Wild Rover Cusco

Very lively hostel in a good location, with an amazing view over Cusco. Despite the party atmosphere, the noise was contained to the bar area and didn't drift too much to the dorms. Dorms and bathrooms were kept clean. The staff were brilliant at getting everyone involved in the fun.

We loved our time at Wild Rover. We booked a private room which meant we could party or have a quiet night when we had a tour the next day. On our first night, we met George at the bar who recommended the best Lomo saltado we had in Cusco. He remembered us each time we came into the bar which meant a lot. Great hostel, great events, great time!

Great hostel. Party is always fun in the bar and can’t forget the amazing views from the bar and many of the rooms! Staff is helpful and friendly. Kath and Luz at the front desk were great! Steph was a sweetheart and absolutely gorgeous. If you hear anything about a big hill, it’s so good to get yourself ready for future hikes out of Cusco.

As a Peruvian, the treatment is a little colder compared to someone from abroad. The rooms are very good with a curtain next to each bed. However, the electric plugs definitely need to be replaced. The party is great although new year is not the best time to find gringos if that is what you are going after hahaha

Wild Rover Cusco was an amazing experience to get to know both the city of Cusco and the nice people who travel as well. The staff were also so nice and I would highlight the kindness and helpfulness of Luz and Kath at the reception. Thx❤️

Rude receptionists, for some things you can only use cash and if you don't have cash they will tell you very rudely that there is an ATM in the hotel. The bar is good, the hostel has a nice view, but it is difficult to access. You can definitely find a better place, with more activities and in a better location.

Great hostel, the 16 bed dorm was really peaceful. Bar was great, had the Ireland New Zealand rugby game on. Good people here but the staff are incredible. Big up Steph. Absolutely lovely and really helpful!
