Fresh produce and organic options make shopping here a treat. I like the well-organized aisles and friendly staff ready to help. Prices are high, but quality is solid. Great for quick meals or healthy groceries in Highland Park and Dallas. It is also a convenient place to return items to Amazon.

I’m giving 2 stars because I love Whole Foods but I hate this locations service, I kindly ask the pizza guy how long for a pizza? He kinda grunted and said, 30 minutes while taking a whole pizza out of the flaming oven. The take and bake are over there…This was mid afternoon, no rush. I was hoping to take a pizza home to my boys. Not that Id expect him to give me that one coming out, but I noticed all the slices were pretty much full, so I said ok no problem, I’ll just get 3 individuals. He seemed so bothered. As I’m preparing individual boxes to take pizza home to my family, I was having trouble with the box closure, so I put the serving utensil down, he abruptly grabbed it, and pushed it under the tray. I said, excuse me I’m not quite finished. It’s like you’re a bother. I’m sure not everyone is that way but this is the 2nd time he’s treated me poorly. Especially this one guy. I just expect a certain level of service, or just human kindness. Whole Foods should have service training they could learn a thing or two from Chick Filet!

I visited this location and the experience stayed strong from start to finish. The premade sandwiches tasted fresh and well balanced. The oatmeal cookies had a great texture and solid flavor. The sea salt and cider vinegar chips delivered a sharp, clean bite. The store looked organized and easy to move through. Staff stayed attentive and quick with help. The neighborhood felt upscale and safe. Parking stayed simple. This spot delivers quality food and a smooth visit every time. Five stars.

I told myself I wouldn’t come back to this Whole Foods location because the bakery was such a bad experience — but it is just convenient sometimes when you’re in the area, so I’m here today getting flowers. That’s said, the people at the bakery were so rude to me last week. I called because I was wanted to buy the 8-inch Chantilly cake for a family birthday. The guy on the phone said they had four left, so I told him I wanted to buy it and pick it up later that day + get a personalized message added to the top. He told me very abruptly, “We don’t hold cakes.” I made it clear that I wasn’t trying to get them to hold it for me, that I wanted to buy the cake and pick it up later. He repeated — maybe even more rudely this time — that they don’t do that. He then proceeded to let me know that I could come by later, and if there were any left that I could buy one then. I was kind of in shock— at the tone, rudeness, and at the inability to buy this cake at Whole Foods. I think I said something like, “Aren’t you guys owned by Amazon, shouldn’t I be able to buy it before I get there?”And then I said something about needing to get with the 21st-century. After getting off the phone, I vented my frustration to one of my family members — to which they responded, “Oh, you can buy the cake online through the Amazon website/app and then pick it up later.” “Wha? Why didn’t the bakery guy tell me that?” So I opened up my app, and sure enough I was able to buy the cake online. Why he didn’t bother to tell me that, I do not understand. I went by to pick up the cake later that day, and the experience got even worse. I walked up to the bakery and let them know I ordered a cake online and was here to pick it up. After murmuring to each other, a guy told me he would go to the back to check on it. He came back out a couple minutes later and told me I was in the wrong place. I said, “What do you mean I’m in the wrong place? I ordered it online from this Whole Foods Lemmon location.” He said, “You have to go ALL the way over there, to the front of the store where they hold online orders. We don’t hold those here.” So my intention was to go to the front of the store to get the cake, and I told him I would be back so that they could put the message on the top. But in the end, I decided I didn’t want to risk going back to those rude bakery folks for the personalized icing message because I was afraid they might spit on my cake. Hard to believe I had this kind of experience with Whole Foods. Hard to believe the bakery guy didn’t tell me I could buy the cake online. If I can help it, I will never give my to this Whole Foods on Loma Alto again, at least not the bakery.

I’m very disappointed with the pricing tactics. The flowers were normally $15, but right before Valentine’s Day the price was increased to $38. Then it was advertised as an $8 discount for Prime customers — and immediately after Valentine’s Day, the price dropped with a 50% discount. This feels misleading and manipulative. Please just be transparent and keep consistent pricing instead of using tactics like this. Customers deserve honesty.

Nothing too special about the products or their quality. Prices are definitely considerably higher than other grocery stores even for organic products. Staff friendly and very knowledgeable. Amazon returns drop off is conveniently located inside the store and it is all contactless.

I love this Whole Foods because it’s right off the tollway and has a super convenient Amazon return center on one end of the building. You can walk straight to the desk without fighting through the grocery crowd. The employees at the Amazon desk are always friendly and eager to help with returns instead of sending you to the kiosk. I always feel like I won when my returns are handled quickly and I can turn around and get snacks all in less than 15 minutes !

I appreciate that their rotisserie chickens are cooked fully, unlike other Whole Food locations. No one wants to consume bloody rotisserie chicken.

Wow! I politely asked if it was OK if I left my cart when leaving self checkout. The snarky young man said, " I mean **scoffs** NO! but I'll take it for you anyways! " I responded with, "well, it's better than the middle of the parking lot" as I walked away. He immediately turns to the coworker next to him and proceeds to say some things I don't want to put on here. I've never had this sort of experience in my life. Most people just say, yes, or something to the effect. He was very rude and clearly NOT joking. I was planning on just saying thank you. Have a great day! On my way out. I'm shocked.

Recently moved back to the immediately area. I went in for 5 specific basic items....out of 4 of them. Went back a week later....went in for 5 specific basic items....out of 4 of them....not going back in another week...too bad because I've always been a Whole Foods guy...maybe the location

This store is pretty congested, not well-stocked at times, and it reeks of fish. They have got to get some better ventilation!! When I'm pregnant I can't even go in there because the smell is so overwhelming and nauseating!

Amazon has taken over Whole Foods, but it isn't a bad thing. It's like, Whole Foods but make it on sale some of the time, and sell more organic food than not (prices are higher but so is the quality.) I do my regular grocery shopping here and have no regrets. If you like fresh flowers, their whole bouquet is only like $9 and it's artfully crafted by someone in store.

I get so tired of going to the salad bar and seeing all the empty slots because it is so poorly maintained. Most Whole Foods have beautiful salad bars that are well maintained, but not this one. The salad bar is run by a mean, old woman that gets pissed off and rude when you ask why they are out of something at the bar. Complained to whoever was supposedly acting manager with no improvement! Very disappointed with their customer service.

This is still the Whole Foods I frequent most. Living close by, I drop in periodically on weekdays to pick up fresh fruits, vegetables, and, dairy products. Since their renovation, expansive is their self serve hot foods and salad section. Unappetizing though it is for me to watch customers using their bare hands in picking and tasting the unsupervised displays. Service is also scarce these days. No longer do I find the warmth of a neighborhood store. Being so, I am in and out of this supermarket quickly now. Cheers!

The prepared foods section is scary. Terrible quality to the point where I would be concerned about food poisoning. Everything is more expensive now and lacking in quality. What a great combo. No napkins. Empty service station in the seating area. Overpriced and disappointing.

I like that they have an elaborate salad bar! So many options from cold salad to sides to choose from. It's so easy to go in and out for lunch and build a salad. They have some samples throughout the store, mainly in produce. Their bakery always smells so good & REMEMBER! They have a pizza bar that you can grab a slice or two and head out. Another plus is, Amazon Prime customers get a discount! Get your app ready at check out! Only issue is the parking lot can get hectic during rush lunch because it's a smaller parking lot.

Standard Whole Foods but wanted to compliment how seriously they are taking the Covid-19 situation. There is a police officer at the front to make sure everyone has a mask on, carts are clearly sanitized, Lysol wipes are available at the front, and there is a glass divider between cash register and customers. Huge compliments to this Whole Foods for being clean and taking the appropriate precautions.

Love this place. Lots of samples. Even have a bar where you can get wines and amazing beer. My fav new one is the Peticolas Great Scot - a medium bodied malt with low bitterness and a nutty flavor. Pint for $5.

I've been a loyal customer at this location for about 12 years until now. Since the Amazon acquisition, I've noticed some changes: reduced quality in some products, a reduction of specialty items, less knowledgeable staff, more pushback when returning defective merchandise, etc. I recommend shopping at HEB Central Market, as they tend to have many of the specialty items Amazon has phased out. They tend to have a more flexible return policy and more knowledgeable staff. A few examples of the dozens of products I can no longer find here: 1. Spelt flower 2. Fresh seasonings like lemon grass 3. Green onions (often) 4. Mexican staples like Tapatío Examples of reduced quality: 1. Generic hummus recipe changed 2. Hot items that perish in less than 48 hours. Every time I've shopped here in the past 1-2 years, I've been unable to find at least one of the items. Today, I couldn't find half of them. Hence me deciding to spend time writing this review...

I love Whole Foods! This location definitely takes Covid-19 precautions seriously. They have an officer at the front door making sure that all customers are wearing masks. Their workers all have masks on. And they have plexiglass at each cash register to limit contact. I'm glad businesses like WF are taking full precautions!

This whole foods is a bit smaller than the one I use in California but still nice. The one gem I found on this trip is their Everything Bagels in the bakery section. OMG these things are great! Just the right amount of salt, seasoning and chewiness. They don't carry Starbucks coffee which I get but it bugs me so I dropped a star.

At 12:30 the salad bar lettuce is empty. When I simply asked the check out person for help, she just stared at me and walked away. With horrible communication and customer service, I won't be back.

This is one of the best Whole Foods around due to a number of different areas in the store. Over time I have had the blessing to chat several times with the head chef. I have quizzed him several times about some of his recipes and a number of his dishes. It is hard to believe that some of these dishes that may sit out for a bit, most always seem fresh and very tasty. On Sunday mornings you may want to taste their eggs or their migas (such great southwest flavor!) The bakery always has outstanding looking items! I try to avoid the area, but they do such great looking products. I will admit, when my Dad comes to town, he will pick up some cookies from there, and I have tried a couple of those chocolate chip cookies. Those cookies must be deadly, because you just can't just have one little nimble. The cakes and cupcakes look so pretty and detailed, the bakers are so detailed and with perfection they must have steady hands! The flowers and plants area is above par! The area is well stocked with lots of great looking, healthy cut flowers. The colors of all of their different flowers are amazing, so if you are trying to make them work for a certain room, it can happen. One suggestion is two take several pics with different lighting, show them to the flower crew and let them help design a batch for you, they have a fantastic eye! They also have on hand, flowers already put together as well! On another note, I love how they have the flowers right there as you enter, I'm always amazed and it most always makes me smile! For the Produce, as you enter on the right side of the store, has to be one of the best produce areas that I have ever seen! The veggies and fruits are placed and stacked like works of art, very pleasing to the eye! I love that they have little sample trays out. Getting to taste how fresh some of these produce items are makes my basket always heaver! As for the fish area, these fish mongers carry some of the freshest tasting and looking fish around. One secret that you may not know, but they can select you fish and have them cook it for you as well! chat with them and tell them what you have in mind or what sides your serving and let them suggest for you a certain fish. It just got real, when they are helping you, and highly recommend to work with these folks! My favorites are the salmon, shrimp and if you know me, I'm a sucker for the trout! The bins of spices, herbs, nuts and other treats are just too fun not to pass up! Great selections and well stocked. Do not forget to pick up some freshly ground nuts for your favorite nut butter, a fantastic treat! The meat area has some really quality butchers that work here! One of the best times that I love is when the Hatch green chili is stormed by this store. The butchers will make some of the best burger patties around. They will also come up with other Hatch green chili treats as also the rest of the full store! The vitamin area usually maintained by some highly knowledgable folks. I have received some very good directions here in this area! Now mind you, prices might be a touch high, but the quality and freshness is not bad. They have an area where you can get your wine or craft beer in a glass while you shop if you would like. They constantly change out and improve on bringing in some of the best local craft beers. They also have beer tastings and pairing events, just check out their website. One of the top characteristics of this store is the customer service! The Customer service here is top notch! They are very focused on doing the right thing and doing it in style. They have a high rate of returning customers. The place is always busy from a number of the reasons from above, but the great customer service is outstanding. Now for the bad note, which Whole Foods can not do much about, is the attitude of the local customers. A number of them kind of run you over attitude, and it is not a major issue, but is a small issue with this location. As a shareholder in Amazon, it pains me to say this, but being bought by Amazon was the worst thing to ever happen to Whole Foods. Not only has their ability (or desire) to keep the shelves fully stocked greatly diminished, but their food handling SOPs have gone out the window. Simply put, perishable foods are not being properly held at the correct temperatures or under the right conditions. This is especially true in the meat market, which I have all but given up on. How do I know this to be the case? Because foods that I get from WF go bad before they can be eaten -- and it's not my fridge. Not only do I come straight home from shopping there and put my foods away, but my fridge is kept cold and I have a thermometer in there to monitor the temp. Also, I do not have a problem with other foods from, say, Tom Thumb or Central Market, going bad. I once had to return some hummus that had gotten moldy within 24 hours without ever being opened, and on three -- yes, three -- separate occasions I have had to discard fresh meat because it was off and completely inedible. As someone who has worked in the food service industry and as a butcher, I know a thing or two about food handling and sanitation (not to mention that I'm a germaphobe and consistent hand washer). I usually portion out any meat I've purchased the very same day and freeze it. I then thaw it when I'm ready to cook it. The problem is not with me or how I handle fresh foods, and as I said above, I have no problems with foods purchased elsewhere. The problem resides exclusively with perishable foods I purchase from this Whole Foods location. The only possible factor here must be in how they are storing and handling perishable foods, which is obviously not up to standards. I may visit this store from time to time to purchase a few random pantry items, but they've lost my business for fresh foods.

Wow! I haven't received such bad and rude treatment from an unhappy group of employees since... the last time I went to Sam's Club. Every single employee looked like a battered dog. And of course they will pass that energy onto the customers. And you would believe that a place where they are charging you three times the price when compared to other places would include good customer service. My wife and I just looked at each other while the cashier one by one slam dunked the bottles of water we purchased. Why was he so angry, I don't know. Once upon a time I would've asked for a manager. But I'm getting old for this sh(Beep!)t. So we just laughed it off and went our way.

Never in all my years of loving WFM have I been to one I couldn't wait to leave. I'm Not sure who is in changer at this one but they definitely haven't gotten the memo regarding WFM standards. I'll never come back to this location.

I usually don't spend my lunch hour at the grocery store,but whole foods is more than a grocery store. They offer a great lunch option with their salad bar which you can fill your box and pay $8.99/lb. They also offer fresh pizza anda plethora of cooked dishes such as baked chicken, buffalo wings, or shrimp skewers. The bakery has fresh baked cookies and a variety of treats to suffice your sweet tooth. If you are in need to do groceries, they have fresh and delicious produce and usually always have samples. This is also a great spot if you are in search of organic or gluten free items as they have aisles filled with healthy options. If your are a amazon prime member be sure to scan your amazon app to receive 10% off any yellow tag and additional discounts depending on location. The amazon app is updated weekly so you can look ahead for any specials whole foods has that you can take advantage of. The employees are always friendly and more than willing to assist finding or locating any item.

Service is no longer a priority for anyone working here. No one seems to know how generate a QR code from the website any longer. "You need the app" no one knows when or why it changed or was made harder to access for the website. Just so hard to get any decent service in these stores now.

I like this location of Whole Foods because it's near the gym that I attend. The staff here is always very nice and friendly. Unfortunately, since it's in highland park, there are some rude customers who don't know how to say "excuse me" when they bump into you, or drive their basket (on purpose) over your foot - lack of home training. You will simply have to ignore them. Other than that, this whole foods is pretty much like the others. I shop for what's on sale. If you don't, then you'll end up giving away your "whole paycheck." My favorite spot is the salad bar! I also like the deli options and sometimes I'll buy a pizza on Thursdays since that is the bargain day for pizza. Happy shopping!

I am shocked with theses negative reviews about this location because I shop there regularly. I've never had anyone be rude to me and everything is fresh. I frequent this location 2-5 times per week for items as needed. I love fresh and seldom freeze items. I have had to return items there but I have had to at other places too. These items don't have antibiotics or preservatives. It's a rarity that this occurs, but WF will refund you. I will stay loyal with WF to buy quality foods. I love this store!

Unimpressed. Prices are not competitive. Customer service is lacking. Cashiers and those in charge of samples have lots of room for growth. In particular, offering a pleasant and welcoming experience for every single customer. I recommend learning from Trader Joes and Costco.

This is my go to Whole Foods, but the cashiers here are hit and miss. Sometimes I'll get great ones who will acknowledge you and actually talk, and then sometimes I'll get some where the only words you hear are, "You want your receipt?" The pre-made foods are always great and the produce is always fresh, just the customer service drops my rating. Update: Has anyone else noticed the brown bags they use always smell like cow manure?! I thought I stepped in dog poop when I was driving home!

I don't like this Whole Foods. It's too small. Small in space, and even small in variety of goods. There's nothing special that I can see in this location. And there's not even a local flair to its design like the one in Lakewood, Uptown, or even the one in Plano. They need to give this one a redo, especially since it's an inner-city Whole Foods.

Carts are no longer cleaned between uses. You have to bring your own wipes to clean the cart. Moving to self-checkout lanes but they only accept card payment. So annoying to stand in a line to purchase two gallons of water (90 cents) and pay with cash. It is Whole Foods though, so I should know better than to expect customer service.

Thank you to Whole Foods bakery for making me the most beautiful birthday cake ever. My husband called asking for them to make it "look like a garden" and they did such an amazing job! Not to mention it tasted amazing. I was literally eating this cake for three days straight!

I come here every Monday and I've never had bad service or bought bad food. People here complain that is over priced, if you're looking for cheap I'd recommend Walmart :) If you're looking for quality this is your store. It's a small WF, but that's what I like about it. Once you go so often everyone in the entire store knows you and knows you by name. The produce are always fresh and neatly arranged the seafood and meat department have friendly staff they are very nice and helpful. The meat is nice and fresh. Anyways I'm a big fan of this location and I'm surprised people have had a bad experience here.

Yep. It is that Amazon near you. Gag. They are taking away the wine and coffee BAR which is a huge loss in community and friendliness. Everything is getting a lot more commercial and strangely less commercial. They are doing things that appear to make apparent sense, but don't make money. The solution is to grow lateral into Small niches with brand support.

This location is excellent. It exceeds the standard by which all locations should be held. Everyone that works there is so consistently warm and welcoming. I'm not the type of person that usually takes the time to write a review of anything, honestly... but the great energy and natural warmth that poured out of cashier Tracey absolutely deserves commendation. I went into this Whole Foods to grab a quick dinner (also delicious by the way), not necessarily in the best mood, having had a long day at work, but to my surprise, all of my negativity was shed when checking out with Tracey. She made me feel welcome and important, and left a significant positive impact on day. I could keep going on about how delightful this experience was, but I've got more food to eat. I'd be happy to elaborate further on how much right this entire team is doing, if anyone from Whole Foods cares to reach out. I love grocery shopping at Whole Foods. Even though I always feel like I am amongst some of the most boogie people ever while shopping here, that still doesn't stop me. There are two really great things that I love most about this location. One of which is how fresh the seafood is. They never fail me on giving me the most fresh wild shrimp and fish anyone could ask for. I also really love going to pick up Chantilly cakes in their bakery! I wish their parking lot wasn't such a cluster mess. Other than that, I can't get enough of shopping here!

This is genuinely one of the worst Whole Foods I've ever been to. And I am a huge fan and customer of Whole Foods, but this just happens to be the closest store to me and it's really unfortunate. I've been here many times and I am consistently disappointed by the service and selection in their hot bar and prepared foods section. The negatives: They are always understaffed. It takes forever to get a coffee, there is one person making pizzas, slicing meats/cheese and it takes way longer than it should to get anything that isn't self serve. The hot bar is not only always a mess, but it is left empty and the selection is terrible. There are never any creative healthy options, it's beans, rice, potatoes and some form of chicken and fish. If you call the store for anything they will have you on hold and never come back and answer. This has happened on multiple occasions when we've tried to call to see if items are in stock, this was not just a one off instance. They some how consistently run out of items. They are out of whole wheat pizza crust, out of roasted veggies, out of chai tea at the coffee bar?? How does this consistently happen?? Their coffee bar was closed at 10am on a Sunday morning because they didn't have staff there. HOW? How is this store so poorly managed that these things happen? For a fairly crowded Whole Foods that gets decent business, they should really work on improving their service and selection.

This Whole Foods offers classic examples of stereotypically worst-in-class shopping experiences that this chain has rightfully earned itself over the years... Angry, man-hating lesbians working on the sales floor who give surly looks to customers: yup. To the rude, douchebag "Urban Outfitters assistant manager rejects" (complete with the ironic "cooler than you" attitudes) working at the checkouts: Don't roll your eyes and sigh at me when you ask if I need a bag or a receipt and I reply with a "Yes, please." Let's be realistic: these employees wouldn't be acting so superior if they were doing the same mindless job a mile away and were wearing a blue polo shirts that said "Kroger" on them. Nothing against Whole Foods, I know it's a homegrown Texas-based chain that we all tend to be very proud of, but their locations at Park Lane and Uptown (McKinney Ave) both have much friendlier and much more efficient service. For what you spend here, it's sad that the customer service is so subpar, not only to their other area locations, but even to the Tom Thumb, Kroger, and Sun Fresh locations nearby where the service is as bad (if those three aren't marginally better) than this Whole Foods location provides.

I see what's going on here... Every store is the same yet different in subtle ways. This location does not have breakfast tacos anymore, but even when they did they would qualify for the worlds smallest breakfast taco. Some locations do an iced toddy concoction but sadly they are hard to find. What you will find here is a bare bones salad bar, helpful staff, and all the rich sugar mamas wearing their lulu lemon garb. It's endearing, yet consistent so I'll give you that. Here's a small high five to a small store.

Not sure why this As Whole Foods has such lower ratings than others, but maybe it's because the people who work at this location are mean. Plus, the quality of product is consistently poor, wait times are long and the people are mean. Whoops, I already said that the people are mean, I probably don't need to repeat that.

After moving back to Dallas after 12 years I was looking forward to shopping at this Whole Foods as I could walk to it and shopped for years before moving away. I was excited to go and experience the Whole Food experience. Disappointment is the nicest thing I can say, Employees in multiple departments were surly, down right rude and dismissive. Looking back I should have put the groceries back and left but tried to see the visit thru. Living in NYC I shopped Whole Foods in Time Warner and it was always a positive experience, Dallas has great grocery stores so my business will be moved to anywhere but Whole Foods, do yourself a favor and find a store where your business will be welcomed, the only item that was up to their former standards was their grain bread from the bakery.

Avoid this store at all costs. Today I was chased out of the store over a 5 gallon water container. I told the cashier and she charged me for the wrong item. The customer service employee chased me out of the store telling me I didn't pay for my items as onlookers were around. I've NEVER been more embarrassed in my life then being accused for stealing items I paid for.

We went to buy a cake to have a congratulatory message written on it. The guy behind the counter represented poor customer service for an almost 40 man. First I asked are there any cakes in back that don't have those shavings on it, because the shavings took up so much room and our message was not big, but it had Congratulations (two names) and he acted like he wasn't sure if it would fit, and we weren't sure, either. He began to act very flustered when we asked him about writing messages on a cake, and deciding on one and we had only been there a minute. There was no pen to write up our order, so he said he would do it by memory. So when we got the cake, the name was misspelled, which is why we wanted to write out the message. The name on the cake is not a hard name and it's common but lots of people do think it's an E when it's an A in the name. My husband pointed out the error. The clerk got super frustrated and forcefully threw the cake in the trash in a huff and walked to the bakery in back, saying behind his shoulder that he would get another cake. What? I thought there were no more cakes??? Anyway, then he found a pen and said, Okay, so the message is HAPPY BIRTHDAY....no no no, it's a Congratulations cake. Evidently he got another person to write out the message on the cake, because there miraculously appeared a cake with no shavings and with the message we wanted. The cake was delicious, but the clerk just couldn't get anything right with us and represented very poor attitude for a Whole Foods employee.

I went to Whole Foods bakery because I want to buy a plain round white cake to decorate for my son. I need it tomorrow. They have these beautiful white tiered cakes with fresh fruit on top. I asked if I could order one with no fruit for tomorrow. "The soonest we could do that is for Wednesday." Ummmm. Why? This is a grocery store bakery...not some exclusive bakery. I bet they make 10 of that same cake tomorrow. How hard is it to not put fruit on it? Bye. Headed to anywhere else.

This is the second Whole Foods I go to regularly. This one is my husbands favorite because it appears to have more fresh foods. Also this appears to be the only Whole Foods that carries sprouted almonds in the area.. and that's a big deal for my hubby, who eats them everyday. Also, I love their Vegan Buffalo Chicken Salad at the bar there. And this store often carries the Black Forrest Rye bread when the other doesn't. Unfortunately this one doesn't have a smoothie bar, which for me is a big factor in giving 4 stars. All in all.. between Uptown and Highland Park locations .. all my grocery needs are met (except Pineapples .. I gotta go to Kroger for those because precut pineapples at Whole Food prices are cray cray... and pineapple is one of the clean 15 .. so I don't care that they aren't organic.

Ugh...I hate to alter my review for this location since it had been my only Whole Foods store for over a year, but with more stores opening up it's becoming painfully clear this one just doesn't cut it. I can never be sure if they're going to have the same products I get eat trip or if I'm going to have to go to another Whole Foods location for just one item. Today (and many others) I went to get my week's grocery's only to find out the things I needed they didn't have because they were "seasonal" (candy like things) or just didn't have anymore. It's so frustrating when you go grocery shopping at multiple stores just because they won't stock enough of they're typical products. Sorry guys, but I had to lower you down a star or two because this happens to me everytime I go here. :(

Whole foods as a whole is always 5 stars. They always have the largest selection of organic and natural goodies, period! :) I go to this one a lot because it's close to my work. I grab lunch and groceries for work. It's not my favorite one because it doesn't have a smoothie/juicing bar and it is tad smaller than most of the other ones I go to. I also go to the Park Lane, Addison, or Preston location. With the new Uptown location opening up I'm hoping that'll be my new favorite spot until then....

Three-and-a-half stars would be more accurate, but this is my neighborhood grocery store. So I gotta bump it up a bit. I'm here several times a week because of its convenient location and because it beats places like Albertson's or Kroger's. This Whole Foods location has a good selection of organic produce, organic meats, a pretty good selection of various organic products (i.e., cereal, dairy, eggs, snacks, etc.), good meat and dairy alternatives, a good selection of natural personal-use products (i.e., lotions, shampoo, etc.), and a good salad bar. In sum, it has a little bit of everything I normally consume as a health-conscious consumer. But the small size of this store also means there are limitations. For instance, the tea selection's not that great... at least if you're looking for loose-leaf tea, which is better for you than the stuff in tea bags. Ever since starting a loose-leaf tea habit, I've had to go elsewhere for my tea. And I'd hate to compare, but the bakery at Central Market and Eatzi's is better than the bakery at this Whole Foods. And well... after experiencing the gargantuan salad bar at the flagship Whole Foods on Park Lane, the one at the Lomo Alto location will never look the same. . Still, this Whole Foods covers all of my basic needs (with the one exception of the tea) and it's my neighborhood store. :) It's got heart and soul, and I love it like you would a dog with a missing limb.

Not the best Whole Foods I've ever been to, but adequate. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Product variety is in line with other Whole Foods Markets and the seasonal selection is impressive (ie Kings cakes in January). Vegetables are fresh. The prepared food section (hot and cold buffet bars and sandwich area, pizza area, etc.) could be better. Less options than at some other locations I've been to. This location had smaller specialty sections, so of course, there is less the store can offer. Skin care area also is smaller and doesn't feature as much as other locations. Additionally, the sitting area is smaller, too. I feel like there is a theme with this review of mine. Most everything is smaller than in some other locations. The store itself, however, is adequate for a "Whole Foods" experience in terms of finding most aisle products you'd find in bigger locations.

Went here the Saturday before Mother's Day..... They had a great sale on vegetables..... Which is great until you realize why they are on sale.... Every single vegetable I picked up and looked at was disgusting. The broccoli had brown gooey gunk on it from the sprinklers. The asparagus stalks were mushy. The packed green beans had brown crap all over it. Seriously, never want to shop another vegetable from this Whole Foods again. The red snapper we got ended up being terribly fishy after it was cooked (didn't have an overpowering fishy smell raw).

Wow, this store looks like a tornado hit it. Every isle is under stocked..from the produce section, nut milks, deli foods, wine, bread area, loose herbs...these are all the areas I shop regularly across several locations in various cities; I'm ashamed the worst looking whole foods Ive ever been into is in my own city...but honestly, I claim the Addison location. Whole Foods, dont forget that you charge premium prices and consumers expect a premium experience. Tuesday Jan 5 at 8:30pm

100% satisfaction? Not even close. I visited this WFM location in search of an organic rotisserie chicken. They had two! Awesome, I thought. That is until I went to grab them and realized both had gaping cracks in the packaging. When I asked the deli associate if they had others, he said no but offered to repackage the ones that had been sitting there with the cracks? No thanks. Maybe they've been compromised. It seems rather unsanitary. I wonder how frequently they've done that

Maybe I came in on a bad night, but I was not impressed. Forgive me for holding Whole Foods to a certain standard. Their salad bar and ready-made food entrees were not appetizing to me. In fact, a complete stranger made a comment to me about his distaste for the salad bar presentation. Clearly, we are on the same page. I hope they step it up.

Typical Whole Foods. Employees are hardly attentive, hardly any deals. Even for Prime members. Don't see why people like this place. I will only be going back to return unwanted Amazon purchases from now on.
