Lemala, Wild Waters is truly a magical haven! From the serene surroundings to the impeccable service, every detail is thoughtfully designed to create an unforgettable experience. The breathtaking views, luxurious accommodations, and warm hospitality made our stay extraordinary. It holds a special place in my heart as the place where my fiancé proposed, making it a moment I will treasure forever. The team ensured every moment was perfect, and I cannot wait to return to relive the magic. Lemala is a perfect destination for love, relaxation, and creating lasting memories. Highly recommended for a truly enchanting escape.

Holiday Perfect destination, awesome staff and great services. Bungee jump was magical. Rooms and surrounding clean, organised and neat. Great food and wines. Had longed to visit Lemala and the experience was exactly as anticipated. Will come again!

The most unique and remote resort we have ever experienced - and that goes for all 3 retired couples in our group. In fact it was so wonderful we changed our plans and were able to spend a second night at Lamala! We stayed in their sister property Adrift our first night of 3 (were arriving too late to transfer to the island upon our arrival) which is lovely with a pool, spacious tented rooms throughout the grounds and dining area from forested cliffs high above the Nile. BUT Lemala Wildwaters Lodge in the midst of roaring rapids with huge tented accommodations complete with footed tubs on your private deck spread out across the island and connected by elevated walkways to the common shared spaces with a pool, bar, dining and lounge area all overhanging raging rapids (they don't even raft it because it's too dangerous) an AMAZING experience. Chef prepared, beautifully presented and served by a terrific team made every meal a treat. Huge portion sizes, we tried to share numerous dishes. We each enjoyed massages (mine with Winnie on our deck overlooking the rapids - no spa music necessary). |It's difficult to get to - 3+ hour drive (which they arranged) from Entebbe airport but certainly an interesting experience to travel the roads of Uganda across Kampala and onto the resort through cities, towns and villages. If you could arrange to fly into Jinja that would make it very accessible. |Some in our group rafted and we all experienced the Source of the Nile boat excursion - history, wildlife and a beautiful boat ride with an excellent guide. |This stay was planned to rest up post travel from the US before we began a Ugandan Gorilla trekking stay and Kenyan safari. It ended up being a highlight of our entire trip. A shout out to Sasha that answered a million questions and assisted us before and during out stay!

Wow! Wildwaters Lodge was the perfect start to our honeymoon! From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by breathtaking views and the soothing sounds of the river.||Our private deck became our little paradise. Each evening, we enjoyed candlelit dinners with stunning sunsets as our backdrop. The staff went above and beyond, surprising us with a romantic setup in our room—rose petals and bubble baths galore!||We loved the mix of adventure and relaxation. We loved the rafting and pizza at the sister company, Adrift. ||Harrington, Brenda, Armstrong, Stella and Patrick were all superb.||If you’re seeking romance and adventure, Wildwaters Lodge is a must! We can’t wait to return! ||Mr and Mrs Byara

An oasis on the Nile. From the moment we arrived until we checked in, we were floored by the astounding beauty of this lodge and its location which is right on the elbow of the Nile. We appreciated everything including the wonderful greetings from the manager Robinson to Armstrong who checked us and finally the amazing service and care of Moses and Brenda!!! Then there was Bran who walked us through the pathways of the lodge showing us the red tailed monkeys that live nearby and the beautiful falls.

This boutique hotel has just 10 villas allowing around 22 guests to enjoy the magnificent location by the raging Victoria Nile.|The staff are generally lovely, including the boat boys and night security who sometimes escort you back in the evening to tour villa- a nice touch as there are many spiders and bugs on the sides of the walkways. |We had particularly good service from Moses and Harrington in the restaurant and main lobby.|We stayed in the 2-bed villa, which consists of a ground floor and a lower ground floor bedroom accessed via a hatch in the floor. The lower ground accommodation isn't very well set up, lacks headboards, bedside tables, and bedside power points. The space is dark unless you open the two wooden double doors, but these have no insect mesh screens, and thus, you allow all these bugs to enter your sleeping space. We weren't keen on this and thus left them closed. Also, in the lower bedroom, the noise of the rapids is augmented by the proximity of the water and the hard surfaces    it is noisy to sleep although you do tune this out.||Richard, the manager, understood our concerns and dealt with the issues we raised as best he could. We therefore award a 5 rating.|Apart from the amazing location and good food, the hotel is simple - don't expect fancy.|The pool is small and really suitable just to dip. |Overall, it is worth a visit for the stunning location|

My stay at Lemala Wild Waters Lodge was truly magical. It’s a place where luxury meets nature, and the exceptional service and stunning surroundings make it a standout destination. If you’re looking for a unique and peaceful getaway, I can’t recommend this lodge enough!||The sound of the rapids in the night, you literally feel the bed shake - it is both a scary and an exciting 😌 experience!
