Wildside Grill in Tofino stays true to its name—it’s got a wild side in all the best ways! We had the Pork Ciabatta, packed with tender, flavorful meat, the fresh and delicious Tuna Poke Bowl, and the fantastic Cod Burger. The Seafood Chowder Soup was rich and comforting with loads of shrimp, and I also tried Tofino Kombucha for the first time—easily the best kombucha I’ve had! I wasn’t a fan before, but now I am. Love this place and highly recommend it specially for family with children! Worth the price, huge serving. Kids said they love their fries, well so do I! Parking is easy, right beside Chocolate Tacofino. Plus, if you order from here, you get 10% off ice cream at Chocolate Tacofino—what a sweet bonus!

Wildside Grill offers outstanding food with a fantastic variety for both meat and veggie enthusiasts. Their Baja chicken burger was a highlight—juicy, packed with flavor, and complemented by zesty sauces and a generous serving of crispy fries. The veggie burger, with its savory black bean patty, and the fresh veggie ciabatta were equally impressive. The menu shines with diverse options, from burgers and fish and chips to salads and tacos. The outdoor seating creates a vibrant atmosphere, perfectly enhancing the enjoyment of their freshly cooked dishes. Even with the bustling vibe, the service is swift and friendly. Prices are reasonable, offering great value for such high-quality food at a tourist destination. I’m eager to try more of the menu on my next visit!

We spent the day beach hopping in Tofino and got a salmon burger and a chicken burger to go for a beach picnic. The staff are super nice, very hardworking. The portions are very generous and the staff are extremely hardworking. The burgers are grilled, light, and have great ingredients! Excellent fries, too! We took it to the beach, but I LOVED the mural by their eating area.

It's a tasty place for a bit of everything you might be in the mood for. The cod in the fish and chips was cooked well and juicy inside the crispy coating. The fries were mediocre (very standard, nothing crispy enough, nothing special), and the coleslaw was not very good (and I'm not just saying that as someone who doesn't like creamy coleslaws). It tasted like there were golden raisins in it, and that was extra off-putting. The chowder was delightful! So much seafood in this chowder and it was very flavorful and filling. The fresh dill on top was so bright and fragrant. The inari were tasty, but a bit difficult to eat as they were served in a small paper cup, which was soft by the time we were trying to pull the inari out. The cup needed to be bigger, or it should have been served on a small tray so that it could be easily picked up. Watch out for the crows! They're very attentive and assertive. There's even signs to warn not to feed them and to not leave your food unattended. The staff were nice and friendly and seemed to work well as a team together. The bright mural was so nice to sit by and look at as we ate.

Google
This place has huge portions, awesome staff and a covered eating area. There are the crows that will steal your fires so be aware. We got an epic breakfast sandwich, 2 homemade burgers and fries. Staff was super friendly. With your receipt you get 10% off at the Gelato place next door, which is excellent as well. Tacofino gets all the rave reviews, Wildside Grill also does a fish taco and so much more. We ate here after being dissapointed with Tacofino. I would definitely eat here again, cant say the same about tacofino.

The pulled pork cibatta was amazing. Portions are huge and the food is really delicious. They also have a sink to wash your hands.

Wildside Grill in Tofino is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, the laid-back, west coast vibe set the tone for an amazing meal. The seafood is incredibly fresh – the fish tacos were perfectly seasoned, and the fish & chips were cooked to perfection. Moreover, I loved the crispiness of Korean chicken, too. The menu has a great variety, catering to both seafood lovers and those looking for other delicious options. The portions are generous, and everything is packed with flavor. The staff was friendly and efficient. The outdoor seating adds to the charm, making it a perfect spot to enjoy great food in the heart of Tofino. If you’re visiting the area, Wildside Grill is a must-try. Can’t wait to come back!

They accommodated special order for me for which they get special mention. The grilled salmon was fresh and the menu looks well designed. You cant go wrong with anything fish in this place.

Yelp
Listen, I'm sure Tacofino is delicious, but is it 1.5hrs more of your time delicious than Wildside....oh hell nah! Wildside is seriously goooood, fresh seafood. We went with the grilled halibut burger ($17) and worth every looney. If you get the fish tacos you can get the surf n turf sampler of Baja style (fried cod), salmon & carnitas in one order which I highly recommend. Plenty of outdoor seating including in the back.

Nicole L.

Yelp
Went for the one piece fish and chips and shared a small bowl of chowder. Fish was hot, fresh, crispy and moist. Not at all greasy. You get LOTS of fries so the one piece is a hearty meal. Chowder is as packed with seafood and delicious as well.

Steph C.

Yelp
This place was pretty awesome. Order at the counter and they call your name when food is ready. Some picnic tables surround the area for easy seating. Came on a Monday in June around 6:30 and were able to order quickly and food also came out quickly. Got the fried fish tacos, pulled pork poutine, kids burger, and cod fish and chips. Fish tacos were topped a tasty pico de gallo, son liked the poutine fries, other son enjoyed the burger, and my fried cod was pretty good--crispy coating though it did tend to fall off a bit. Save the receipt and get 10% off next door at chocolate tofino gelato. Would def be back!

Tiff K.

Yelp
We came here after surfing and really worked up an appetite. We had stumbled on this little spot the day before and were captivated by their diverse menu. We really wanted to try the fish dishes. A surprisingly nice dish was the clam chowder. We especially enjoyed the tuna burgers and three out of four of us ordered it. It is a outdoor stall, format and service is very efficient and friendly. The ambience is busy and there were a lot of ravens around, but they were an interesting companion to our meal time.

Stacey S.

Yelp
What a hidden gem with friendly and energetic service as well as delicious food!! Incredible value for the price, so worth it. Tried a tuna burger and cod fish and chips, tasty and exactly what we were looking for. The ambiance is relaxed and outdoorsy. Overall we really enjoyed our visit, will recommend to friends and will be back next time we are on the coast.

Marianne D.

Yelp
I've been to the Wildside Grill twice now and hope I can go back again before I leave Tofino. I had the BBQ pork on ciabatta and the pork poutine so far and wouldn't hesitate to get either again except that then I couldn't taste a new favorite! Highly recommend for delicious food and friendly, helpful service.

Anthony C.

Yelp
Had some tacos here - not bad at all. Had the cod tacos and the Carnitas tacos and they come with fries. Nice little lunch. Picnic table seating, diner style trays. People were chill.

Sara G.

Yelp
Unbelievably good salmon tacos with bright flavor from the avotillo sauce. The poutine was extremely salty though, and the prices were pretty high.

Teresa H.

Yelp
Went for a a road trip out to Tofino with my daughter. Tofino was amazing and we explored so many areas there. I had to write a review for this little place that we found located in an adorable space along the Highway. First off, the staff is amazing!! They were all super friendly and happy to give advice and get your order right. It appeared that locals frequented this restaurant, parking was easy, we loved the seating and food. We ordered the cod fish with fries and I was really tempted to get the oysters with fries... Maybe next time. The cod burger was heaven and I was not able to finish it all. Fries were delightful as well. I would highly recommend this outdoor dining experience to anyone traveling along this way. It is not fancy but, the food is on point for what it is!! Photos that have already been posted.

Aaron W.

Yelp
Wildside carnitas are ON POINT! I could have done without the white cheddar on the tacos but you know what you can scrape it off and add it to? THE GUMBO!!! Insider tip: grab some verde Tofino Hot sauce at the mini-grocery next door and add some FIRE to that gumbo!

Clarence E.

Yelp
Gotta stop here for food in Tofino. It's a takeout stand with outdoor tables, if it wasn't raining and a cold winter day, that is ... so we ate in the car and steamed up the glass. First, I'll say that I'm going to stop ordering poutine in the future since I'm inevitably disappointed. The gumbo poutine was no exception. It was good but not great. Fries were tasty and the gumbo added flavor but didn't hit all the buttons. The bowl of gumbo ordered on its own by my wife was good and hearty. I couldn't decide on f'n'c or poutine, so I ordered one piece of fish and poutine. The fries were fresh but next time, I'll stick to fish and chips. Why? Now, that piece of fish was phenomenally tasty! One of the best I've tasted. It was crispy and not oily. The cod was piping hot, moist and the tartar sauce with some acidity gave it a wonderful balance. The batter had a great crunch. Wow! The tacos were a hit and another good choice. The salmon was very flavorful and the only one I tried of the trio ordered (fish, salmon and carnitas). They came on a nice soft taco. The chowder was gone before I had a chance to look back so I'm assuming it was good. No pictures as this motley crew were starved and wet, but we'll definitely be back in warmer months so we can sit outside or at the beach.

Chelsey H.

Yelp
Grab some hot chowder or gumbo, tacos or fish and chips, well why not everything and head to the beach?! Quick tips and menu items we ordered: - Quicker line up than Tacofino - Cash only though so come prepared - Saw people talking about oysters on here but never saw them on the menu *sad face - Fish Tacos ($15) tempura battered cod, mixed cabbage, avotillo, chipolte mayo topped with salsa crude and lime - Cod 2 piece ($17) with housemade tartar sauce, coleslaw and fries I've heard great things about their Gumbo, but we opted for fish tacos and fish and chips, because it just seems like the thing to do! It was about $40~ dollars for 3 tacos and 2 piece fish and chips and a kombucha but the quality of our food was great and tasty. Portion size good.

Stacy T.

Yelp
High quality, tasty food. No plantbased options but they can substitute cheese or extra veggies to vegetarianise or veganise any item. Was surprised that fish less fish tacos were so good considering they were tacos with lots of tomato and coleslaw, but it is highly recommended. Portions are decent sized and with the great taste; very good value for money!

Michelle W.

Yelp
Simply the best. I have only been to Tofino twice and both times, I have gone to Wildside Grill (to the point where I had it two days in a row on my second trip). Their fried oyster burger is a must order item. Paired with their fish 'n' chips and/or their chowder, you will be in seafood heaven. FRIED OYSTER BURGER ($15): Perfection! There are 2 fried oysters (though there may have been 3 for my first trip) packed inside of a sweet brioche bun, along with lettuce, tomato, red onion, and a delicious sauce. Both the oysters and the fries on the side are fried beautifully: crunchy exterior, soft interior, and minimal oil residue. The oysters in particular are so plump and the meat is creamy with just the right amount of that brininess I love so much. Unfortunately, I did find a piece of hair in my fries last time, but by then, I had scarfed down most of my meal and also couldn't be bothered. FISH 'N' CHIPS (Ling Cod) ($13 for 1 pc or $17 for 2 pcs): The batter for the cod is great and helps the cod to hold up its shape, bite after bite. I think the cod this time may have been a touch overcooked, but it was still flaky and delicious nonetheless. Like the oyster burger, this too is served with fries. There is also the option to add another piece of fish for $6/pc. CHOWDER ($6 half, $11 full): When I think of chowder, I think of this Boston-style white chowder brimming with chunks of seafood (cod, salmon, and baby shrimp), in addition to bacon, corn, and potatoes. Had it been served hotter, it would've been up there with the fried oyster burger. Given that Tacofino is on the same lot, there isn't much of a concern with lineups here. If I'll be honest though, I think people should spare themselves the wait and come to Wildside Grill instead: it offers a variety of mouthwatering dishes with fresh, high-quality seafood at a reasonable price. (However, I also don't like lineups, so the current situation works out perfectly for me.) In terms of seating, it may be hard to find a table without people or bird poop, but this is a minor downside to the incredible food here. Two thumbs up!!! PS: Wildside Grill, please consider opening another location in Victoria and/or Vancouver!

Meredith R.

Yelp
Easily the best piece of fried fish I have ever had. I got the one piece fish and chips (which was huge!). There were a ton of fries, half of which I didn't; finish, but I ate every bite of the fish. Yum!

Robert F.

Yelp
We had the salmon burger and the veggie ciabatta. The avotillo sauce is amazing! The fries were crispy and salty and plentiful. We came back the next day and had two salmon burgers because we couldn't get enough of that sauce! The location is super cute, especially in the evening when the lights turn on. The staff was friendly. We would definitely return!

Nicole O.

Yelp
Absolutely the best fish and chips! Incredible crispy batter with moist and tasty fish. The portions are huge, you'll only need the extra fish piece if you've worked up a serious appetite. The fries were perfect too. There's some nice picnic tables with some plastic roofing on top, and we had an awesome meal even though it was pouring rain. Hands down one of the best meals we had on the island, go here!

Mads B.

Yelp
Great fish and chips. I had the 1 piece cod and fries. Very flavorful and more than enough food for dinner. The fish was fried nicely - not greasy and the fish was still flaky. The complimentary cucumber and lemon water is a nice touch. Overall, a great place for dinner.

Jasmin G.

Yelp
Beware of the crows! haha. As a fan of oysters I had to see what the deal was with the fried oysters & chips. Very LARGE oysters, about 5 pieces with yummy fries. Oysters were cooked great, quite crispy. Coleslaw was alright. The tartar sauce with the regular cod fish & chips I found was better, taste wise. There wasn't really much drink selection i.e. cola etc. The seating is outdoors with semi covered picnic tables. The crows in the parking lot here do lurk so dont leave your food unattended!

Heather C.

Yelp
We popped in 20 minutes before closing. They were so friendly & willing to feed us. Pork tacos, salads & burgers I heard words like "best burger & fries I've ever had" from my family!!

Cindy B.

Yelp
Excellent food in a cool, casual vibe setting! Baja chicken sandwich and gumbo are awesome!

Gabriel K.

Yelp
Not fancy & good value for the flavor, ingredients and portion size. Lots of locals. Food is pickup or dine in this cute outdoor picnic tabled grotto (with umbrellas). The guys who run it have a fun, upbeat vibe that makes this place feel legit. Gumbo & clam chowder are both tasty and complement each other. Gumbo is full-bodied, like a red wine; chowder is lighter like white. When in doubt, get 'em both! $6 half cup or $11 full. I splurged & got full cups and it's too much for this hungry man! (Maybe do 1.5 cups if you're hungry)

Aaron G.

Yelp
We were first here in 2012 and I have been craving the Cod Club ever since. Bacon and fish on the same burger blew me away back then. Well, 11 years later it didn't disappoint. Just as good as I remembered it. Came with a ton of fries that were hot and crispy. My wife upgraded her fries to poutine, which was really good. The kids had the vegetarian ciabatta and both gave it two thumbs up, which is a rarity. The employees were all working hard and service was top notch. Great vibe, will be back before we leave this week.

Suzanne Y.

Yelp
Was in tofino for a short little getaway last month and as I was headed to the infamous Tacofino food truck, noticed this gem tucked away in the same little "square"! Then I realized this was one of the places suggested to us by friends, and for good reason! We got the halibut fish and chips and a beef burger. The halibut was cooked perfectly, flakey and juicy! So crispy too. I was happy with the portion size, quite generous and not overly battered. I enjoy the panko as it's lighter and didn't feel oily. The burger was a solid contender, juicy patty, delicious seasoning, and just simple. But sometimes it's the simple things that are the hardest to get right, right? Definitely had a lot of fries leftover to nibble on throughout the day. Love those crispy fluffy thick potatoey fries! Will definitely come back to try more of their menu when I get a chance to visit tofino again!

Mary H.

Yelp
We were on the island and were hungry for tacos. This plaza was slammed on a Tuesday afternoon! I stood in line for 30+ minutes. Tacofino's line was like 50 people deep. The food was delicious despite the wait. The salmon and fish tacos were fried perfectly and crispy. The pico de gallo was fresh and delicious. All of the sauces on the tacos were homemade and very tasty. The Avodillo sauce on the carnitas was a fresh take on a salsa verde. You can call in orders and wish we did this. I love that they sell local kombucha from Tofino. The kombucha was a perfect compliment to the tacos. Phone in your order if you go!

Jon L.

Yelp
perfect location for me during my stay at ocean village. friendly and hardworking staff manning the counter... we ordered the clam chowder, salmon tacos, and the salmon fish and chips. both fish entrees used real fish chunks. nice colours and textures. fish very flaky and not dry. nice coleslaw and tartar sauce to go with it. only issue was the fries were nothing to rave about. bland and became soggy quick. i also liked the outdoor seating. very close to nature and nice tree-like canopy. best dish for me was the clam chowder. for the price you get a huge tub loaded - and i mean loaded- with lots of goodness. creamy and velvety smooth. one of the best ive ever had in my life. no after taste or canned stuff. just simple ingridients from the sea. fresh and very fresh! when in tofino...dont forget to drop by this place. yes, it could be a little pricey than your neighbourhood fish and chips place...but mind you, you are situated at the edge of the pacific rim..lol. they even provided lemon and cucumber water...and have a hand washing sink out front. love it! cheers! happy eating!

Wilson L.

Yelp
The salmon tacos here are amazing! The food is delicious and the service was fairly fast and friendly. Definitely recommend checking this place out for a meal! The poutine was really good too.

Ashley Z.

Yelp
Don't get fooled by the setting of the place. They got good quality food. Their fish and chips is really fresh taste and big portion. Their chowder is loaded with seafoods. I got the wrong order of fries, when I told them, they were super apologetic and offered me with 2 poutines, I didn't take the extra one. But that just shows their awesome customer service. Super happy that we tried this place out instead of fancy restaurant. Def coming back

Dede S.

Yelp
Everything is amazing here! Delicious poutine with mushroom gravy and the tacos were fresh and tasty!

Jasmine L.

Yelp
I ordered their Cod and Salmon fish & chips. Both were Panko breaded & fried with large portions. Both fishes were still moist but the salmon was my favourite! The fillet was beautiful with even fatty layers. The crunchy panko coating complimented the salmon fish the best. I prefer the traditional flour coating that other places (like Red Fish Blue Fish in Victoria, BC) do for the cod better. Love the green apple slaw. Generous with 2 small containers of tar tar sauce. The fries were crispy and golden with a salty seasoning. On the side of the ordering window, there's 2 jugs of cucumber or lemon infused water that you can help yourself to, a hand wash station ready, and a condiment & utensils tray. There's lots of sunny & shaded seating available. Make sure you keep you receipt to get 10% off at chocolate tofino !

Emily C.

Yelp
This place is fantastic way better setup lots of shade and a ton of staff that even a long line goes quick. Everything also is really tasty and cost effective for anyone on a budget because the portions are massive can be easily shared. We love this place and will definitely be back!

Ray I.

Yelp
A now popular hidden gem of tofino. Quick and efficient service. Food is fresh, you get what you pay for, and tasty. Been here 3 times now and never disappoints. A must when in Tofino (or near by areas). The poutine never disappoints. I prefer the west coast; however, pulled pork is porky-delicious too.

C K.

Yelp
Cod fish & chips were tasty & hubby was satisfied with his salmon tacos. We were a little disappointed with the chowder & cole slaw. Not accustomed to corn, shrimp & dill in my chowder. Slaw needed something, maybe a little mayo/vinegar.

Rance W.

Yelp
get your taco here. The other guys line is not worth the wait. plus a couple more food options. and get a discount on gelato for dessert !

Jennifer C.

Yelp
Stopped by for a late bite one night and ordered the spicy chicken tacos and the Carnitas tacos. The carnitas wasn't very spicy, but loaded with shredded pork and the chicken tacos were delicious. I love the fact that Wildside Grill uses corn tortillas and not flour tortillas, as those other guys do. The tacos were filled with generous amounts of delicious toppings and were delicious. Definitely recommended.

Morgan R.

Yelp
I just love this place. Adored by locals, surfers and tourists alike, the fish & chips are fabulous, the fried oysters tasty and succulent, the fish tacos amazing. This is cheap eats with good quality ingredients (well, not always cheap eats, depends what you order). And there are so many things to try (salads, tacos, soup, chowder, poutine ...) This is a must stop -- it's outside of town (on the way in), so easy to drive by, but that'd be a mistake.

Sangeetha M.

Yelp
There aren't too many options in Tofino and this was a top rated place. I tried their oyster burger and it was very filling. I couldn't finish it. Food is very fresh, and they make it really quickly. It's an outdoor place with little tables outside and lights. I can see it being a fun spot in the summer. Since it was freezing out I had to get it to go. Quite a lot of people had ordered for pick up. The burgers were about $15 each. They have taco options too but I didn't get to try them. There are gluten free options too.

Carly G.

Yelp
Best gluten free bun of my life! The salmon burger with avocado aioli dressing was phenomenal. I ended up coming back here a few times in my short trip to Tofino, because the gluten free bun really was that good. Portions are large, and the food tastes really fresh.

Dana A.

Yelp
Delicious! Oyster special was incredible. Brought home a bucket of the seafood chowder - incredible!

Marie B.

Yelp
Gluten free bun! I was extremely happy that they have grilled chicken and grilled salmon...no batter! I had the salmon burger on a gluten free bun. The bun fell apart by the last bite but that is to be expected with gluten-free bun. The salmon was tasty. The fries were also good.

Agnes K.

Yelp
This place is underrated! This is my second time here. Compared to the Tacofino truck, this place didn't have a line up when I came while our friends waited forever for their tacos at Tacofino. This place's fish tacos are fresh and delicious and their Westcoast Poutine is to die for. It's a southern comfort kind of poutine. Yum! It's a must try.

Sandie B.

Yelp
This was a darn good burger in a cute locale on the outskirts of Tofino. It came with some pretty tasty fries, too. And if you're still hungry for dessert, there's a gelato place steps away, and you get a discount if you've eaten at Wildside Grill. While we waited for our burgers to be cooked, we walked around in the surf shop across the way. Once the food came, it was hard to find a place to sit, so we got ours to go and drove across the street to the beach to eat there.

West C.

Yelp
The food is great and they always get the orders right! We will continue to be repeat customers!

Serge D.

Yelp
The best roadside surfer seafood grill in North America. Super fresh sustainably harvested local seafood and very friendly and knowledgeable owner. Go for a surf and stop by and try fish tacos, the grilled salmon burger and seafood gumbo. I surf and work in Baja and this beats anything there. Serge Dedina, Executive Director, WiLDCOAST, www.wildcoast.net

Ella M.

Yelp
I simply can't imagine a better fish taco. Tasty ling cod, yummy salsa fresca, lots of cabbage and really lovely creamy sauce, with a bit of cheese. My only (teeny tiny) complaint is that the corn shells were a bit tough. It is slightly expensive, but you're in Tofino, where food is expensive, so instead focus on the quality of the fish. Delicious, flaky, tender... totally worth it. Of course, this forgiving attitude might be tempered by the sunlight that was streaming down on me... had it been pouring, I might not have enjoyed it quite as much. (I hear the oyster burger is excellent)

Nique A.

Yelp
I looked up this place before we came so I was quite excited to eat here based on the reviews and beautiful pictures. The menu I looked at on their website is slightly different than the one they currently use at the store front. The options are plenty so something for all taste buds. The prices are average for Tofino area. If you are just visiting you might find it pricey. Truthfully for the serving you receive and the fact that it is quality items being sold it's worth the money . They even catch some of their own seafood , which is awesome . The food is plentiful you get these homecut fries cooked to perfection with a nice crunch just how I like it. I usually have to ask for my fries to be cooked to crisp but this place knows how to cook a great French fry :) I ordered the cod since the halibut was out of season. The cod was Panko crusted double diped and crunchy on the outside. Nice moist flakey inside which came w homemade tartar sauce (2 servings per order). The fish itself could hve used some flavour/seasoning but it wasn't too bland. Plus the tartar dip really kicked it up a notch. Others at my table got the beef burger and chicken burger ...which they also really enjoyed and chowed dwn before I could snap.a decent picture lol Customer service here is ok ..you only order your food once you receive it you sit down and fend for yourself . It's like a walk up window and benches under a lil hut. Or you can get it to go. My interaction was fine with the girl that took my order but no smile or anything special there. I'd definitely come back here over and over because I mean freshly caught and cooked seafood . How can you say no? I'm hoping to try breakfast there in the morning.

Charlie P.

Yelp
I was thinking salmon burger, but no, that's real fish! And we'd never heard of a halibut burger (I mean, why would you grind up halibut?). But that's real fish too! And I couldn't get enough of the fries. Fresh fish. Best food in Tofino hands down. (Ask the birds.) Great food, great value.

Scott K.

Yelp
Went twice in two days, both for dinner. Had tacos both nights. First, we did grilled haddock and the carnitas. The haddock was tasty, and my sense is that the tempura batter that is used for the fried version is tasty as well. My partner's gluten free diet means I don't indulge when we share. In any case, the carnitas were a messy, tangy, but somewhat too sweet delight. The grilled salmon tacos were good as well on the second night. The corn shells were fresh, as was the plentiful salsa. To the British family that was waxing philosophical about the cod--gawd help you. In all your dithering about whether you should do cod and chips or something else, you ended up spending $13 more than you needed to. Instead of ordering two single portions, just get a double portion for a few dollars more and split the awesome fries, which are plentiful. My point--portions are generous and forget pondering the virtue of cod--you're at a friggin outdoor grill. Live a bit and just enjoy how they make a boring whitefish come to life on your dull British palate!

Lydia Chur E.

Yelp
This is a fabulous find, reasonably priced by Tofino standards and would be welcomed in any town anywhere. (Well maybe not snooty East or West coast towns which shall remain nameless.) This is an order at the window kind of place, so there is not much service, but the food was cooked quickly. We had fish tacos, which were delicious. The fresh fish was tasty and the fixins inside were flavorful. We also had fried prawns. Honestly, the local prawns aren't as "shrimpy" as Gulf Coast shrimp - and I like shrimpy. But they were fresh and the chile sauce that came with it was perfect. I was really wowed by the crisp, housemade fries. The caesar salad was large, but nothing to write home about. The seating is all outdoors, under trees, with some unique tables and palapa (for lack of a better word). You hardly notice you are just off the parking lot.
