Wieners of Waterton

We ordered the local smokie with a gluten-free bun, and the bun was outstanding! I didn’t expect a gluten-free bun to be so chewy yet easy to eat. The meat was juicy, and all the toppings were fresh. The portion size was great. The raspberry lemonade was delicious and not overly sweet. We also had sweet potato fries with curry ketchup for dipping. I would have appreciated it if the fries were crispier and the sauce less salty. Overall, it’s definitely worth a visit!

What a fun local place. I had the Smokey dog that’s made locally and added a bunch of different toppings because there’s probably 25 things to choose from! Really good flavor and hugely delicious. They make their own on premises. buns and they are fantastic.

(My parents actually went in to order, so i don’t know what it’s like on the inside!) The hotdog that i got was the Nathan 1/4 something dog and it was SO YUMMY! There was a really good amount of veggies, that were coated in this delicious sour, tangy and refreshing coleslaw sauce that paired amazingly with the sweet and savoury hot dog! there was also a pickle and it was so yummy too! the fries in my opinion were SO SALTY they could give you liver failure 😭 but other than that; i loved my meal! would recommend if you stop by waterton

When I asked my coworker who is from Waterton what I should do when I was visiting he didn’t recommend a hike, he didn’t recommend the boat ride, his first words were go to Wieners of Waterton and get a local dog with all the fixings and a homemade raspberry lemonade . He wasn’t wrong, everyone loved this spot and to this day we are still talking about it.

Pretty good hot dogs. Sweet potato fries absolutely delicious. Hot and fresh! And seating outside was perfect with the views of the mountains.

Ate lunch at Wieners of Waterton on August 28, 2025. They have one veggie hot dog option called the Anti-Dog and they also have a gluten free bun! The dog is made of falafel and had hummus and tahini. I added pickled red onions and dill pickle. I also ordered the regular fries with spicy mayo. This was my favourite restaurant meal in Waterton! Everything tasted AMAZING and the falafel dog was so unique. I also loved their vanilla and red rooibos kombucha (Steep Peak - made locally in Crowsnest Pass). There is outdoor seating at picnic tables beside the restaurant. Would definitely eat here again!

Best bang for your buck in Waterton! If you are here on a budget, this is definitely the best place to grab a bite. The menu is not big, but the hotdogs and the lemonade was just amazing! There's a bit of a line everytime, but the staff was able to get the orders fast.

Sausage? Where! It was ALL bun. Sauces? Stretching pennies. Holy thinned out. Everywhere’s stingy, yet they charge like it’s a feast. Can’t believe I wasted my time (or money). Never coming back. Who's giving these amazing reviews? Skip!!
