Will Rogers International Airport

This is my first time flying to this Airport and I must say I have pleasant experience. Mid size international Airport but very well organised and spacious compare to some of the congested airport in USA. Quick and easy to navigate entire Airport. Car rental facially is not too far from the airport with shuttle. So many negative reviews I see for this airport, not sure either I’m lucky to have nothing but all good to me or my timing to and from the airport.

This was my first time flying out of OKC and I have to say that it was a pleasant experience. I think it was the quickest I have ever gone through security (pretty sure it was either 5 minutes or less). Although it wasn’t that busy (I’ve been told that this airport is never that busy), the TSA employees were also efficient and professional as well. The airport and bathrooms are super clean and feels modern. The one downfall is that there really aren’t that many food options and the wifi is on the slow side (adequate speeds for entertainment but not speed intensive work).

I was honestly surprised by how nice Will Rogers International Airport is. I didn’t expect it to be this cool for a smaller city, but it’s modern, clean, and has a really comfortable vibe. The layout is simple, everything’s easy to find, and there are plenty of food options not just basic stuff, but some interesting spots to grab a bite. The place feels new and well kept, and the staff were friendly too. Overall, it’s a great airport, super chill and pleasant to be in. Definitely one of those places that makes travel feel easy.

Mid range airport. Not alot of options for food or snacks after security. Some gates has charging stations at seats and tables, mine didn't. Very open. Not many people. TSA was a walk through. No wait, no line.

The airport is clean and has good amenities. My main complaint is that the USB charging stations and outlets rarely provide power. It's annoying to take your seat and find the provided power sources near you are inoperable.

Maintained. Cleaned often. It's quite expensive, like most airports. It's pretty quiet except some instrumental music playing in the background and the occasional announcements. I have been to many airports in the last few decades. This is my favorite one. This airport is one building with three levels for passengers, 32 gates. Easy wheelchair access. My daughter just left on her first international flight, departing from Will Rogers. She was able to get in and through security quickly. My favorite part was the observation deck for families and friends-I was able to watch my “baby” until she made it through security and headed to her gate. 😭 It was so calm and peaceful up there. I’m really thankful they added that feature.

Awesome airport. The YMCA is for all military. Veterans included. I loved the USO in other places. But that’s for active duty. To have a place for veterans is amazing. Visit and donate to the coin wall. The food in the terminal could have healthier options. Met with a friend from Colorado Shout out to the Fox Den in Fort Collins

Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City is a solid 4-star experience!. The terminal feels hygienic clean, modern, and easy to navigate, and getting through security and to the gates is generally quick and low-stress. What stands out most is how friendly and welcoming the staff are, from check-in to the gate. The public areas, restrooms, and seating zones are well maintained, and there are plenty of seats with good views of the tarmac. Dining and coffee options are decent for a smaller airport, with a mix of local flavors and familiar chains, though the selection still feels a bit limited compared to bigger hubs.

As an airport, this place is efficient. Now the TSA staff, not so much... why the 3 stars... there are some power-drunk folks over there... and trust me if LAX allows it... OKC shouldn't be an issue... They also took away the TukTuk coffee... another reason for the 3 stars... oh and the coffee vendors in general, really need better training in how to make a cup of coffee, and customer service... Bathrooms are clean, that's a plus.

This is a decent mid sized airport. The rental car facility is located off-airport and you have to take about a 5-minute shuttle ride to get there. The airport was very clean and updated. The chairs were comfortable and TSA was easy to clear. The staff there were mostly all friendly. The airport is named after, Oklahoma native, comedian and legendary cowboy Will Rogers. Sadly Rogers died in airplane crash in 1935. I did not see a lot of shops at the airport. There was a Starbucks, newsstand, a Freddy's, Hatch, Tropical Smoothie, and elemental coffee. The major fast food restaurants are notably absent in this airport and I do not know why. This airport is a single concourse airport with 32 gates split between 3 levels. It is a very simple layout. You will fine an observation deck in the East Concourse. This is a nice small-medium airport that is easy to get in and out of. I am not a fan of off site rental car centers, and wish they had more food options. However, this airport is efficient and is easy to get in and out of.

This is a nice, modern and clean airport. The gates offer plenty of seating and there are many places to eat and shop. The TSA area has distinct sections for general boarding, TSA pre-check and Clear. Overall a nice and easy airport to go through. When you arrive, interesting enough the Ride share pick-up section is upstairs in the departures area.

Though it's on the smaller (and older) end of international airports, it's clean and easy to navigate. Don't expect anything fancy here -- there are only a handful of restaurants and shops -- but short security lines make up for a lack of bells and whistles (at least in my mind). As someone visiting the city/state for the first time, I thought the native plants and landscaping outside the airport entrance was a nice touch.

This is a pretty nice, smaller airport. There aren't a ton of options if you are looking for sustenance, but they have their bases covered. It is easy to get around, and they have good seating. All the windows give you good lighting but it does get warm in the height of summer. However I'd you score a seat by the window, there are floor vents shooting out air and it is a comfortable sit while you are delayed.

Not the biggest place but they get the job done. No issues or long wait times. I was able to get through security screening with ease.

The airport is not large, but it is modern and comfortable. They had a few restaurants and shops. I really liked the souvenir shops. The TSA staff were professional and friendly. I loved the large glass views of the planes. It really opened the space. The bathrooms were clean and they even had restrooms for pets. I wouldn't,have a problem flying into this airport (outside of tornado season).

Smaller airport, but not as small as Butte or Grand Forks. Need to grab a shuttle to get to the rental car facility here. Not a long wait for bags or the rental shuttle at least.

The OKC Airport is smaller, so easy to navigate. TSA Precheck is quick and efficient; however, the regular security line is always pretty long and slow. Not many food options here. If arriving, find a local restaurant nearby. If departing, find a restaurant before you go to the airport. One item of note - if you are arriving or departing from gates 1-8, the nearest restroom is by gates 9-10. The women's restrooms here are HORRIBLE! Each time I have flown in/out of OKC (4x in the last 6 months), the women's restroom at gate 9-10 is beyond disgusting. Only 2 stalls are working, others have black trash bags over the bowls. And...the smell is awful. The airport should invest in a plumbing service, cleaning service, and air fresheners.

Fantastic airport that is constantly growing and adding more stores/restaurants as well as direct destinations to fly to. I'm 5 more years, this might become a major travel hub.

First time at will rogers airport, open spaces, friendly people, willing to answer any questions and not act like your bothering them, take note LAX, SEA . GREAT lil airport that makes you feel welcome.

This airport is so pretty outside. I like that this airport is pretty small and not too confusing. Whether I'm flying American or southwest same great service.

It is an airport so I guess I can't quite give any of them a five star review ha ha but I was fairly impressed with this airport. Not very big, but I like the layout which is kind of like a circular shape. There is a lot of space and it wasn't too crazy busy. There was no trouble finding a place to sit. I was looking for a more quiet and less crowded space and I was easily able to find it. Which was nice because there are no lounges in this airport. Pretty new and updated. Everywhere I was at was clean. I had no complaints. There was a good variety of food and wait times for food were not long. I took a shuttle from the rental car return area to the airport. I was able to get on a shuttle right away and the drive was quick. All around, very little wait time. Of the better airport experiences I have had.

When my family and I landed at Will Rogers World Airport - OKC from Las Vegas, we were in awe at how beautiful the airport is! It's also a relatively small airport than what we're used to, being local to Las Vegas! OKC has a variety of airlines that are in service. Alaska Airlines Allegiant American Airlines Delta Frontier Airlines Southwest United My family and I had a non-stop round-trip flight from Las Vegas to OKC, the week before the holidays. We experienced no delays and had such a wonderful time going through OKC. The security was pretty easy since it's a relatively small airport. If you're renting a vehicle, there is a complimentary shuttle from the airport that will take you over to the car rental place. Our flight arrived and departed from the Center Concourse. There are a variety of food and beverage options available. On our flight leaving OKC, we ended up grabbing some breakfast from Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers. Food options: Center concourse: Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steak Burgers Tropical Smoothie Cafe Hatch Early Mood Food (Opening March 2024!) On the West Concourse are the following options Experience Tuk Tuk Go! Osteria Elemental Coffee East Concourse: Vino Volo Starbucks Tripadvisor Bathrooms are clean, and there are multiple available depending on the gate you're located at. There are plenty of seats available at each gate. The team members at OKC are friendly and helpful!

Overall experience with this airport was okay, with some issues. First issue is that the directions to the car rental shuttle need to be posted more clearly, and the waiting area needs to be both better marked and more well lit. Second issue is that some gates do not have any screens displaying which flight that gate is preparing to depart. I was flying southwest and if the gate had changed, I would've had no idea. There was no screen, and an agent didn't arrive at the gate until within ten minutes of expected boarding. Positive things: there are some places to grab food or drink (Starbucks for all you coffee people), and there were some working dogs that looked very happy with their jobs!

I don't think I've ever had a flight leave or land on time while traveling through this airport. My luggage has also been lost multiple times while flying out of here. To be nice the airport is usually very clean and staff is very friendly!

I have been to the airport 3 times in the last 24 hours! Although Oklahoma has a fairly small airport it is very efficient. I've never had problems with parking or baggage it's fairly easy to check in as long as your arrive timely. I've had the cancelled flights and other problems but most often everything is resolved quickly and to my satisfaction.

I was here for a quick layover and it did the job. There didn't seem to be a ton of food options but it had a couple places though I was surprised no BBQ place. The seats were comfortable with power plugs for charging and the airport is very bright with lots of natural light. I'd fly through here again without any issues.

We flew in and out of here when attending our nephew's graduation from Langston U. In Norman, Ok. Arriving was easy to get our luggage and take the shuttle to the car rental place, and returning the car was just as easy. They don't have curbside check in (that we could tell) but checking in inside was quick and easy. Both times the airport was not crowded or congested like we're used to with Chicago airports. We got through security in minutes! They have a Starbucks and decent eateries. Minus one star because all of the electrical outlets and phone chargers at our gate were unplugged.

One of the prettiest airports we've flown into. Clean, pretty and feels safe. People were nice there and the little gardens they had out front made me feel like we were back at home (in Hawaii.) they do a great job at keeping this place clean!

My wife flew in today so went to get her. They have the place looking pretty good. Large parking area to wait for arrivals makes it so you don't have to back out into traffic. It's still pretty jammed underneath in the pick up are and hopefully tht is being address.

Like many other yelpers indicate,this airport is easy, now modern, and not many issues to be found. I don't fly into this city very often, but when I do, it's easy here. When arriving, it's an easy walk to the buses to the rental car facility. When returning, it's easy trip back to the airport. They don't have many terminals to get confused. As far as dining options, this is a smaller airport, and when arriving on a weekday at 8pm, many stores and restaurants within the airport are closed. There appears to be ample seating to pass the time while waiting for your flight. I typically fly into the west terminal, which consists of many gates. The very end of the terminal has 8 gates, all next to each other, and one upscale restaurant next to it. They have 2 vending machines if the sit-down restaurant is not within your budget.

Love flying in & out of this airport!!! With TSA get right through and onto the gate! The only bad thing about this trip - Parking Garage closed. Had to park in long term parking which typically isn't an issue but the garage closed parking was at a premium.

Overall coming into and leaving was pleasant.... Small airport .... They also have high tech scanner you don't have to remove anything from your carryon... all electronics stay in your bag. Freddys burgers was sooooo good. The online downside was the seating area is extremely crowded waiting on ur flight.

Quiet and small airport that's easily accessible, but a bit on the older side. Plenty of direct flights and the staff I interacted with were all super friendly. Made it through security quickly with almost zero lines. TSA Precheck closes early.

A smaller airport and enjoyable. A handful of restaurants. Clean restrooms. Fair TSA.

We had a very easy time navigating OKC airport. The airline employees at the counters were helpful and TSA was quick and painless. They have quite a few good options and some shops. So we had things to occupy us while we waited. We also had a rental car. Getting there by shuttle was fast and the lot was well stocked with cars.

Mid-size airport with some recent improvements larger airports should pay attention to. Relaxation area upstairs is nicer than most Airline clubs with 180 degree views of runways. TSA very efficient here for some reason. Negatives: Need more food options. No clear. Rental car center is close but requires bus ride. Should not need bus ride in any airport to get car. Especially a small airport.

For as much as I have traveled I have never flown out of this airport. It was surprising nice! Well maintained, smaller and updated with little traffic when I was here. They had business stations at my gate, only a small selection of places to eat, and shopping was limited as well, but over all the airport was a nice experience. Check in lines were well managed, security flowed easily, and for my time here it was a very easy going experience. Again it was like no one was using this airport... these day the "no craziness" was a shear delight!

Easy to navigate airport with extremely friendly people. Great stores and restaurants. Interesting artwork for perusing the history of Oklahoma and notable people that contributed to the great state it is.

It's not "International" like Tulsa. It's not "Intercontinental" like Houston. Oklahoma City has declared itself to be a "World" airport and I love where they're going with that. I arrived here by rental car so I can't speak to the arrivals experience. I had a layover here recently and it was supposed to only be a one hour layover, as I was supposed to make it to Washington DC. Due to Southwest having technical difficulties (eyeroll) my flight was canceled. We were a group of 8 all traveling together and we were now stuck in OKC, boo. This airport is actually pretty nice though. The bathrooms were clean and the inside is nice and bright due to all the windows. Food wise it sucked. There were like two options to pick from. Other then that I wouldn't mind having another layover here. Oh and the southwest employees were super nice!!!

Small airport. The rental companies are a distance. You must take the shuttle to get there. Plan in advance.

Still the easiest airport ever! Zero wait at security although, the biggest downfall is arriving too early and having to much time on your hands with very little to do. Leaving OKC today (2022) with a newly updated security checkpoint location with a Starbucks just as you exit. New food options near gates 14-16 including Freddy's & Tropical Smoothie.

Nice airport. Really modernized for a secondary tertiary airport. Other US cities could take a lesson in investing in their airports and functionality for their traveler's. I appreciate clean restrooms and wide concourse for walking. Seating was also comfortable and updated...unusual for an airport. Pretty impressed with Will Rogers airport.

This place barely has any food options, but the options that they do have are pretty good. I would recommend going to Freddy's in this airport. Also their Starbucks is much more efficient compared to other Starbucks I've been to in other airports. They have some cute stores in the airport that are fun to look in. It's not too big, but it's not small either. Ground transportation is very easy to find, and there's even a rental bus shuttle that takes you directly to where you pick up your rental car from. TSA is very lax here compared to other airports I've been to. Many people were wearing cowboy hats, yet didn't have to take off their big cowboy hat during their TSA process. But they made my mom take off a thin jacket. TSA was relatively quick to get through, it took less then 30 minutes. I also didn't have to take my Kindle out, despite many airports requiring it.

This was a 4 star airport 3 years ago. But now that the expansion is done, it earns that 5th star. Being a smaller airport, security and check in are usually a breeze. What used to be a mostly plain interior has been spiced up by the new terminal and Delta gates. Security has more space than it used to and everything feels fresher on that end. There's even a nice 2nd floor lobby pre-security if you make it too early or are waiting for someone to arrive. Good work, OKC!

TSA workers were all so cheerful, and it made out morning so much brig! We were through TSA so quickly! Even without TSA pre-check, the lines move so quickly! Bathrooms were all very clean and all the workers are so kind. Love this airport!

We had a pretty stress-free time flying in and out of this airport, something that is always appreciated when traveling! One thing I noticed was how friendly everyone is here, from the gate agents to TSA to the shuttle drivers. The Southern hospitality is real in Oklahoma! Even on Memorial Day, this airport was hardly busy and had no lines. And even though it's a small airport, it's big enough to give everyone space and not feel like you are walking through a can of sardines. I'll happily fly through here again!

From the look of it, this airport looks small compared to other airports I've been to. However, I appreciate the differences and uniqueness that makes them stand out from each other. The sculptures were beautiful and design of the airport was welcoming granted it was my first time in Oklahoma!

One of the easiest check-in experiences I've had while flying! I'm glad they have the Clear option. Made getting through security a breeze! Not a lot of eating options and store but more than adequate for my needs.

A nice, clean and simple airport. I'm here at 430am and plenty of shops are open (and Starbucks). Airport has a Freddy's, the main floor is tile which makes rolling your luggage ensure you won't sneak up on anyone. TSA was a breeze (pre-check), no CLEAR (but that's usually the case for these mid-major airports).

Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City Is a Great Airport for all of your travel needs. The airport is very small, which makes it convenient for travel. There is very little wait, the airport is extremely clean, and the staff is very friendly. My current trip and my previous trips have been seamless traveling to/from the airport. I highly recommend this airport for your travel needs.
