I need a sugar momma so I can shop at this Whole Food on the reg!
This new store at 91st and Yale is extremely well done. Ample parking, very manageable, more space than the old Whole Foods on Brookside, and crazy prepared foods!
I sauntered on into Whole Foods for lunch today with a colleague. Yes, it's a perfect place to go for a casual lunch meeting. There is a juice bar, a ginormous salad bar, a sushi bar, a sandwich counter, lots of other prepared foods (like Chicken Tikka Masala and naan), warm cookies, thousands of drinks, and even a sit down restaurant!
I was really surprised how many people were in there for lunch. There are about 15 tables inside, just after the checkout, and there are another 10 tables outside. Like all other Whole Foods, you can do the salad bar and pay by weight. I mean, it's really not cheap. But it is healthy, fresh, and quick.
One thing you have to love about dining at Whole Foods: the beautiful people. Obviously fit, healthy people will be drawn to a fit, healthy store but when at Whole Foods, you can forget that Oklahoma is the 6th most obese state in the nation.
This Whole Foods is easy to park at, easy to get in and out of, and just puts a smile on your face. Now you have to be careful not to shop here too much because you will legitimately go broke if you get too addicted. That's the only reason it's a 4 star venue.
