An essential guide to Songkran and where to celebrate it in Singapore - SilverKris

"A popular water theme park that hosts an extended Songkran Water Festival throughout April, featuring daily massive water-gun battles (noted 3pm–5pm) in a dedicated arena where attendees are encouraged to bring their own super soakers while performers roam with water-gun backpacks. The event includes Thai-themed photo installations (including a tuk‑tuk), Thai-inspired snacks and drinks, and capacity limits on certain attractions (capped at 50 people)." - Nick Measures and Joy Fang

Honestly not bad. Its my first visit despite knowing about the place decades ago. Back then there was also Escape Theme Park but it has been shut down long ago. I wasn't expecting much coming here since I've been to other water parks in Thailand and Indonesia but you know what? It's actually alright. Spent 1 day from opening to closing and I'm having a blast. My favorite ride was Royal Flush and Vortex. Free Fall is nice too but ain't my top pick. Slide Up is nice however the pool of water accumulated in the middle made it somewhat bumpy whenever the float get pass that. Not a fan of Torpedo (those with the vertical drop chutes) as water keeps rushing in my nose. If you are doing that, you need to pinch your nose; listening to the instructions of simply crossing your arms like a mummy will guarantee water going up your nostrils. Lol.

We were extremely disappointed with this place. It’s very hot. They don’t arrange many shaded chairs for resting. There are many cabana only for renting at killing price. We had to sit on the ground most of the time Not many trees, theme or decoration. This will be my first and last time visiting this place

Good lazy river with donuts to drift on, an area with waves to jump and plenty of life jackets for younger ones and a variety of water slides. Picnic areas, sun lounge areas. Lockers and baby change rooms. Woukd be better if there were accommodations for shade. Kids got sun burnt despite diligently applying suncream. If you are a spectator for your kids, more sun shades/ shade sails should be placed. Fans or water spraying fans, and water coolers to keep hydrated needed

A great day out for all the family. Loads of choice of slides and water fun, from the lazy Shiok River to the thrilling Royal Flush, with slides and play areas for all sizes. It’s great to get a cabana if someone in your party wants to sit and relax.

Wild Wild Wet is a fantastic water park in Singapore, perfect for a fun-filled day with family and friends. With thrilling slides like the Vortex and Ular-Lah, as well as relaxing attractions like Shiok River, it offers something for everyone. The park is well-maintained, with clean facilities and friendly staff, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. Kids will love the Professor’s Playground, while adrenaline seekers can brave the Free Fall slide. The only downside is the occasional crowds, but the excitement makes up for it. Overall, Wild Wild Wet is a must-visit for water adventure lovers!

Google
Open 11am to 6pm is not an ideal timing. The hottest hours during the day without shade. The floor becomes hot and we became ants running fast on it. Even wear sunblocks still become red color skin. And afternoon maybe after 4pm the sun is not that hot but it’s closing soon .. So one day pass is only 7hour entrance. Pls consider open at 9am and close 7pm considering safety need light to watch out. Then some areas can close later ( like the kids zone and kid slide ) some need safeguard can close earlier Otherwise this place is not bad.

Google
Worth going once, if you're in a larger group the cabana is a nice to have. Lots of places to buy food and drinks. Kids will love it.

Google
Best to get early to get tables or book a cabana in advance. Great get away for kids. Snack bar queue is long. They allow food from downtown east so best to buy from outside.

Yelp
I went today (July 1). It is the first day of school after Midyear break. I went with my wife and 2 young kids. We didn't expect much in terms of thrills. There are definitely better better water parks. We planned it so that there would be no crowd and there was none. The place is generally clean and child friendly. The amenities in the adjacent building (downtown east) makes this a one stop shop (fun, dining and shopping). The reason for the one star review is that the Professor's Playground area (for children) is under maintenance. There was no mention of this on the website, notice at the ticketing booth nor when we bought 2 kids tickets at full price. Why would the staff not informed ticket buyers of this especially since one of my kids is only 4 and it essentially eliminates more than half of his option? Not only that, the staff was unable to let me know when the area will be fully operational. Can't even tell me whether it is days, weeks or months. This is just poor communication and management.

Yelp
Its supposed to be a water theme park, where you can have fun. But in reality, its overpriced and boring. Compared to Sunway Lagoon in KL, and the old fantasy island on Sentosa, Wild Wild Wet is more of a place that is suited for little children who don't know any better. And I say this in the hope they might change it. Even the newer swimming complexes are more interesting then what they have here.

Yelp
Went on a Friday (22 Aug) at about 4pm. There was no line at the ticket booth, about $18 or so per adult. Got a free ticket for each ticket purchased, to be used some other time. And two waterproof tote bags for free. Strange, but unexpected, so yay! Lockers are one-time use, so don't be silly like me. Forgot to put a bag in before closing, and had to put in $3 again just to open it. There's also bigger lockers for $5. Locker keys come with a band, so you can put it on your wrist. There are pool-side chairs everywhere, you can also put your towels and slippers nearer the water area if you like. But it is a water park, you'd be walking around. The fittings are looking old and paint is chipped off a few surfaces. However, life-guards are standing every 15 feet or so, very attentive and polite. Three top fun spots! 1. Professor's Playground - A giant paint can that fills up with water. When full, a loud bell rings and the paint can will tip over, creating a fantastic splash into the pool below. You can stand or sit below it, and pretend you are the main actress in "Flashdance." 2. Ular-lah - You sit in a large round 6-man raft, hold on for dear life, and get pushed down a curvy slide. Great fun, except you have to climb up about 4 floors of stairs to get to it. 3. Shiok River - Find a large float, climb on it (gracefully, but it's tough), and slowly bop your way to a peaceful zen around the river. Wasn't too busy, so no one bothered me. The park closes at 7pm. 3 hours of low-stress, low-crowd fun. I will be back.

Yelp
We use this place to unwind after a two week mission trip in Thailand. Whilst it may not be the 'better' or most 'exciting' of water theme parks, it is nice to go somewhere that waiting queues aren't massive or does it take half an hour waiting for a rubber donut to lay on, to float around the park. Good amount of lifeguards on duty and staff are reasonably friendly. Not sure of the 'price' as it is organised as part of our trip package.
