This boutique hotel has just 10 villas allowing around 22 guests to enjoy the magnificent location by the raging Victoria Nile.|The staff are generally lovely, including the boat boys and night security who sometimes escort you back in the evening to tour villa- a nice touch as there are many spiders and bugs on the sides of the walkways. |We had particularly good service from Moses and Harrington in the restaurant and main lobby.|We stayed in the 2-bed villa, which consists of a ground floor and a lower ground floor bedroom accessed via a hatch in the floor. The lower ground accommodation isn't very well set up, lacks headboards, bedside tables, and bedside power points. The space is dark unless you open the two wooden double doors, but these have no insect mesh screens, and thus, you allow all these bugs to enter your sleeping space. We weren't keen on this and thus left them closed. Also, in the lower bedroom, the noise of the rapids is augmented by the proximity of the water and the hard surfaces it is noisy to sleep although you do tune this out.||Richard, the manager, understood our concerns and dealt with the issues we raised as best he could. We therefore award a 5 rating.|Apart from the amazing location and good food, the hotel is simple - don't expect fancy.|The pool is small and really suitable just to dip. |Overall, it is worth a visit for the stunning location|
