I don’t know why this is listed as a hotel on Google, but it is a first-rate concert hall. Excellent acoustics, world-class performers, comfortable seating, and beautiful architecture make this a phenomenal place to attend a concert. The U35 Scheme is a brilliant idea and makes classical music of this calibre accessible. One of the best places in London to hear musicians at their finest.

The acoustics in this hall is amazing. The picture shows the view from the very last row of the balcony seats on the left side. Watched Stella Cole’s concert. Even at the very back you can still hear everything and see everything (even if it’s tiny), it’s a great place to enjoy a performance.

I didn't use the hotel but attended for a concert. What A Fabulous Evening at WIGMORE Hall... Easy to get to, easy to find, wonderful helpful staff, clean facilities and reasonably priced refreshments. Attended to see Abel Selaocoe... Intimate venue, very apt for such an amazing, beautiful performance... Bravo!! 👏🏾

Google
Been there for a music concert and found it great place. Beautiful interiors, and exceptionally the light changes during the concert as the sun sets due to the large glass roof. Staff was e tr extra super cool and helpful. Really enjoyed classic music.

I went to Wigmore Hall to listen to Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 2 and No. 3, for the first time live, along with some modern pieces. The performance was decent, but unfortunately, they inserted the modern works within Bach concertos — between its internal sections — which, for me, broke the continuity and didn’t quite work. Nonetheless the pieces were all beautiful.

The best natural acoustic possible. Love this live music experience. Go!

A London concert hall of renown (not a hotel as Google Guides seems to think), and with damn near perfect acoustic. The seating is not for the tall (despite the benefits of improved nutrition it's still a small person's world and few concessions are made for persons of altitude). However, the ability to endure cramp is directly proportional to the quality of the performance. In this case, Goldberg Variations without a break and left us keen for more. Bloody lovely.

Yelp
A nice little concert hall, great for classical music and a casual Chillax night! If you are under 35 there are often special deals as where for just £5 a ticket plus online booking fee! Bargain!

Yelp
Wigmore Hall is an outstanding venue for classical music performances. Seating is comfortable and the acoustics are excellent. There are a restaurant and bar on the premises if you want to dine or enjoy drinks before the concert. Ticket prices vary but we have paid as little as £12 for a performance.

Yelp
Much as I love the majesty and volume of orchestras, my favourite genre of classical music is probably chamber music. I like the cleaner sound and the ability to tease out and really hear each of the parts separately and more clearly Located just off Oxford Street, Wigmore is a lovely classical music venue specialising in chamber music. It has a lovely intimate feel to it and is close to the main tourist areas for meals before or after the concert. Over the years, I've heard some great soloists as well as chamber groups perform everything from Schubert to Debussy to Mahler. This year, they're hosting the International Song Competition. They also broadcast live on BBC3 once a week if you wanted to get a flavour of the venue and artists playing there before actually attending an event

Yelp
A Sunday morning coffee concert @ Wigmore, is low key, nourishing, yet often packed with like-minded chamber music lovers. It reminds me Derek Walcott's lines `'Give wine... Give back your heart to itself, to the stranger who has loved you..." Bumping into old friends and sharing sherry together (part of the coffee concerts perks :) is sweet. I took time to appreciate the Cupola, a small, dome-like structure, on top of the front building. The central figure is the Soul of Music. LHS is a musician playing in a trance, seeking inspiration from beyond; RHS is a seated composer, transcribing music onto a scroll. My appreciation of the striving of humanity after the elusiveness of music just prepared us for the genuine performance to come. The seats are far from comfortable yet the acoustic design draws all the attention. Beyond the Sunday morning coffee concerts, Wigmore has a variety series, i.e. London Pianoforte, Song recitals, BBC lunch time concerts. I also went on some young up risers' debut and listened to some international groups making their marks. Thanks for NG's intro. It's old in design and new in spirit :)

Yelp
What a very nice hall ! It has got great acoustics, and you feel somehow like in a fancy church :) Apparently, ticket prices sell here for much cheaper than at the Albert Hall... To be visited for sure !!!

Yelp
This is a brilliant venue that is famous for its classical music and jazz concerts. A concert held here is always a good one. I have gone here on numerous occasions, and have never been disappointed once. They also have many events and concerts aimed at young people and families. There is also a fine restaurant and bar that is open daily. Check website for details on upcoming events.

Yelp
Beautiful venue, excellent sound quality: classical music lovers should go at least once for the experience.

Yelp
What I love about Wigmore Hall is how intimate it feels. The music that it specialises, Chamber music, excels in a venue like this. The reliefs on the walls are Art Deco, though the seating upholstery is a bit dated now. Performance prices start from £10. The bar/restaurant downstairs is a bit pricey, but a nice option if you so desire.

Yelp
My grandparents have been going to Wigmore Hall nearly every Sunday morning for years to listen to the live classical concerts there, and they are always full of praise. There also have a good restaurant so that you can enjoy a light lunch after the performance.

Yelp
Such a lovely place to hear chamber music. All the seats are good and so are the acoustics. Notwithstanding the neighbourhood, this place is unpretentious. The music really takes centre stage. On the night I was there, not only was the programme world class but I would also say that the audience was also very sophisticated.

Yelp
Perfect for a lazy sunday morning - concerts start at 11:30am, finish by 12:45 and cost just £10 per ticket. You get a free coffee, tea, juice or sherry for after the performance included in that price too. Very popular with older people.
