I have been going to the White House Bakery since I was a kid, so 50 plus years! I hadn’t been there for 14 years, and wasn’t surprised that it was just as I remembered, maybe not the aesthetics, as there have been some updates, but the food was delicious!!! Portions are generous, and prices are fair. As per usual, the cinnamon buns are definitely the highlight! I ordered Eggs Benedict which was fantastic. My son created his own omelette, my husband ordered the Breakfast Combo, and my daughter ordered the Breakfast Wrap, and they were all extremely happy with both the portion size and the taste! Then we shared cinnamon buns for dessert. Totally not needed, but enjoyed so much! If you have time for a leisurely breakfast/brunch/lunch, then I highly recommend you wait for a table. It will be worth it. If you are in a rush, then get in the take out line and grab a cinnamon bun to go. Dining service can be slow, but servers are friendly and very attentive! We can’t wait to go back again next summer!

The clubhouse is worth the drive. Real turkey a very filling, glad we shared. The cinnamon buns are another great reason to visit. We would normally come for breakfast which is excellent. The mountain breakfast is almost too much for a single person. Next time you're in Wasagaming grab a cinnamon bun or stay for a bite. You're in the middle of nature prices are going to a couple bucks more than the city but the service a quantity is worth it. We make sure to stop in every time we come to town.

The staff are super sweet and provide a warm atmosphere. Owner took the time to talk to us and made suggestions. My husband is a meat head and I am more vegetarian. The options are fantastic. Enjoyed everything I’ve had. Love that for breakfast you can add single items like pancakes, French toast, eggs, bacon, hemp, flax, fruit you name it! Make your own breakfast in essence. If you are vegetarian the vegetarian sandwich is amazing! I had on whole wheat. Has hummus, avocado, beets, cheese, lettuce, tomato and red onion. The cinnamon buns are super wonderful too! Coffee is tasty. I could go on! Definitely our favourite place to eat in clear lake <3

Really busy Bakery ❤️ i think you can make a reservation ahead of time. I visited around 10:45pm and it seemed they had a tables full. I order hot mocha and the original cinnamon bun.

Google
Very solid breakfast! Great value for your money, and definitely appreciate having multiple gluten-free options. I'm sure some would argue it's nothing "mind blowing", but they definitely serve a good, hearty breakfast that doesn't leave you feeling stuffed or like you'll be oozing grease from your pores the rest of the day. Great service also - attentive and friendly wait room staff. Will definitely be coming here for breakfasts when we're in the area again.

Meal was delicious tried there waffle and spicy chicken ranch wrap. Best onion rings I had after a long time. Cozy ambiance and friendly staff make it a wonderful spot to enjoy a meal or grab a treat while exploring the area.

Yum yum yum!!!! So much delicious food in this bakery that is a must visit. Their cinnamon buns are so good that photos were not taken!

Yelp
Solid breakfast spot and the line up shows you that. It's not fancy but it's exactly what you want from a breakfast place-hits the spot, is what it is and filling. Servers are doing their best. We sat on the patio and it was comfortable. Some confusion around patrons knowing what is the bakery/coffee line and eat in. Will of course come back.

Yelp
The food overall is good and homemade treats. The downside is that they use margarine on their toast you can opt for butter on the side and if you order there, pancakes, French toast or cinnamon bun dipped in egg they give you a poor quality fructose syrup versus homemade syrup or preferably maple syrup. The home fries are generally deep fried unless you ask for the grits on the grill, The coffee is really good and the service is fair

Yelp
I ordered the turkey, cranberry and swiss burger ... excellent. Patty was a little thin, fries were great. They have a bakery inside as well, I had a piece of puff wheat square which was baked perfectly.

Yelp
I know this is basically common knowledge at this point but the cinnamon rolls are amazing! Highly recommend the cream cheese frosting ones -- they're also much better warmed up. I had the veggie burger as my main with a side of coleslaw. I've tried a lot of veggie burgers and a lot of coleslaw, and I can say that both of them were some of the best I've gotten from a restaurant before. My boyfriend had chicken fingers and they have this reaaally yummy honey mustard/dill dipping sauce. It's also worth mentioning that the staff is super great (: Great place to check out while in Clear Lake!!

Yelp
The menu is extensive and we only had coffee and one item each so it's hard to give a true review of this place without having tried too much. Love that they have a patio with service and that it's conveniently located near the beach. The prices are comparable to city prices which is surprising for a tourist spot. Portions seem to be decent. The latte/espresso isn't too special and tastes like it's made out of a machine and not with real espresso. It's not the worst, but it's better to drive to Poor Michael's up the road in Onanole if you're looking for a real cup of java.

Yelp
This is the go to place for breakfast in Wasagaming. They function as a bakery (usually a long line) and as a seated (inside and out) restaurant. So if you want table service and not just a coffee and baked goods, make sure you are not standing in line for no reason. Around town, this place is famous for their cinnamon buns. They have them in a number of flavours like: maple, cream cheese and pecan, and they are going through them like a Manitoba storm, so they are usually warm and always fresh. If you are really hungry (hungover?) the two largest meals are the Mountain Man (3 eggs, toast, bunch of pig, hasbrowns and pancakes) and the Breakfast Combo (2 eggs, pig parts, toast and potatoes covered in ham and veg). The Mountain Man is so large that it is served on two plates, thank you pancake gods! You can get the hash browns served as deep fried cubes or the grated/shredded kind. The Eggs Benedict is forgettable and the drip coffee is as good as the Americano so don't bother trying to impress anyone. The wait staff are great which is not always easy when you run a seasonal business and the food comes out of the kitchen promptly, even when busy. They serve lunch stuff as well.

Yelp
Cinnamon buns have gone downhill in the past couple of years, we've gone back a few times to give them a chance - in case we just got a bad batch, but each time they have been really dry, and one time they were even burnt. We won't be back.

Yelp
Great bakery; very good breakfast value and absolutely superb staff - unbelievable how they manage in this bustling environment!

Yelp
3.5 Stars: excellent food and service! A little pricey but expected inside a Park/Tourist setting. Get in line before 8:00am or expect to wait!

Yelp
I remember this little bakery cafe from the last time we visited Wasagaming. And on this trip we stopped in daily. The cinnamon buns are large and in charge and at any given time they offer 5 variations to choose from. Definitely the place to go if you want to indulge. They serve up Starbucks coffee and a large selection of hot and cold espresso beverages. Oddly enough, being Starbucks coffee drinkers and knowing the taste, the coffee here didn't impress, but it was drinkable. The bakery counter offers all kinds of goodies beyond cinnamon buns. Tried a few other items like the brownie explosions and while they looked amazing and had good flavour, they literally melted in your hand making it difficult to hold onto and eat. Enjoyed lunch here one day as well. Decent food, no complaints, good service. A favourite place to visit during the summer months when they are open.

Yelp
Breakfast was very good. It is pricey but quality and quantity is good. Service was excellent. Beware there is often lineups for the bakery while there is room in the restaurant.

Tiffany H.

Yelp
Delicious breakfast! Fresh quality ingredients make for amazing breakfasts of eggs or pancakes. The pull here is of course the cinnamon buns -try the maple version, you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
About the only thing I ever eat there is the cinnamon buns... and they are fantastic!!!! The first day I get to Clear Lake I have a toasted cinnamon bun for breakfast. Yum!
