A Culinary Gem in Malta.
As a chef with years of experience and a palate that’s seen it all, I rarely find myself truly impressed by a dining experience but Wigi’s Kitchen in Malta did just that.
The staff were attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable without pretension, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. One standout touch was the presentation of the day’s fresh meat and fish at the table.
The bone marrow starter was, without exaggeration, the best I’ve ever had and that’s saying something coming from someone who’s tasted this dish countless times. The tuna sashimi was equally impressive: fresh, vibrant, and delicately balanced.
The chateaubriand was cooked to absolute perfection. It’s rare to find meat treated with such respect and finesse.
The Argentinian Malbec was a flawless pairing and complementing the richness of the meal beautifully.
Whether you’re a seasoned foodie or simply someone who appreciates exceptional food and service, this place will leave you wishing you could try everything the menu has to offer. A must-visit destination for anyone in Malta.
