Whortleberry Tearoom

My wife and I had lunch here 26th September and were so impressed with the high quality of food (All Home Made To Order), service and styling of the tea room, added to that classical music playing too. In a perfect spot with Porlock's car park a short distance away. On recommendation from Shaun I had their speciality Whortleberry Cake, which was so good, I bought a jar of Whortleberry Jam. We will return in 2026 and highly recommend this wonderful tea room

Hot chocolate and a scone, cup of tea and a slice of cake for the wife. Proper traditional tea room. The owners were very friendly. Top nosh.

What a find! Stopped in for tea and cake and was not disappointed! Cakes and scones were delicious, lovely tea and coffee. Looked like a great range of sarnies so am only sorry we'd not gone for lunch! Friendly staff and very patient with our party of seven! Went to Whortleberry Tearoom first time travelling from South West based on Google reviews and it did not disappoint. The food particularly the scones were delicious and the tea and coffee flavourful, I ordered decaf Americano. The owners very polite and attentive.

We called in for cream tea's on our way home. Absolutely beautiful scones, warm and so tasty. 2 adults and 3 teenagers, we all loved every single bit of our visit. The owners were welcoming, the atmosphere was nice, the drinks and the food faultless. We all spotted the homemade cakes on display too which looked gorgeous x

One of my favourite tearooms. A wonderful selection of homemade cakes. We opted for the homemade soup. It was absolutely delicious. A cosy, traditional tearoom with lovely owners.

My husband and I visited on a Tuesday afternoon at 3.50 pm. The lovely owner explained that they shut at 4 pm and we expected to be turned away, but he said we were welcome to have tea/coffee and cake in the garden. There was a gorgeous array of cakes and scones to choose from and the garden was really pretty. This was our second visit here and I would not hesitate to return.
