The level of professionalism at this establishment is incredible! Went in a couple of weeks ago, of course the food/drinks are always incredibly yummy and the atmosphere is so warm & welcoming! The only thing that ruined the experience were a few rude customers. I honestly think they got to everyone in a timely fashion but myself and others overheard the staff say multiple times they were sorry for the wait because it was so busy in there at the time. When asked about certain prices of items on the menu versus what was actually charged, they immediately apologized and explained they didn’t have time to update their menus as of yet, many including myself understood this issue and didn’t have a problem about paying a dollar or two more but naturally, there always has to be one out there that demands a refund from a local business (over a $1 difference). The way the staff handled that entire issue was phenomenal!
Also, I didn’t catch her name but the one black waitress that was working did not deserve the rude treatment she got either. She was doing her job and kept a level head. Crazy how the rude racist woman got so polite when the white owner walked over to talk with her about the issue. I never thought I’d witness such a thing and I hope the waitress doesn’t let such negative comments get to her!
People need to understand the staff are humans who have busy lives outside of their job and I always see them busting their butts in there. Give some grace and a little respect, especially towards small local businesses. It doesn’t take much to be nice to people, go take your miserable business somewhere else.
