"For a family experience with Alpine animals, head to Wildpark Aurach, where you can get close enough to touch around 150 different animals. Expect everything from llamas, sheep, and goats to Shetland ponies, donkeys, rabbits, and guinea pigs, many of which you can feed yourself with carrots and fruit. Be sure to time your visit to the main event at 2:30 p.m., when the staff feeds the majestic deer in their vast enclosures. Note: the deer feeding does not occur during the rutting season from mid-September through mid-November."
This wildlife park has so many animals: goats, deer, donkeys, and much more. You can get really close to many of them, they practically walk right into you, which is very funny. We happened to arrive just as they were being fed, and it was so much fun to see so many animals together at once.

Amazing place where they keep the balance between nature and humans as good as possible. Animals have access to natural resources of water, to places where they can chill without being bothered. The views from all the different places on the route are amazing, it gives you a small and easy impression on all of Austria.
The few negative reviews abt this place testify mostly to the fact that humans have lost their touch with nature.
I come from the Veluwe, another place in Europe where deers are still living in nature. But I never could connect with them better then here in Austria. I'm so blessed to have been here. Thanks and love from the Netherlands 🙌💚

Incredible place to go to! The view was amazing, I can’t believe how lucky we were with the weather! The animals seem to be well taken care of, the goats and donkeys like to cuddle and our 3year old boy was very happy, and so we’re we.
I recommend this place 100%, since it is such a good price and quality value.

It was a super cool place to visit with our two children, however i would consider the paths to be not very safe with a kinder buggey, as it is very steep and rocky... I had to hold on tight and be very careful with footing when Walking the full route with my 1.5 year old!
(If you slip on the path with your child in a buggy i can imagine it would not be good outcome)
After exploring and coming back to the restaurant with two very hungry children we waited to be served for 20-30min, during this time we were not offered a drinks menu or a general order at all... after which we drove to a different restaurant in the area which was more efficient in service.
