We visited this zoo recently and were honestly disappointed, especially when comparing it to the Phoenix Zoo. General admission for adults is a steep $52, and nearly every activity inside — from rides to small experiences — costs an additional $6 per person. By the time you do a couple of rides or experiences, you’re easily spending $100+ per person. Most of the animals were sleeping during our visit, which made the experience feel even more limited. Another downside: there weren’t enough cold water refill stations, which is a big miss on a hot day — especially for families with kids. That said, the sea lion show was a highlight and really well done. It was fun, engaging, and probably the best part of the visit. Overall, it’s not worth the high price tag in my opinion. Phoenix Zoo offers a better experience at a more reasonable price.

When I think of the zoo I usually think… smelly. But, Wildlife is by far one of the least smelliest zoos I’ve been to. I went with my family and we had a ton of fun. From the moment we arrived we were excited by the questions at the entrance. The animals were awake and lively especially the Tiger who was walking around. The kids had a ton of fun feeding the goats and some of the other animals around. They also have rides and games but we didn’t get to them.

Enjoyed the day at the zoo yesterday, lots to see. Great additions since I have been there. Appreciated the train and tram tours, saw lots of beautiful animals, in their natural habitats. The aquariums are nice variety of things to see and good place to get out of heat.

Lots of animals to see. There were scooters to rent. There was enough shade to give some relief from the sun. The zoo was set up to have a decent flow to see all the animals as you move through. The animals seemed active and many of them were eating food while we saw them. It was a bit hot but the indoor exhibits gave us some cool relief. Overall we had fun looking at all the different animals.

Had a great time with my niece and nephew. Plenty of shade, you can bring in your own water bottles and snacks. Park is pretty big, they had a good variety of animals to see. Loved the Kangaroo walkabout, can get pretty close to them, just don't touch. I think I had more fun than the kids. There was part of the zoo we didn't see, will be going back for sure.

This zoo is okay. The enclosures are too small for a large majority of these animals and a lot of them aren't taken care of properly. For example, their Russian Tortoise's beak is overgrown and needs to be taken care of - he or she looked so sad. There is a large monitor lizard housed with a leopard tortoise in an enclosure that is too small - these two looked miserable. They're supposed to have one of the largest collections of exotic animals which might be accurate due to the small enclosures. I would even say the big cat enclosures were also small. The leopards looked irritable. The two tigers did as well. The birds and small monkeys also looked both irritated and sad. Some of the food / snack stands looked like they have been abandoned for some time. I think the best part here is being able to feed the giraffes and the pizza at Slice is pretty damn good. The staff is also friendly. We actually ended up leaving this zoo to go to 'Out of Africa', which seems to take better care of their animals.

Very unique. Enjoy the aquarium, zoo, food, and other attractions. Not a bad price. Took us 5 or so hours to see everything. Depends on when you go how crowded it is. Spaced well and plenty of places to stop to grab a snack along the way. Animals did have enrichment and looked cared for- however some habitats need updated/bigger spaces etc. Would love to see them get AZA accredited.

Google
Such an amazing trip! Rides, animals, ride on scooters, gift shops, experiences, and food. This place was so much fun. Just a tip, make sure to download the Rydables app before going so you can just scan and ride. The rides are extra per person so make sure to bring extra funds for that. We booked the sea lion experience, and it was 100% worth it. The trainers were so insightful, friendly, and experienced. All the animals look like they are cared for, and they seem to be living the life here! I will recommend this place to everyone that I know who is going to Arizona. Please come visit this place and support the zoo!

Yelp
We came here with four people while we were in Arizona. The official website has a coupon for 4 people and offers a $24 discount, so you should use it. I have attached a copy of the coupon so you can take a screenshot with your phone and show it at the ticket office. Free parking lots are available. This place has an aquarium, safari, zoo, and so it will take at least 3 or 4 hours to visit all of them. There are places where you can eat easily, toilets, and water refills. We are adults, but it was a good exercise, and I dared to enjoy cute baby animals and rare animals. The aquarium is also divided into several parts. I learned a lot not only from seeing animals. Also, depending on the time of arrival, there were some places where animals could not be seen because they were sleeping. There are places where you can buy food for animals, so it might be a good experience to try. We had about four hours, but we enjoyed ourselves very much. Highly recommend here.

Yelp
Far better than Phoenix Zoo. Wildlife World Zoo is one Zoo which in the past 20 years has grown and improved so much... there's always new things to see and experience at each visit. Whereas most zoos stagnate and have nothing new. Make sure you visit and plan out the feeding of the Lorys, wonderful experience, especially when there's only 3 of you lol! So many birds fighting on the piece of fruit. Best of all is the Ridables, best way to see the 6 mile Zoo tracks in the comfort of your own rideable animal. Feed the Giraffes, get upclose with many other animals. Ride around the entire facility, lock the animals down so you can visit inside the restaurants, restrooms, inside enclosures and continue back on your journey.

Yelp
We went on a cool morning and many of the animals were out and about. It's a good walk to see the entire zoo (over 11K steps) but it's worth it. We went fortunate enough to see several animals being fed. The place is clean and the provided map worked well for us. As with most zoos, there were empty exhibits and lots and lots of birds. Parking was a breeze.

Yelp
While having a relaxing vacation in Sedona, AZ. took a trip here. There is a wide range of animals to observe. We took the safari ride and saw giraffes, zebras and ostriches. A few giraffe and ostriches approached the vehicle close enough to feed. Pretty cool. There are also presentations conducted by the staff highlighting birds and reptiles that you can pet. Took a stroll along the walk path to see tigers, monkeys flamingos and turtles. There is also an aquarium on site with a variety of water species to see and a sea lion show. A cool place to check out for a full range of mammal and marine life.

Yelp
Best Zoo ever! Go! Right now! You must go here to understand how huge this place is and how many amazing it is! So many animals, fish, creatures, rides, places to eat, exhibits, fun things to do, etc. This place is giant! I was there for 8 hours and still didn't see everything or do everything. The price is soooo worth it! My two favorite things are the Sea Lion show & experience and of course the petting zoo! When was the last time you got to pet a goat or deer? How about a sea Lion!? Tons of little food places to get snacks, drinks or even a beer within the park, I counted at last 4 or 5 places when I was there + Dillons restaurant is attached in the front of the zoo as well. Mama's: this place has changing tables in every bathroom area within the zoo! They got you! Rides: so fun! These are extra on top of zoo entrance fee, but you can pick and choose which ones you want to go on. The carousel was my daughter's favorite and there is a super cool flying bird one in the back that goes fast! There is a ski lift one so you can see the zoo from above, a roller coaster, swings and more! Animals: ummmmm sooooo many! And they were all active and I could see so many the day I went. I wish Yelp would let me put more photos so I could show them all! Bears, lions, tigers, monkeys galore, birds galore, rhino's, panthers, giraffes, amazing fish, sea lions, penguins, and so many more. Shops: there are two huge shops in the front with tons of cute stuff and they even have some little things in the food shops within the park that you may like as well: souvenirs cup for your drink or beer or even cute little animal juices for your little ones! I can't say enough- this zoo is spectacular and you must go in order to see all the things you don't even know are inside. The staff is great and they all had smiles on their faces and were very helpful.

Yelp
Great zoo and aquarium! My 5 yr old nephew loved everything about it. Very clean and animals are healthy. We went on a Sunday and the crowds were light. Got there early and spent 4 hours. Still didn't see it all. Staff is fantastic to talk with. Highly recommend.

Janelle F.

Yelp
Time flies when you're having fun. It's been a hot minute since I'd been to the Wildlife Zoo so we headed over today with the kids. They've made so many changes since our last visit and all for the better. Every time I come I feel like they have new or better enclosures. I love that many are more interactive such as the parrot feedings, giraffe and the walkabout with the kangaroos. There are rides for kids and adults. My teenagers really loved the zip line. The staff we interacted with were great too. Just like any other zoo drinks and food is overpriced, but if that money helps contribute to the upkeep and things I'm ok with that. Great day today and with the coupon on the tickets today it helped a little.

Ashley H.

Yelp
Love to come here!!! Go earlier in the day as there is A LOT to do here. The pizza at SLICE is good and worth the $12.99! Churros are good too. Don't forget to go to the zoo first as the aquarium is open an hour later. Also there's giraffe feeding but being quarters! Sea lion shows are super fun too.

Adnan A.

Yelp
Went on Sunday. Had an amazing time. All of staff was very friendly and sweet. The park was clean and had lots of animals. Sea lion show was absolutely fantastic! The trainers were very knowledgeable and friendly.

Jessica C.

Yelp
AZA! Yay! I verified they were AZA upon wondering around because 'that' part of me always ends up with the same reaction when visiting animals in captivity. This place is super neat to visit with SO many animals and birds. During another visit years and years ago, I heard the founder/owner loves birds and that was the reason for there being so many. I love birds too and could very easily spend an entire day just going from enclosure to enclosure spending time with each of them. The Kid joined me and doesn't have as much fun staring and talking to the birds as I do. I was saddened by the thought of minimal enrichment but truth is, I don't know whether or not that is a valid concern. Overall, I will visit again and am grateful to know that even with the saddness created within regarding animals in captivity, at least there are establishments taking care of unreleasable animals.

Yelp
What an amazing place. I visited recently and I had no idea how big it was. They got a lot to see. I really enjoyed the aquariums. I wish the Phoenix Zoo had them. Definitely plan on spending the day there if you want to see everything. I can't wait to go back.

Rashmi G.

Yelp
We enjoyed our day trip to the Wildlife World Zoo when the weather was cooler! This has been on our list for some time, only wish it were closer so we could go more often. The day we had gone, there was a large crowd of people waiting to get in, so it did take some time to get through the line for tickets. Pricing is pretty similar to other zoos, aquariums, etc. that I've been to previously. The zoo itself had a number of animals, including birds, monkeys, giraffes, zebras, tigers, lions, etc. There's also an aquarium exhibit to walk through. They have some attractions available for an additional change; a rollercoaster, a log ride, some other small amusement park type rides. Lots to do! Keep in mind this park is huge. My son is close to 5 years old and walked around most of it, but it would definitely be worth your while to bring either a wagon or stroller (or I believe they allow you to rent one). They allow you to bring in water which is much needed.

Matthew C.

Yelp
Well this place is really something. Yes, it's pretty pricey, but after spending ALL DAY there and not even being able to see anything, I have to say it was worth it, especially with small kids. Our family came to visit and I brought both my elderly parents and my young children. We spent 6 hours looking at amazing animals and we were all too tired to keep walking after 6 hours, and we missed a full third of the park. The giraffe feeding was a lot of fun and the aquarium was amazing. There really were a ton of things to look at, and we were going pretty fast too. I highly recommend this place. Just make sure it isn't too hot.

Tiphanie W.

Yelp
This place was huge and we were so tired walking it all. The aquarium and monkeys were my favorite. Lots of cool reptiles. Really enjoyed feeding the parakeets. Lots of stuff closed; biggest disappointment was no giraffe feeding or tram for the safari park. What's a safari park without the tram? The Rollercoaster and swings along with eateries were closed as well. This was all on a lovely Saturday. So for $50 person was disappointed.

Kelley H.

Yelp
Great zoo with a lot of animals to see. The weather was nice so all of the animals were out and about. A lot of different options for places to eat throughout the zoo. Highly recommend.

Cheryl J L.

Yelp
Had a wonderful time here. We walked almost the whole park. Rode the tram that took us through some parts of the park. There is so much to see and enjoy here. My favorite part was feeding the giraffes. Be prepared to spend the day if you want to see everything and enjoy the animals, rides and great food..!!

Stacy S.

Yelp
We visited Wildlife World Zoo yesterday, and we had a really fantastic day. It was cool weather and overcast and so many animals were out and active. This zoo is great because it's set up so you can really see the animals. I was so pleasantly surprised at how many animals we got to see. The staff was extremely nice and we really enjoyed our visit overall. There are a few small things they could do to make this a 5-star experience. First, there was a lot of garbage around the park. At many viewing areas there are 2 fences, about 3-4 feet apart to make sure you keep your distance from the animals. These areas between the fences were full of garbage. We saw beer cans, lots of food wrappers, and even a dirty diaper. I think the park could do better about cleaning up the trash and also provide more trash cans along the way. The other thing I noticed was there was alack of recycling containers. There are several signs around the park about how important it is to conserve and take care of our environment, yet I was unable to recycle my empty water bottle. Lastly the bathrooms were not kept up well at all. Very old and dirty. This is a beautiful facility and has so much potential, but just a little more attention to detail could make it absolutely spectacular!! We saw lots of employees around the park all day, so I'm confident they could take care of these issues swiftly. Make sure to feed the giraffes!!!

Walter L.

Yelp
The San Diego Zoo may be world-renowned for its exceptional animal care, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's the best place to inspire a love for animals in families. What this zoo offers, however, is an incredible variety of species and unique up-close interactions that you won't find at most larger zoos

Daysi G.

Yelp
We all had a great time absolutely perfect the zoo the aquarium the petting area the little tiny baby chimps. It was all an incredible day.

Monica O.

Yelp
The family and I headed off for a day at the Wildlife World Zoo with grandkids in tow and let me tell you this was a great way to spend time with family and see some cool animals. We all saw the groupon special for entrance and swopped it and off we went. The Wildlife World Zoo is HUGE so plan on spending hours there, lots of walking too so if you have little ones under 5 maybe bring a wagon and grab a map! From birds, lizards, llamas, emus, monkeys, sting rays, eels, flamingos, giraffes, there is so much wildlife to see. The kids enjoyed seeing all the fishes in the aquarium. We all spent the day there and enjoyed our time, rode on a few rides, and if the log ride looks innocent its not, you will get soaked haha. If looking for something to do with the entire family, go take them the Wildlife World Zoo, you wont be disappointed!

Cameron C.

Yelp
Super cool zoo! Such a wide variety of animals and most of them active or at least visible, something I can't say I've had at every other zoo. The park is clean, there are plenty of options for food, and lots of areas to fill up a water bottle to stay hydrated in the summer. Loved the day here and didn't even get to explore all of the zoo!

Paul T.

Yelp
I'm giving it a three star just because pros and cons so fish, birds, giraffes look happy when you come in but once you look around and start going into the zoo and start to see animals sitting not moving some pacing back and forth ehhh kinda makes me sad when I pay for a 14$ beer and some animals look more sad than prisoners I guess that's how zoos are the lions look skinny very skinny and the cheetah has a small pin I mean he can't run anywhere the hyenas had a bigger pin ?? Ok hmm just some stuff to look at also people with kids be ready for moms yelling at the kids and it may be pretty annoying when walking into the fish since it's indoors moms yelling back to back can't even hear myself talk... well people happy so that's all that matters who cares about the animals not much difference from the LA zoo on how well kept the tigers and lions are.... the main animals everyone wants to see that's what's my biggest deal is all this money and the lion is very skinny so yea it's fun to see animals locked up yea it's cool but not for them lol yea it was fun but I just can't believe my eyes the pictures look great just wait till you see in person also JETS above the zoo loud and flying back to back animals looked annoyed just as much as I was lol be ready for empty habitats also some pins have no animals so don't let the map fool you yea I had fun seeing animals I've never seen before but I would be lying by putting 5 star on how well kept there zoo is it's literally a 3 or if not. 2 for trash being everywhere and dirt I shouldn't be able to see a lions spine that's where I got failed by this zoo for sure it's cool I had fun but I'd be lying on how they keep there zoo animals ect people with 5 stars are giving 5 stars because they got happy and seen animals they never seen before yea that's cool I'm giving the review on the truth on what it really looks like on how they keep stuff in there once you give them your money is what your paying for so this is what I'm reviewing not the fun cool animals I never seen before

Nancy H.

Yelp
It had been a few years since I had visited this zoo and it has been updated. We noticed a lot more benches with umbrellas to provide shade when you wanted to take a break. We did take the trolley ride (price not included ) and the tour guide was very informative. They have a couple of different eating areas if you choose to eat there. We did bring in our own water and snacks which they allowed.

Ann Marie K.

Yelp
You can see the animals up close. Zoo is clean and well kept. Dillon's being right there is a nice add on for lunch.

Sarah T.

Yelp
We enjoyed our day trip to Wildlife World Zoo- my partner and I and some of our friends. However, the facilities need a major renovation. I also think the location next to a highway is not the most ideal for animals; and it shows when you walk the grounds. The refreshment station staff also need an upgrade, per se, because the lady who served us gave one of our friends attitude; as if serving him was a chore and it showed. Despite all these, it is a great place to visit when you're in the area. The animals look cared for and they have a wide variety of diversity to showcase. It also is great for wildlife. conservation education for all walks of life. The refreshments were worth the price and overall, it was fun.

Louise S.

Yelp
This zoo is big with a lot of open spaces to walk around and enjoy the many animals with many rooming free. I really like the latter aspect specially. I also thought the enclosures were very well thought out with a lot of open spaces for the animals to move around and they all mostly looked happy. I saw many of them and quite a few were interacting which was fun. I ended up going there as a result of a Groupon we decided to get so I recommend checking if there's any before going as the admission for adults is normally $48, I paid $33 (Groupon). To get there took me one hour from the East side but I thought it was a well-spent family time. Weather was perfect in December to walk around and take our time. We got to enjoy the sunset from there and did some of the rides as well in their adventure area. The rides were $6.00 per person and that can add up easily so I found that a bit steep. Now the animals were awesome. I loved that they also have a petting zoo where I got to hug many goats and that just made me happy. I also enjoyed the aquarium part but to me the best part was definitely outside seeing the many animals they had including the gorgeous white tiger, super friendly and picturesque meerkat seriously like he was posing for me lol. I loved the "trip" there, it was a day well-spent with my family.

Alana H.

Yelp
10/10 A MUST while in Arizona, prefer it more than the San Diego zoo. During our visit the animals were much more active and lively. Almost every encounter is up close and personal. I really hope this place gets for funding to care for the zoo and its animals. Such a beautiful place, wish I could visit more often.

Jenna M.

Yelp
We make the trip out here once a year with our family and it's always a great time! We are pass holders at the Phoenix zoo but this zoo is a much different experience. We go on GCU alumni day and it's always well ran and worth the entrance fee with everything that's included. We especially love the baby animal area and the aquariums. One year we even feed the sea lions and it was an amazing experience. Can't wait to come back!

Steven F.

Yelp
This is such a fun places to go on a warm day. Lots of shade, and tons of amenities. A playground, many carnival type rides (we love the log flume), and a ton of animals to look at. There's also an indoor gift shop, food options and an indoor aquarium attached to a BBQ restaurant. You will not be bored here!!

Cindy L.

Yelp
Incredible, it was a great place to spend the day. I've never been before so we started with the Rydables ($30 for a hour)that was fun and now I'm not sure if I can go back and not do that! They have RIDES! This zoo is huge is large, clean and nice size spaces for the critters, so be ready to wear some great walking shoes. We didn't make it through it all. They have a aquarium that we had no time to go to, now we will have to go back. We ate at Dillon's yesterday and the food and service was great, thank you, Meagan. The owners of this place must be awesome! I WOULD RECOMMEND

Jacque C.

Yelp
Another great visit to Wildlife World Zoo- seems like each time we come they are adding a new exhibit area or making an improvement somewhere. We came first thing in the morning because in the summer that's what you have to do- otherwise, it could be a bit warm. A suggestion would be providing some shady places or adding foliage to walk ways for some shade. We always do the sky tram and it's nice to have an overview of the facility- unfortunately, this time we noticed lots of items that had obviously been dropped into exhibit enclosures with animals. Some looked to be choking hazards as well as just unsightly to visitors of the zoo. The animals in the morning we very active and some we even got to see get their breakfast- that's always cool! I'm glad places like this exist so we can see animals up close and funds go towards protecting their species.

Aleida N.

Yelp
We had an amazing day here. It was empty. Hot as Hades but plenty of shade areas. Go when they open as the animals tend to hide in the afternoon. There's an extra $6 charge for each of the rides and most were closed today. Most of the concession stands were also closed today. Nonetheless it was great. Lots of space

Amanda A.

Yelp
This zoo is better than Phx zoo in my opinion. I've been here twice and thoroughly enjoyed my time on both occasions. One of my favorite things to do is feed the fish and the giraffes. Make sure to bring quarters to put in the machine for the food. I love how you can just freely feed the giraffes where many zoos you do not have the opportunity or it is very pricey. This last time we went there were these monkeys that were quite loud and kept making siren like noises. They were very entertaining and made us laugh so hard.

Patricia C.

Yelp
On Saturday, January 11, 2025 my family and I visited the Wildlife World Zoo in Litchfield Park, AZ. We arrived at the zoo around 1:15pm. Around 2:45pm or so we decided to get something to eat. We went to Dillions restaurant. My son used the restaurant bathroom when we arrived and said that there was hardly and water coming out of the sinks. We ordered our food and drinks which when the server returned with our drinks told us the water was out and provided us with bottled water. I asked at that time if it was just the restaurant or the whole park. She said she didn't know but that this had happened before. I paid the bill at 3:29 pm. We left the restaurant and my toddler grandson needed to go to the bathroom. There was a family bathroom just outside the restaurant which my son took my grandson to. Again, there was no water. My daughter-in-law and I both needed to use the restroom so we walked back into the park going into several restrooms which, by now, were not usable and still no running water. We talked to the someone at the ticket booth about the situation, but he just said the water was out in the park, probably because of construction going on near there. Since we had only been there a short time we asked if we could get return passes so that we could finish our visit on another day and were told no. My daughter-in-law requested to talk to a manager but in the end all we were given was a name and phone number which she called and to date has never heard from. We had to leave because with no running water or bathroom facilities in a zoo/facility that large we felt was a health hazard given how many people were in the zoo. I contacted the zoo through the website and did receive a response that "the water outage was not something that was within our control. It was most likely due to the construction in the area and the entire area had their water shut off. We hope that you enjoyed the rest of your visit, but we are not able to offer additional tickets at this time." Given the cost to visit the park, I think the least they could have done was given us the opportunity to return at a later date. Needless to say, we will not be returning any time soon.

Brooke S.

Yelp
My family and I went here for Father's Day and my husband and I had so much fun! My kids not so much because it was really hot but my husband and I were like little kids again! lol I LOVE that they had so many different types of monkeys! The monkeys were my most favorite part lol the staff was very nice and informative! We will definitely be going back when it cools down a bit!

Bailey E.

Yelp
(I'd probably leave a 3.5 if it were an option) Tickets: they're pricy at around $46, and they don't include the rollercoaster rides or attractions like the train or lift. However, you can look on Groupon or something similar to get them closer to $30 each, which helps. You can't bring in any food but you can bring in your reusable water bottle. Location: it's out there in Litchfield park by Surprise, and there's not much else around. There are signs as you approach to guide you to parking. Paid attractions: I love the sky lift! It's $6 per person and lasts around $15. It's nice because for most of the day the awning over your head gives you shade and it's a great break from walking around. It also lets you see what's next up to see in the park, or see animals that may be hiding off in the shade to nap. The tram ride is also $6 and definitely worth it at about 20 minutes. It takes you around the whole upper left side and you can fit a big group. The train is great for little kids and takes you around the petting zoo, but we didn't try that or the water slide (which goes into the aquarium!) this time. Overall zoo: the paths are not paved--all dirt--so keep that in mind. It seems like most wheelbarrows and strollers did fine, but I'd be wary on rainy days. There are a lot of birds to overall animal ratio here, especially compared to the Phoenix zoo, but there's some fun stuff like sting ray pets and touch tanks and animal shows/feedings you can see for free. They can definitely use more benches and shade! There's a restaurant on site called Dillon's that serves bbq inside and on a patio you can check out as well as an aquarium and a gift shop. There's a playground near the petting zoo and train which I bet is a great central location for kids. Plenty of bathrooms and the food stalls will fill up your water bottles with ice water for free. No kids or straws are provided that are disposable so the animals don't eat them.

Yelp
the zoo part is nice, adventure land needs some work same with the aquarium, a lot included with entry but aquatic animals are treated poorly with crowded tanks seems like they don't care for fish, some zoo construction but aquarium in bad shape. 100$ for two adults better off going to Phoenix zoo

Yelp
It was such a treat to take the girls again. This was our oldest girls 3rd visit and youngests 2nd. I have been enjoying this zoo since I was in middleschool. If you are budget conscious purchase your tickets on Groupon. It almost double otherwise. It was a last minute planned adventure so I didn't take time to plan ahead. The money goes to a good cause. The zoo is huge. We spent 4 hours there and didn't even explore the newer back two areas. Didn't see any rides active except for the skyride and the train. They have cute rent an animal you can ride around on. I wish they would spend a day taking notes on which food dispensers worked and which don't and have them fixed/replaced/removed/or noted out of order. We spent a lot of money on broken machines. Pay attention to the map they provide as it notes time changes on shows. The kangaroo walk-a-bout was closed for maintenance. I noticed a lot of the fish, birds and snakes and other animals no longer or lower in numbers. I swear there used to be more than one rhino? My favorite exhibits are the giraffes, panther and cheetah exhibit, macaws, Lory feeding exhibit, coi pond, animal petting zoo including turtles, and the California Sea Lions. Right by the panther and cheetahs they building a new exhibit but it is a mystery for what. I should have asked. We had fun taking advantage of the extra experience with the California Sea Lions. We were able to feed them, touch them as they took pictures of us on our phones. We purchased a couple of ornaments they made with the Sea lions using non toxic paint and their cute heart shaped noses. All the employees no matter where we went were super sweet. It was nice being able to bring our own snacks in as our girls are allergic to everything. We all had a great time. Right now Northern is under some major slow moving construction. If you use Google maps you will be able to get the alternate route through the neighborhood. If you are arriving off the 303 you will have no issues. It is easy to be a critique on the zoo, but it takes a lot of time, care and money to feed, care, and maintain. I wish the best for the animals and the zoo. I just love animals.

Yelp
We enjoyed our trip to zoo. There was a platform where you could feed the giraffes. Kangaroos were just out not in cages and you could just walk the path and see them up close. They had a good variety of animals, birds flying free and some peacocks roaming around. Kids enjoyed it. They had a few rides. Zip-line, train ride and carousel. So many different birds.

Yelp
This is probably the biggest zoo I've visited and I've been to San Diego safari/zoo. You get to see animals and aquariums in one ticket. You will find animals outside as well as inside many buildings scattered throughout the park. Start on the right side upon walking in if you go in the morning. It gets hot as the day progresses in month of May. Aquariums are on the left side. Best to go in the aquariums' ACs when it's hotter in the day. Oh and peacocks everywhere. They lay their eggs on top of the cages and saw an egg drop. Splat ‍

Yelp
Great place to spend the day with family. It's just as nice as the Phoenix Zoo, but yet completely different. It's a more country style zoo. I was kissed by a sea lion....DO IT if you can it was a memory worth having. The only sadness is the cost of a membership. $200 per adult and $100 per child..... no family membership.

Yelp
i took my wife and 3 kids under the age of 4. we had an absolute blast. the walk of the whole zoo and exhibits is easily 4-5 hours long. the team there is super friendly and interactive they answer any questions and all employees clearly care of the animals and the tourist experience. with some great attractions to the location like fun rides and punctual event times. you also can learn about all the efforts being turned over, back into the zoo so they can continue to continuously grow their location. lastly, we highly recommend the Dillons BBQ attached. the team was attentive and the whole experience was an absolutely great family day for my entire family.

Yelp
It's been awhile since I've made it out to this zoo and I'm glad I made it out again this place is just huge and spread out so if your worried about social distancing this place will not have issues at all with that. I will say that you can get so much closer to the animals here there not just in a pen and you have to try and find them. A lot of the times they were almost a armlength away where you could almost touch them and you could also see that they are doing so many improvements and upgrades throughout the entire park. They have giraffe feeding , bird feeding and tons of spots for duck and fish feeding just make sure you bring quarters and if you plan on seeing everything plan on being out here about 4 - 5 hours which was a good amount of time, again definitely a great zoo to head to if you want to get up close and personal with the animals.

Yelp
I really enjoyed visiting. There were a lot of exotic animals there that I'd never seen before. While pricey, the rydables are awesome and a great way to see the whole park without having to walk everywhere. It takes about four to five hours to see the whole park.

Yelp
Awesome zoo! Had so much fun and walked for hours looking at the many beautiful animals. Relaxing atmosphere and clean zoo. The staff was very friendly too. I will definitely be back and it's been one of my favorite zoos I've been to.
