated modern B&B with amazing outdoor space. I sat by the fire with a glass of wine and it was wonderful. The staff was really helpful as well. It is an old inn, so the rooms are small and the bathroom was pretty tiny, but we didn't mind.

Alexandra L.

Yelp
A newly remodeled bed and breakfast just steps away from downtown Camden. A hundred year old tradition marries urban quirky chic! Rooms are on the smaller side, but offer complete privacy and are super comfortable. A new Pig and Poet restaurant is a big selling point, offering wonderful food in a welcoming environment. Great cocktails, wine list is spate, but on the par. The restaurant is a winner, love it!

Lynn C.

Yelp
We stayed at Whitehall on October 18th. Overall, I'm a big fan. It's attractive, both in look and feel, and very inviting. There are nice lounge areas downstairs and outside. The rooms are really attractive, and the beds and bedding are really comfortable. There are bathrobes in the rooms. It is a very nice option that is more contemporary than a lot of the other inns in Camden. I would definitely stay here again, and would look forward to the stay -- it's that kind of a relaxing, inviting place. A few things that could make the place better: they have Keurig coffee machines in each room but only provide low quality, Green Mountain coffee. For a "boutique" hotel, I'd expect better coffee. It would also be nice if breakfast was available before 8 am. The last item is more a factor of bad timing -- it was unseasonably cold this past weekend in Maine, and the bathroom in our room had no heat. You had to stand on a towel on the floor, the tiles were so cold. The building is an old inn which has never been open in the winter, and I'm sure the unseasonal coldness wasn't expected. While it didn't bother me or my husband, I could see people being upset by the very cold bathroom.

Natalie D.

Yelp
We absolutely LOVED everything about our stay at Whitehall. It was so great, that my (now) fiance decided to propose to me there! Despite any bias due to the engagement, Whitehall is fabulous for many reasons. It is beautiful and meticulously maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I found it to be an extremely relaxing and comfortable place to stay. There are so many cool places on the grounds to relax, read a book, enjoy a glass of wine or just hang out. I thought the interior decorating was great - so many cool and different pieces put together. Every aspect of breakfast was amazing and we loved enjoying our coffee on the front proch. The food was amazing - every dish was unique and had great flavor. The coffee was fabulous also - and I'm pretty picky about my coffee! Dinner was great at Pig & Poet and the drinks from the bar were worth every penny! They were actually very strong and not stingy at all with the liquor! I saw other posts complaining of small rooms and noise. We stayed in the double room with a bathroom and yes it was smaller than your average hotel room. However, it was great for us and the website gives the dimensions of the room, so we knew exactly what to expect and were very happy with it. Again, the decorating was awesome and the bed and linens were fabulous. Also, I did not find the traffic or music to be irritating or bothersome at all. I actually enjoyed being able to hear the music. It is an ideal location and maybe a 10 minute walk downtown. The only downfall was not having more time to spend there! Overall, we had an amazing stay at Whitehall and wish it was longer than 2 days! We will definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to the others!

Yelp
One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a hotel. The staff didn't have a clue about anything related to the hotel, including the managers. I had reserved a suite with a shower over three months in advance as I was traveling through Camden with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. The staff claimed to have no record of my room request and told me the room i had reserved wasn't available anymore. the manager then told me the room that she had suggested i book when we spoke didn't even exist at that hotel, and then one of her staffers corrected her to confirm that it did. After a lot of back and forth, there was no offer of a solution or any sort of accommodation for the "mix up" and the staff couldn't care less that I was there for my anniversary. The following day we had no hot water and were told that the restaurant would be serving bar snacks and gave us a menu to review. We then arrived back later that night for said bar snacks and happy hour to find out the only food available were nuts and olives. Their menu even said they served on Tuesdays so i am not sure what was going on. I had even called the hotel during the day to confirm they would be serving food and was told they were. all in all while this place looks cool, the service is awful, the staff don't know anything and more importantly don't care about anything. I would never go back to this hotel and am not likely to stay at any other hotel under this brand.

Yelp
came and stay here for our short weekend getaway. the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxing and cozy. it is exactly what I needed, to getaway from the city life and relax with wine and fire pits. it just recently got renovated and everything is brand new and clean. Love the environment, love the room. Even though the room was a bit on a smaller side but we think it is very cozy and had everything that we needed. The bed was large and comfy. The breakfast was very well plate and tasty in small portion so you get to sample a bit of everything. It is by far one of the best B&B experience I had. Will definitely come back for another weekend getaway and try Pig + Poet. the only thing I didn't like about this place was their pillows. they were too soft, doesn't really support my neck, and i felt like my face was wrap with pillow the whole night and felt a bit stuffy. hope they can improve on that. Overall, I would recommend this place to my family and friends.

Yelp
The music blasting through this hotel was the opposite of good or relaxing, it was some sort of harsh rock. Irritating, that should have been our first sign. We walked into the hotel to have a drink since it was once a Peyton Place gathering spot for the actors and actresses in the 50's, were we disappointed! First we walked into the front of the hotel and could not find anyone to ask about the bar area hours. The hotel is decorated in a strange way - not quite modern, not contemporary, more a mix of ... can't quite describe it. We were told the bar (The Pig and the Poet) opened at 4 but not a soul in it. The bartender virtually ignored us, and when we did finally order, he went on to clean his counters instead of serving us. SO weird. We felt like we walked into another dimension, so icy. We'll skip this place next time, and move on to establishments that actually welcome their guests. This is certainly not the New England hospitality we were shown throughout our vacation at other establishments.
