Had to travel to Gdansk for a weekend Sat-Sun and stayed at Willa Biata Lilia. First of all location could not be more perfect as I was in the city centre 2 min walk from all main site seeing attractions (but NOT on a busy load street ). Room was perfect for what I needed, clean, comfortable spacious, with tea, water and towels to use. Room was also not onto the busy road so I had a perfect good night sleep. Breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from from hot to cold food, tea and coffee, juices etc. Service was so helpful that following their advice i managed to get to tram stop taking me to seaside and have unforgetable experience in as close as 20 min journey away. Also following staff's advice on evening meal restaurants to use i had the most delicious dinner at Dominikanska Restaurant 5 min walk away for full Polish home cooked cousine in cosy dinner. Most stress free 48h I had in a long time for the best price you can get. Thank you Willa BIata Lilia!

Stayed here at the end of January 2018 for 3 nights. We arrived in Gdansk around 9pm local time so decided to get a taxi from the airport to the hotel. This took approx 15 minutes and cost around 50-60PLN. If driving and new to the area, it could be quite challenging to find as its down a narrow side street. Check in was very quick and easy. Room was alot more spacious than I imagined with plenty of storage. Comfy bed and the bathroom was clean and had a great shower. Breakfast was good. A good range of I didn't realise how close we were to the main part of the Old town. There were some great bars within a minute walk from here. I would recommend Pixel Pub, very friendly staff and Chmielna 101 Cooltura on the corner. Really chilled vibe and great atmosphere and very cheap drinks! Around a 10-15 min walk to main train station where we checked out Sopot & Gdynia which were also great and would be even better in Summer! Will deffo be back and would stay here again for sure!

The owner was very welcoming and helfpul in providing advice on what to see and where to go first. He also recommended nearby restaurants. ||The location is great - just a short stroll to the river where you can catch a ferry to Westerplatte or walk to the long market street. ||If you have rolling suitcases I suggest you take a taxi from the train station as the route from the station to the hotel is mostly cobbles.||The room is very clean and comfortable. We stayed on the first floor in late summer and we did experience some noise from people walking on the street late at night - but this is common in all city centers, especially when you sleep with the window open.||The breakfast was exceptionally generous and delicious, I would definitely return!

This is a great little hotel right in the middle of Gdańsk. It is on a side street just far enough away from the main streets to be quiet but close enough to be at a restaurant in a 45 second walk. It is a 4 minute walk to Neptune's statue so no need for scooters or cabs to get to most of what you want to see. The staff was very nice and helpful. It is an older hotel and has a well lived in feel. My room was clean, had a hot water kettle, instant coffee, tea, and 2 bottles of water. The bathroom had excellent water pressure. The bed was somewhat uncomfortable. There were no curtains or blinds in my window and sunrise is 4:30 AM. If there had been curtains it would be 4 stars. It was likely just my room because all of the other windows had blinds looking from the outside. Other notes: I feel like they had a rushed reopening after COVID restrictions lifted and there was a holiday weekend. The manager and receptionist were both helping clean rooms. There is limited street parking but plenty of nearby paid parking especially just to the west of the hotel over the bridge. No: AC, elevator, or safe Yes: TV, included WiFi, included hot breakfast starting around 9am (scrambled eggs, sausage, cold cuts, cheese, coffee, etc)

We had a very enjoyable stay here. Location is perfect .The room was clean and had everything we needed, except for milk for the tea and coffee provided .However Jack on reception, went out of his way to remedy that and gave us milk from the kitchen. The breakfast was exceptional especially the perfect scrambled eggs!|A big thank you to the staff especially Jack , who tirelessly answered our questions and gave us so much information about transport ,attractions etc - a very friendly man .We recommend both the war museum and Solidarity museum ,both amazing .|Finally ,we got an Uber back to the airport and it was only £6-7 and picked us up right outside the hotel .

I stayed here for one night. The location is superb, 3-4 minutes from the Old Town in a safe area. I was by myself and went out for dinner at 8.30pm and I felt safe at all times. My room was dated but very clean and the bathroom looked recently renovated and also very clean. There was a free bottle of water in the room which I thought was very nice. The staff at the reception were very friendly. I didn't try the breakfast as I left very early the next morning. I think for a short stay for the price I paid it was a very good value for money but for a longer stay I would choose something with more frills but that's just my personal preference.

Location is just great, you are a few minutes walk from the Green Gate and Dlugi Targ street. It is also easy to get from Gdansk main train station. Use trams 3, 8 or 9 and in 7 minutes you are at Chmielna stop which is 3-5 minutes from the hotel. Rooms are pretty simple but have everything you need for a short stay. Cleaning was not the best. Breakfast was ok and had some variety of fruit. But it is the same every morning with no change in offer. What I did not like is very poor WiFi signal in my room, there was literally one spot (under the table) where it functioned. Thin walls will definitely interfere with your sleep (you'll hear your neighbours and people walking the stairs), so be sure to take ear plugs. Overall if you are in Gdansk for a weekend it is a nice option to stay close to the city center.

The room was good size and was clean and warm. The location was great - just a couple of minutes walk from the Green Gate, the main street and tourist information. (A little aside - the tourist information just through the green gate on the right hand side had a wonderful chap there who was very friendly and helpful)||It was also just around the corner from a number of small supermarket/shops which was handy for getting supplies. ||The staff were friendly enough, I didn't really interact with them apart from to check in and to check out, and it was all grand. Well, I say all grand, it was slightly comedic to check in to the hotel when the guy behind reception didn't speak English! It was a late check in so I think he was covering the reception rather than being a receptionist who all were fluent in English.||The breakfast was good, a nice spread with everything fresh. The only thing which seemed to be missing was water (but there was orange juice, milk, a range of teas and coffees) but when I asked if they had any the lady there brought me a bottle of it and she was so nice that every morning that she saw me after she brought me over a bottle! It was so wonderful and thoughtful of her to do this.|| ||There were a couple of little things which took away from it it being 5/5, the check in and the room I had was on the 4th floor and it had a slope of the roof in it. The head of the bed went into the slope and I didn't like sleeping below it so I slept on down the bed. If you don't like slopes about your head then try to avoid the 4th floor.||||One other little thing, which people have mentioned before, the hotel doesn't have a lift. I didn't find this a problem, but some people might.||||Otherwise it was all good and I'd stay there again!
