The boat was ready to go when we arrived. The boat is in great shape, clean, has cooler, cushions, navigation, sound system, etc. The team greeted us on arrival, explained the boat details and helped with loading and departure. We've discussed the navigation options and they gave us great tips on where to anchor for lunch, what to see, where not to go (rocks, choppy water, etc.). On return, the marina has two fuel stations which helps. One of them was backed up and we went to the second one which had no line. The last 100' to the dock is very narrow and one of the team members joined us and took over the navigation to dock. On arrival we had a brief and pleasant discussion about our travel with the owner. Overall, it was a very great experience. I highly recommend to rent boats from this place. The quality of the equipment is impeccable. In addition, the rental place offers boating lessons.

We rent Catalina Capri 22 for half a day. Customer service is very great! Captain David is a great guy, and Rob is a great guy, too. He will explain to you all that you need to know before leaving the dock. My friend and I had a great time sailing and return within no issues! Definitely will come back rent sailing or boat with them again. Highly recommend using their service!

We took the Safe Power Boating two day class here. Captain Paul is an AMAZING teacher. He covered so much material in a short amount of time but kept it entertaining and fun. The on water part was the best. Highly recommend.

Great boats. Good price. Took a seafox commander 228 out Friday of Labor Day. Had 150hrs on it. Basically brand new. This isn't a trash rental place. They clearly take care of the boats. Not going to find a 15hp on a row boat here. Real boats. Stayed in Newport and it's 20 min away(totally worth it). We did half day and were able to go by cliff walk and many coves. Background - live in nyc and boat jersey shore (mainly my center console). I'd like to think I know what I'm talking about.

This place is wonderful for a top notch boating experience! They provide classes and private lessons on boats they rent as well as your own ! My captain took me out for 3 hours and taught me docking and some high speed turns. She was patient and encouraging and really helped my confidence! I can't wait to rent one of their boats and go boating!

Best service! Owner is professional, friendly, and walks you through every step from what is available on the boat, to routes, to best practice and more. Boat was in excellent condition. Everything was prompt, from start to finish. Makes you want to return again and again. Would recommend to anyone without a doubt. First rental experience and this made me want to continue on the journey!

Great overall experience! Very helpful staff from phone call to check in to orientation. We rented the Sea Hunt Edge - a brand new boat with all the latest technology. Beautiful boat - really worked well for us for our half day rental. We have boating experience, but were not familiar with the area waters. The Narragansett Bay and surrounding areas are easy to navigate for those with boating experience. We explored the area and chose Potters Cove to drop anchor, have lunch, and go for a swim. Even ventured over to Newport Harbor. Well worth the extra few bucks to get the Sea Hunt. The GPS mapping and depth finder helped with my confidence as we navigated unfamiliar waters. Boat could more than comfortably hold about 8 people. We had 4 adults and 2 small dogs. Cost for the 4 hour rental is about what you would pay for 4 or 5 people to rent scooters on Block Island for 3 hours - for us, we would take this boat adventure any day! They have other boats at lower price points. So something for any group size and budget.

Rented boats my whole life and never had a better experience than yesterday. Warmly welcomed by the owner as soon as we opened the car door. Turns out the boat was only a week old and beautiful. The boat had a built in cooler, fresh water shower, and on board bathroom, fishing rod holders, center console, ladder for swimming, plenty of room for the 6 of us, and not just that it was a great ride in rough water. The owner gave us the safety briefing in good fashion. More often than not those briefings can be painful, but this was short and sweet. I would strongly recommend Wickford Boat Rentals.

Great fleet great boats great staff. One of the only places you can rent boats like that in the area. We looked all around the area for similar rental places and this is the only place we found. The operator of the business is very nice and informative.

The boats are as clean and well-maintained as what you would find on a showroom floor. My friends and family planned a trip out for my 35th birthday, David and his crew were great. You can take the boat out yourself or hire someone to captain for you, we took the captain. Good times great choice - I recommend Wickford Boat Rentals

This place is a fraud. I bought a sweetjack deal for half off. Called in June and booked a reservation for 8 people- 8 hours on a charter boat. The day before our reservation, I called them to ask what time we should arrive. He told us that the boat was out for 4 days. I was furious. These reservation were done months in advance. Some of our friends had taken time off from jobs to do this. The captain said he had too much going on with his mother. NOT MY PROBLEM! He said Kathreen (the scheduler) would contact me to reschedule. Mind you, I NEVER got a call from them telling me my reservation was CANCELLED. THIS IS BAD BUSINESS!!! I called Katherine myself and explained that I had a reservation and Dave the Captain is telling me it needs to be rescheduled. She said he got someone who paid FULL price for the trip so therefore I got BUMPED!!! NEVER WILL I DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU!!!!!
