On the Grid : Wildfire

"If you happen to want to disappoint a baby boomer at some point in your life, one of the best ways to do it is by getting yourself some snazzy sleeves of ink. Wildfire Tattoos in Long Street is one of the most established and professional tattoo parlours in the country, with exceptionally talented artists: Manuela, Grant and Matt. These people will bring your vision to life by creating an everlasting trinket on your person, something that becomes you and builds upon your identity, be it the cleanest of geometric lines to the most elaborately detailed Yakuza jacket. Tattoos aren’t the only thing that Wildfire does however; they expertly perform piercings and offer a crazy range of accessories, from the most modest of piercings to the most insane spacers you’ve ever witnessed. The era of the lick and stick tattoo is over, wildfire specialises in authenticity!" - Yellow Door Collective

Outstanding! My first time here at this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. Johnathan was our server and was very prompt in anticipating our needs and made the evening special. My wife has a salt issue and cannot have salt in the steak came out with salt in the sauce. Kevin U head is eye out and noticed the issue and came running over to make sure everything was okay. He quickly took the state back and had it back on Lisa's plate in front of her very quickly. Very impressive from the staff and the chefs. Love the music, love the vibe, love the food! We will be back often!

Stopped in to Wildfire while on a weekend getaway in Chicago. The food was good, and the service was excellent. The shrimp and lobster bisque stole the show and was definitely my favorite part of the meal. Anyone looking for a nice night out that won't break the bank should stop in at wildfire.

Another win for the Lettuce Entertain You crew — they’ve done it again! This place serves up serious vibes: think Rat Pack playlists, art deco glam, and just the right amount of moody lighting. Our waiter, Jonathan, was a total gem — super attentive and totally on board with my low-sodium requests (which isn’t always easy). My steak came out a little salty at first, but before I could even say “Frank Sinatra,” Kevin swooped in and fixed it with zero fuss. He was super friendly, attentive and helpful.nSpecialnshoit out to him! The food? Spot-on. Cooked to perfection, full of flavor, and left us planning our next visit. This spot’s officially on our repeat list.

Stopped by Wildfire after work on a Thursday, and it was exactly what I needed to shift gears. Dim lights, polished wood, a soft buzz of conversation—it hits the perfect midpoint between upscale steakhouse and lively cocktail lounge. Let’s talk drinks. The Story Night cocktail is a knockout. Complex, smooth, and just the right balance of citrus and smoke. It’s the kind of drink that gets better with each sip—and might get you telling stories you swore you’d keep to yourself. Bar Scene Bonus: Not gonna lie, the energy at the bar was active. A couple of regulars, a few solo flyers, and at least one stylish woman making every guy suddenly forget they were “just grabbing one.” Charismatic, confident, and clearly enjoying the attention—she brought a whole lot of spark to the corner of the bar. After-work crowd was definitely wide-eyed. Service & Ambience: The bartenders? Sharp and intuitive. They don’t hover, but they’re always right there when your glass gets low. Music’s on point—classic without being corny. And the whole space hums with just enough possibility to make you linger. Bottom line: Whether you’re there for the steak, the Story Night, or the stories you’ll leave with—Wildfire keeps things interesting.

I had an amazing experience at Wildfire. The food, the service and the overall atmosphere was excellent. I had the Bison burger. It’s very easy to overcook Bison because it’s so lean but my burger was so juicy and perfectly seasoned. My waitress, Hailey was amazing! She went above and beyond to provide us with a great dining experience. I can’t wait to come here again the next time I visit Chicago.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE IF YOU HAVE AN ALLERGY OR WANT THE CORRECT FOOD!!! I previously ordered a gluten free prime rib dip that arrived with a regular bun. If I didn’t realize it didn’t look right I would have gotten very sick. I was told by the manager to reorder through DoorDash and I would be reimbursed. I never was reimbursed and paid for a sandwich twice. That includes the additional delivery fee and toupee. Then today I tried one more time to order a burger with au gratin potatoes. I received a burger with coleslaw. For $24 plus delivery and tip I would expect to get the correct item.

My boyfriend’s son has severe peanut and tree nut allergies as well as Celiacs. We called the day before and the manager, Jennifer, walked through the meticulous precautions they take to make sure he can eat safely. She went out of her way to watch for and make a note on our reservation. From the moment we stepped in the restaurant everyone was aware of his allergies and they even have a dedicated gluten-fee menu. Jennifer checked in with us and made sure we were doing well. The food was phenomenal, the service was phenomenal, and we were so grateful to be able to dine somewhere that truly understood his allergies. Highly recommend this restaurant! Thank you!

Google
Had a reservation and was seated promptly. We didn't like the booth, so they were able to accommodate us and move us to a table. Ordered the calamari, it was decent. The French onion soup was very flavorful. I had the filet mignon wellington and it was delicious. Top it off with the key lime pie, very good as well.

Yelp
Made last minute reservations for 8 on a Saturday night. Was seated immediately and the table was set up for us. The restaurant was more empty than I'd expect for a nice steakhouse at 7:00 pm. Our server was fantastic and our meal was wonderful. I ordered the filet trio special and had (2) medallions topped with blue cheese and one with mushroom. Both cooked to perfection. I had the veggies as a side and wasn't a fan. My husband had the ribeye and thought it was fantastic! Overall good experience!

Yelp
My husband has Celiac disease so eating at restaurants even if they claim to be gluten-free has always been a risk. I can't tell you how many places we have eaten where he has ordered off the gluten-free menu and has gotten ill. I am going to brag about Wildfire and their preparation of gluten-free food. They are doing it right because he did not react to the food. He started with bread, then the entree, and had flourless chocolate cake and he enjoyed it all. So cudos to you Wildfire, keep up the good work for your gluten-free customers. We will be back next time we are in Chicago. Oh, and BTW all of the food was delicious.

Yelp
For some reason and i'll explain my experience here just wasn't a pleasant one, my steak arrived and seconds later it was cold, the cream spinach wasn't tasteful, and i was disappointed with my drink. I have eaten at Wild fire before but in Oakbrook, the downtown didn't offer me the experience i expected. The service was slow and the restaurant wasn't even crowded. The ambiance was quiet and relaxing.

Yelp
My colleagues and I tried this restaurant while in town. It was nice because we were a big party and they had no issue accommodating us with hardly any notice. The service was great! I had the special which was the Delmonico steak with baked Mac n cheese as the side. Didn't much care for the Mac n cheese. Didn't seem like it was baked at all, just pasta and cheese stirred together. But the steak was amazing!! We enjoyed ourselves, so on that note I would go back. I'll just have a different side next time.

Yelp
Had a date night here and I would say it was just okay. We were pretty much the only couple of people in the restaurant upon arrival which was interesting to see. We chose this place because I had a Lettuce Eats deal and we were hungry haha The steak ofc was the best thing we ordered but even then it was just alright.. my boyfriend really enjoyed his though - classic. I want to emphasize the sides... terrible. I think their sides need to be totally revamped/ looked at/ changed... whatever. Their mac & cheese was disgusting and I mean that sadly. The waitress even warned us but I didn't want to believe her cause I was in the mood for some lol and she was SO RIGHT. The mashed potatoes were fine. The cream of spinach was SO bland.. my goodness! The calamari actually was the star of the whole show.. loved. The soup was good too but nothing crazy memorable. Overall we were in and out and just happy we were full.

Yelp
We've heard good things about this place and finally tried it out last night. The ambiance is very inviting - think old school Chicago steak house. The Holiday decor was inviting (I wonder if it might be a bit cold without the decor?) Sorry no pictures, we were too hungry. We started with martini's and the crab stuffed mushroom caps. Martinis are LARGE (as a steakhouse martini should be), and the caps were good - very cheesy, but you still tasted the crab. Olivia, our server, was great. - friendly and sharing and funny. We each had a glass of wine with dinner. The 'by the glass' list isn't large, but they do have a bottle list. I think Mondays are half price bottle days... For our mains, we had the daily special beer braised short ribs (comes with. roasted root veggies and a potato of your choice) and the pistachio crusted flounder (comes with choice of sides). We had, for our sides, the potatoes au gratin and a baked potato. The short rib was fall apart and really delicious, veggies cooked well. The au gratin potatoes were ok - they could have been cheesier. The flounder had a super crunchy pistachio crust, which was really good. The baked potato was huge (came with butter and sour cream). We were stuffed, so no desert, but we will save room next time!

Yelp
I cannot believe how subpar service has become a main state for this restaurant. Very disappointed last night with the service at the bar. The bartender was not attentive in the least. Manager was very kind. However, the bartender was another story on 8/5/2025. He spent more time showing his iPhone to customers on the other side of us then he did retrieving and I see that was requested. We were not even finished with our steak and prime rib when he started cleaning up around us and he pulled out his backpack and set it on top of the bar. At one point, we had to repetitively as from iced tea, which was asked for at the beginning of sitting down at the bar. My filet mignon has to be ordered twice because he did not order the correct cooking of medium rare. We were not even finished with dinner funny started cleaning up around us. At one point, he even picked up his backpack from underneath the bar and set it on the bar. A very disappointing time at a restaurant well attended in the past.

Yelp
I came here for a friend's 40th birthday to celebrate. We were a little behind from when they sat our party down (by 10 minutes) so we settled in. Unfortunately, I thought service was severely lacking. We ordered drinks and it took over 30 minutes for our server to provide 2 cocktails! Meanwhile our party had already finished their drinks before we got ours. I will say our cocktails were tasty but still. We also weren't given time to get an appetizer in to enjoy and it felt kind of rushed to place an order with our server. Simple things weren't provided like enough fresh bread or water refills. It wasn't that busy in the restaurant and was a bit later so I'm not sure why service was slow. Our food arrived and it was tasty. I ordered the bbq glazed cedar plank salmon and it was delicious. I also ordered broccoli and my boyfriend ordered a steak and loaded mashed potatoes which were delicious although it took forever to bring out. When it was time to wrap things up, the server had to be reminded we were celebrating a birthday and just was nonchalant about providing a dessert. It just seemed very low effort and like here what we have for you. They were more interested to get us out. Had we got it earlier, it would be no big deal! Decor was awesome and gave such a lovely warm, old school Chicago holiday feel. It's perfect for the holidays. While the food was good, service lacked tremendously.

Yelp
This is a nice restaurant for atmosphere, food , and service. It's set up like a Wisconsin supper club and it's spacious so tables aren't jammed together. We eat here often and have some favorites. I enjoy the crab and lobster bisque. I ordered the scallops DeJonge for the first time and it had 8 scallops. Quite a meal! The filet trio is always a treat with your pick of toppings. They are known for their pies. We had the apple crisp and cherry pie. This is particularly good for groups, especially if you need a private room. Nick was our server and was terrific!

Yelp
Delicious food, service and drinks! We had an early reservation and were able to try the fired chicken special on Monday. Tons of chicken delicious juicy chicken and yummy sides. We also tried the lamb, haddock, and filet. All also very good. Will definitely be back when I'm in Chicago again. That chopped salad was amazing as well!

Yelp
Picked wildfire to host an important business dinner recently and was completely thrilled with the results. We had a private dining room which served all of our confidentiality needs well. Everyone was seated comfortably. We had a group of nearly 20 people with plenty of space. The weight staff was incredible. Their attentive without being disruptive and the food was phenomenal. I had a wonderful steak, great mashed potatoes along with it and the desserts that they presented were out of this world wonderful berry crumble, and some chocolate cake as well. We definitely look forward to coming back to wildfire to eat eat in the dining room if you give the opportunity.

Yelp
The food was top notch. We had the prime rib and a ribeye and both were cooked perfectly. The Black Manhattan and my martini were delicious. Also we could not have had better service. Our waiter did a fantastic job. It was our first time here, but we'll definitely be back.

Yelp
This place in the city is hard to get to as being downtown and traffic is busy. Even with that the food is good and the service is on mark if not better. Beware if you make reservations, they take your credit card#. If you fail to cancel 24 hrs before reservation, they will charge $30/person on the credit card on file. It was a middle of the week dinner for our family. It wasn't busy but it did take a long time for our food to come after the salad and calamari. Our server was great. She had a good personality and kept checking with us. But she couldn't make the food come any faster.

Yelp
this used to be my favorite spot. A week ago I placed a pick up order. The Tuscan kale salad on repeat for weeks. I decided to order the lemon parmesan dressing as it makes the salad. completely deflated when I got home open the bottle poured some on my salad and noticed a brown rim on the lid. Looked at the expiration date. It was from August 2024, Disgusted and now unsure if the dressing I. my to go container was old, I lost my appetite. I called to address the issue,I spoke with a manager and he said" oh let me check to make sure there are no other bottles left to sell. Assured me I would get a refund. I received an email but still no credit on my card. I've lost my appetite for Wildfire. Luckily the steak I ordered for my niece was great, but poor customer service and follow up from the manager.A simple act of kindness goes a long way.

Yelp
Love the martini flight and the filet medallions! The cream of spinach is delicious. Expensive, but worth it.

Yelp
We've heard about this spot for your traditional steakhouse. The Ambiance is fantastic. We tried the fried chicken, different salads ( readers be warned, the small size is more than you need to share with 4 adults) very generous portions. Kale and spinach salad with shrimp kabob - 10/10 Fried chicken- 8/10 Prime rib sandwich/ dip- 8/10 Calamari apps 8/10 French onion soup

Austin J.

Yelp
Food and service was better than I could have asked for. Me and my girlfriend had a lovely date at Wildfire. Our server, Sophia(I think), was so nice! We ordered the New York Strip and the petite filet mignon. Then for dessert we had the cookie skillet which I highly recommend. Sophia gave us a free brownie with it! This was a 10/10 experience and I can't wait to come back next time I'm in Chicago.

Yelp
The food was alright. The Shrimp and Lobster Bisque was great. From there, my main entrée came and everything looked good. The cut of ribeye steak I received was a bit fattier than I like. The red skin mashed potatoes and creamed spinach were good, once I added salt and pepper. I washed it down with a Mexican Mule (not pictured). Overall, it's a solid restaurant with a solid experience. I'd go back, but I may order a different protein.

Debra P.

Yelp
Excellent food options. Steaks are delicious and cooked as requested. The Mac and Cheese is a must try. Delicious chocolate cake. Love the supper club vibe and great customer service. Great date night restaurant.

Yelp
This is our go to spot in the city for great steak. This last time we visited this steak house I got broiled New York strip and my wife got the pistachio crusted flounder. My steak came out perfect and the fish my wife ordered was delicious as well. Drinks are strong and beer is cold. Great spot for dinner. Service as always was very good. Our waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant has a large dinning room with a good size bar.

Yelp
We left the car with the Valet, for 3-4 hours, and when we picked it up it stank of weed inside the car!! Disgusting and unacceptable!! We don't smoke anything so it was for sure not us, and the smell was really strong which suggest somebody smoked inside the car for some time. I'm revolted at how they've violated our car this way.

Yelp
Maybe I caught this place on a off day or something but it was a good to mediocre meal...The sides like Mac and cheese, spinach dip, brown sugar baked sweet potato were fine but nothing special...The non liquor drink was tasty but something I could throw together at home and would be light years better. Now on to the entrees....Crusted bone in rib eye for like over 60 bucks was cooked to perfection at medium but grisly, fatty, and chewy aka about 60 percent was edible...I can cook a better steak and with lower quality of meat and beat this. Pork chops were cooked until hard and dry...unacceptable! Overall a mid experience but the atmosphere is nice and interior design is cozy and warm and waitstaff is on point. So while in downtown Chicago and looking for a more upscale Outback and don't mind overpaying, this spot might be for you. Unfortunately there are so many better steak spots in this area like Chop House right up the street.

Yelp
Really good classic American food restaurant! Great service, big portions, and delicious drinks!! The restaurant is also very big so this is a great place to bring extended family and large groups!

Yelp
A solid spot if you are in the River North Spot. This LEYE restaurant specializes in very good steaks, salads and seafood. While I wouldn't put it up there with the classic steakhouses in Chicago, it has some unique options to make it stand out. I had the filet trio and took the mushroom, horseradish and Parmesan toppings. While not huge, they were very favorable and would recommend all three (with the Parmesan the stand-out). We had sides of asparagus and potatoes. I would say the asparagus was slightly over cooked but the vinaigrette was a nice add.

Gwen N.

Yelp
One of my fav restaurants in the River North neighborhood. I love the 1950's dinner club ambiance. A MUST start to any meal here is the Chopped Salad. Filled with an extraordinary variety of items, this menu item can easily be a meal in itself. We chose the Halibut special of the day. Huge portion, savory, served with grilled asparagus. We added a side of red-skin potatoes and a glass of red wine. Completed our meal with a huge slice of lemon meringue pie. Special shout out to our superb server HAYLEY, whose fun,, friendly, professional interaction with us made for a delightful and memorable meal. Be sure to request her when you make your reaction.

Yelp
Was in a meeting so I sent my wife and her friend to this location for dinner my wife called me at 820pm to ask what I wanted for dinner as they were about to close the kitchen I advised her when I arrived at the restaurant security advised me per management no one was allowed in I explained the situation security said no entrance I called my wife advised her of the situation she said the waitress said you could come in but she came to the door picked up the 200.00 cash and came out a few minutes later with my salad and no dressing I don't appreciate the back and forth I definitely won't be stopping by anytime soon

Yelp
This place is reminiscent of an old style jazz club. It is cozy and warm and manufactured dated. We got reservations, but they were slightly behind. We sat at the bar as we waited and had a couple of cocktails that were good. I honestly love watching bartenders make cocktails and this was definately a cocktail kind of place. I also saw the other staff help out when the bartender got slammed which i found encouraging. What brought us in was a restaurant week, and it was honestly a good deal. I got salad, and my husband got soup. He got filet and I got prime rib. So, starters were good. Husband said his lobster bisque had pieces of lobster which made him happy. My prime rib was excellent. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The filet, while perfectly cooked with a good sear could have used more salt and seasoning. Our desserts were decent. Our service was good. Ivy, our server, was bright, engaging, and when she got slammed she still made it a point to be positive and helpful. The service in general was friendly and hospitable. On a sad note, we ubered from our hotel and determined the the valet would have been cheaper at 18.

Yelp
My friend wanted us to experience one of their best steakhouses in Chicago. The food and wait staff were incredible. I ordered the cedar plank salmon, we also had the loin trio medley, family size Cobb salad for the table, New York strip, two bottles of wine and dessert. Each course was delivered with fun and style. I'd highly recommend attending if you're in town. Oh and bring your checkbook...

Peter A.

Yelp
When we travel from out of state, Wildfire is a must stop. We love the food and my wife loves the Stormy Nights. The last time my wife was kind of full so she only ordered a shrimp cocktail and a salad. She only ate the shrimp cocktail and did not touch the salad. Management took it off our bill without us saying a word. We always assume 'you order it, you pay for it'. Well thank you and see you next time!
google avatar

Jeremy K.

Yelp
It's always about the basics of cooking and Wildfire delivers. Hot food hot and cold food cold. Ask for a medium rare steak and get a medium rare steak. Seasoned to perfection! Our server, Hank, was wonderful. Attentive, polite, warm and friendly. Bravo to Chef and their crew. Another wonderful meal.

Karen C.

Yelp
Sat at the bar, Jordan was our bartender. He was amazing. Great drinks, great salad. We had the ribeye and prime rib. The coconut cream pie was excellent. Sit at the bar and talk to Jordan!

Yelp
We came here to celebrate my MIL's birthday, who reserved several tables to accommodate our large group. From the beginning we didn't get great service. We suspect it might have a little to do with being judged from the start, as we were some of the only non-white patrons. I ordered a Sidecar just to be told later that I couldn't order cognac neat--Sal didn't explain why, but again I suspect it's because of what we look like. Our server Sal didn't put in my partner's order. After everyone got their plates, we pointed out that he did not have his food. Sal hurried back to the line where we could see him speaking with the kitchen, which was already closed by the time he realized his mistake. The kitchen argued with the server for a bit -- by that time my man didn't even want his food. They ended up bringing him a Wellington, because to our surprise the kitchen was out of the filet mingon that he originally asked for. Now, I've worked in several bars and restaurants, and if the kitchen is out of something, it's communicated to the wait staff. Obviously that wasn't the case here, and we were rarely checked up on throughout the meal while the case of the missing plate was going on. Sal was nowhere to be found. When we let the manager know what the kitchen did he asked us how that was his problem! LOL. He seems very lost and uninvolved as a manager... it seemed like the kitchen was trying to withhold information from him so they wouldn't get in trouble. At the end of the day the issue fell on the waiter and him not telling the kitchen the facts. From reading other reviews it seems others have had less than great service. It's a shame, as the food is decently good, but we won't be patronizing this place ever again due to the lack of communication.

Yelp
Great service, she was happy bubbly and most of all spot on with food descriptions and recommendations.. Good food. Chocolate flourless torte was exceptional. Atmosphere was out of the 60's/70's lounge. Dark wood very old school steak house fancy.

Yelp
We haven't been able to visit Wildfire in a few years since we moved further away from downtown, but we came back tonight and the experience and food were just as good as we remembered! Philip provided outstanding service from start to finish.

Yelp
Fantastic food and service! We started with cocktails in the bar area. Several in our party ordered specialty cocktails. They were all delicious. The bartender was helpful and friendly. We ordered several appetizers. The bison meatballs and shrimp cocktail were both great. The goat cheese wasn't anything special. We had steak, ribs, halibut and crab cakes as our entrees and all were perfect. They offer GF bread and are knowledgeable about food challenges. Our waiter brought me GF chocolate cake, this was my birthday celebration, and it was delicious! Really relaxing environment and high end service. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
I went here to celebrate an anniversary and it was a great experience! We ordered the Calamari to start, which was so crispy and delicious. They also gave free corn bread that was SO addictive, and we got full way too fast. We also got the Ribeye Steak (Medium) and Chicken Club Sandwich. When we first got the steak, it was completely well done. A waiter came by and we showed him the inside of the steak, and he immediately took it and came back with a perfect medium steak! It was awesome service. The ambiance is nice and it's a very cozy little restaurant in River North. I'd definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good, cheaper steakhouse!

Yelp
Came here for date night and I am a fan of Wildfire. Been here once before but wanted to try it out again. Made our reservation a week in advance and had no trouble being seated. Didn't drive but street metered parking is available or valet. Our server was friendly and fast moving. The restaurant was quite full so I understand. We started with calamari which came out hot and crunchy. Next our meals. I had the chicken and it was well seasoned and very juicy. The mashed potatoes were super buttery, just like I like them. Partner had the fish which was seasoned well and fresh and hot. Price point was typical for this type of dining. The chocolate cake was also delicious and super chocolaty. Would come back but hesitant to try the steak given the prior reviews

Yelp
Loved the food and atmosphere. Came here for a friend's 5th year wedding anniversary. The food served was great! The cocktails were pricey (two for $35) but worth it!

Yelp
Dreaming of this place currently! Forgot to post a review but my husband and I came for the Chicago restaurant week last winter and it was phenomenal!! I was instantly in LOVE when the bread basket came out with an assortment of warm breads. Next we for the chopped salad which normally I'm not a fan of chopped salads but Wildfires is PERFECT!! Not too much dressing and just the right amount of chicken, avocado and tomatoes. Yum!! Next was the au gratin potatoes, omg so creamy and not too cheesy! LOVED the filet, cooked to a perfect medium! The best part was the crusted horseradish topping! Omg so flavorful and unique. We finished the meal off with the chocolate silk pie. DO NOT skip this!!! Even if you're too full you're about to burst. It taste almost like an Oreo pie! Silky rich chocolate with a nice smooth vanilla cream on top. Similar to Gibsons chocolate pie! I might like this one better though! Can not wait to come back to wildfire !!

Yelp
This place is solid. Based on 1 stop here it's inconsistent so I can see how it gets great reviews and then maybe some mediocre reviews. The good: our waiter was great! Very nice and attentive. Overall customer service 5/5 stars The bad: My bf and I both ordered steaks cooked medium, mashed potatoes, and veggies. His steak was cooked properly. Mine was extremely well done, and wasn't seasoned very well. The potatoes were kind of bland and not great. After trying to chew my steak I couldn't do it so I let our waiter know it was cooked very well done. (Again he was great and took it away and ordered a new one) The next steak I got was 100% different. It was seasoned well cooked properly and was even better than my bfs steak. (Still not the best steak ever but it was night and day from my original) They also gave us new potatoes because of how long it took and the new mashed potatoes were 100x better than the ones we originally had. Creamy and seasoned. All in all I wouldn't recommend this place unless they can get more consistent because we basically had 2 totally different meal experiences in 1 sitting and I don't know which one we'd get next time. It's a little less pricey than some other steakhouses in the area (still pricey) but I do think we should've just splurged a bit more and gone elsewhere.

Yelp
I had the best experience with my coworkers. The food and drinks were delicious. I ordered the grilled chicken club sandwich with mashed potatoes and a pomegranate margarita. I also tried the bison meatballs as my appetizer. They couldn't sit us on one table so we split our group and sat at two round tables side by side. That was the only thing I didn't like. My server Luis was great and very knowledgeable on the items on the menu.

Yelp
Food was excellent as well as the service. The atmosphere of the restaurant was inviting and relaxing. My wife enjoyed the Chicago location and on Monday September 18, my wife and I are having our 51st wedding anniversary dinner at the Oak Brook location. I'm sure that we will have the same experience. We recommend WildFire in Chicago.

Yelp
Had an enjoyable work dinner here last night! The menu was pre-set but I enjoyed a caesar salad (which was fine), the tomato and cheese flatbread (which was ok), and then a steak with a side of mashed potatoes and balsamic roasted veggies. The steak was cooked well. The sides were delicious! I loved the mashed potatoes. For dessert we had a triple layer chocolate cake and it was delectable. The service was excellent and the restaurant itself is nice! Location is great as well with street parking nearby.

Yelp
We stopped in for drinks and apps. The staffs were great. From the host to bar back to the bartender, they were friendly, attentive and upbeat. We had bison meatballs and crab cakes. Both were delicious.

Yelp
I love this place! Been coming here for years, but never wrote a review...I never look at the bill, let my wife handle that, but I did ask what it cost for three of us to eat here the other night...it was over 200 bucks... We had two entrees, a few sides, and a martini flight, a dirty martini which my wife says is the best ever, and a 45 dollar bottle of wine. I had the French Onion Soup as an appetizer, outstanding! for an entree, the NYStrip, it was ok, I've had better...my friend had the short rib special, that was really good. Just go, great service and food ...just costly...Go!

Yelp
This place has always been one of my favorite restaurants. I've never had a bad meal or bad service here. The baked French Onion soup is some of the best that I've ever had! The warm onion rolls that is brought to the table before your dinner are also scrumptious little things! Overall I highly recommend this restaurant as you will not be disappointed!

Yelp
We eat out often and there are times times we come away disappointed. This was not the case this evening at Wildfire. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our dining experience. The room is warm and inviting and the booth really comfortable. We were warmly welcomed and seated promptly. Our server, Marco was genuinely helpful and attentive. Consequently, the food was served hot and appropriately prompt, so that we did not feel hurried. I had the planked salmon and my spouse had the mushroom crusted pork chops. Both were truly delicious and we love when our food is served hot. We enjoyed two glasses of Pinot Grigio which were served with a generous pour and the right temperature. All in all, an exquisite and enjoyable experience. A shout out to the manager, Jessie!

Yelp
Dinner was fine. The salmon was the favorite at the table and the filet was a close second. The room was a bit dark for my taste (had to use my cellphone to see the menu). Our waiter, Michael, was great and very helpful explaining the menu.
