A Culinary Gem in Malta. As a chef with years of experience and a palate that’s seen it all, I rarely find myself truly impressed by a dining experience but Wigi’s Kitchen in Malta did just that. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable without pretension, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. One standout touch was the presentation of the day’s fresh meat and fish at the table. The bone marrow starter was, without exaggeration, the best I’ve ever had and that’s saying something coming from someone who’s tasted this dish countless times. The tuna sashimi was equally impressive: fresh, vibrant, and delicately balanced. The chateaubriand was cooked to absolute perfection. It’s rare to find meat treated with such respect and finesse. The Argentinian Malbec was a flawless pairing and complementing the richness of the meal beautifully. Whether you’re a seasoned foodie or simply someone who appreciates exceptional food and service, this place will leave you wishing you could try everything the menu has to offer. A must-visit destination for anyone in Malta.

By some margin this was the best restaurant we ate in during our holiday in Malta. If you're thinking of going here (and you definitely should) be sure to book in advance. It's very popular and for good reasons. The food really is excellent. Service is friendly attentive and professional. Wine selection is very good and not stupidly pricey. The view over the bay is very nice, particularly at night. The restaurant itself is on the first floor and accessed by a small door and staircase next to the bar/restaurant downstairs. Once you are seated and have your menus, the staff will bring out trays of fresh meat and fish that are on the menu, so that you can see what you'd be getting and make a more informed choice. We were impressed by the care and attention taken in preparing the food and this was confirmed as soon as we started eating it! This is a great place. It's not cheap, but it's definitely worth every penny. The other reviews are not wrong, so book, go and enjoy.

This was my first visit to this restaurant, but it certainly will not be my last. The food was exceptionally delicious and cooked to perfection. The risotto was divine, and the meat was equally delightful. While it is not an inexpensive restaurant, it is undoubtedly worth experiencing. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was wonderful, offering a lovely view of Balluta Bay.

My advice is book. We were very lucky to get a table as we hadn’t booked but lots of walk ins didn’t get one. The food was delicious, my tuna sashimi was fresh and very tasty. My husbands prawn ravioli was full of flavour and the pasta perfectly cooked. Our steaks were full of flavour. And there’s a great wine selection

They even showed us the meat and fish beforehand, which made it extra special. And the food… simply delicious! One of the best dining experiences ever – I would highly recommend it to anyone!”

Food is really amazing, special mention for the Tarte Tatin (starter) and the Pistachio Veal (main course). Service was great, thank you Lucio ! We will definitely come back and recommend it to our friends.

Everything at Wigi’s Kitchen was fantastic! The meat was tender and tasty, the portion sizes were generous, and the staff was wonderful. The waiter’s recommendations were spot-on and made the meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

We went to this restaurant based on a recommendation. We ordered beef tartare and calamari as starters, steaks for the main course, and desserts at the end (chocolate cake and apple crumble with ice cream). Everything—literally everything—was delicious and full of flavor. We highly recommend this place to everyone and note that it’s best to book a table in advance, but it’s absolutely worth it.
