Yelp
This is another one of those reviews that I have to start off with some background...
I tried "clubbing" before... I didn't like it. So, when a decently large group (eight) of my friends were going out to celebrate one of them turning 21. I was hesitant at first, but said: "what the heck" and went out with them.
We went to this club, arriving somewhere around 10-ish. There was virtually no wait to get in, and $10 cover charge is very reasonable. There was a good number of people doing karaoke on the ground floor. The second floor had a decent number of people, but was not yet crowded.
Around this time, the place was of a good temperature, and was pretty clean (as not a lot of drinks had been spilled yet). There is a nice area up there to lounge a bit, and it could easily fit the 9 of us that were there. However, I would like slightly more room to lounge about.
Drinks were priced cheaper than I expected, if you are planning to get a few drinks, it definitely won't break the bank, and may even be cheaper than some other downtown places. Bar service was good, they got the drinks to people very fast, even when it was quite crowded.
(Tip: bring cash, that way it's quicker and easier to pay for drinks, and you don't have to sign and write in tips on a somewhat wet surface in the dark)
Music was good! Some slightly older top-40 songs and some hip-hop that are all easy to dance to. It is quite loud, and you can feel the bass in your bones. I will give them massive points for two things:
First, if I am in an area that has extremely loud music, after a point, I get sort of a sensory overload in the ears, and everything turns to unbearable noise. This did not happen here.
Second, music was consistent throughout the venue, meaning next to the DJ and towards the bar, the volume is about the same. The other side of this is, that if you are in a lounge area, or ordering a drink, you have to yell. Don't expect to still have your voice at the night's end.

Basement floor is another dance floor (opens at 12 AM when I was there). DJ is different, and thus music is a little different. There are also no spaces here to lounge, only to dance. While it is a nice change from the top level floor, I would have liked a little more to differentiate it.
Karaoke is good fun! Even if you can't sing, after seeing others who can't, and people who don't judge, you will probably get up there yourself! Lots of TVs down there to watch sports too (interesting in a club).
As the night progressed, many drinks were spilled, and the floor became wet in some places, and there were empty aluminum bottles of beer dancing along the floor as well. Staff did their best to clean up where they could, and in my dancing, no drinks were spilled on me.
Also, it became hotter in there as a bunch of people started crowding in. However, they do have good ventilation so that this is not a big issue.
Didn't pay a lot of attention to clientele, but seems like a normal crowd, with a lot of college students, good male to female ratio.
Staff was nice though in their cleaning, attentiveness, and in providing security.
