I liked the commitment of the owners with the environment not serving conchs or lobsters, and the service was extremely polite and nice.
The local was a classic Caribbean wood porch/terrace with open kitchen facing the beach, decorated with old buoys hanging from the ceiling.
We had mac & cheese with jalapeños and shrimps and the beef tenderloin. The mac & cheese we nothing extraordinary but really expensive, when we added the shrimps we had no idea how much those 4 pieces will increment the cost. The tenderloin was too much done, I had asked for rare done (more into less done if possible) but got it still into the medium-well done spectrum which seems to be a pattern in restaurants oriented to tourists. I did not asked for another piece as I wanted to dine at the same time as my family, so I still eat it. Meat was good, just a pity the cook did not take into consideration my request.
Overall experience was good but we paid for 2x Mac&cheese and 1 tenderloin + 2 mojitos, 1 coke, 1 water the equivalent to 86 USD, tip not included, which I found too pricey for what we had (added pics of plates for reference).
The best the service and the restaurant culture as mentioned in the beginning.
