Willance House Guest House

We had a lovely stay at the Willance House Guest House during our Coast to Coast walk. We were fortunate to have chosen a rest day in Richmond, so got to enjoy 2 nights here. Our room, including the bed, was very comfortable. Colin and Sandra were fabulous hosts and helped us organizing all the little extras needed, taxi, restaurants etc. What really stands out about the Willance House though, is the breakfasts! Definitely the best breakfast on our Coast to Coast walk. We were so happy to see some other alternatives to the classic English Breakfast. I would highly recommend the Willance House. Perfectly run spotless B&B, you will be attentively looked after. Well done Colin & Sandra. A great location in the middle of Richmond. A lovely property steeped in history. Fabulous breakfast, provided packed lunch. Ideal for coast-to-coast walkers, and equally for exploring the local area

Fantastic B&B and hosts. Room was lovely with everything you needed, tea , coffee, biscuits, toiletries. Bed was so comfy too and room was lovely and warm which was great.|Breakfast was delicious with so many different options too.|We will definitely be staying again.

Such a delight in every way! The house is beautiful and very clearly cared for, with tons of original features and so much character.|The bedroom was a good size with an extremely comfy bed and high quality linens and towels. It was spotless.|Such lovely friendly hosts who thought of everything, from a top quality tea tray to fresh milk delivered to your door in a flask.|The breakfast was a pure delight. Although my other half only wanted toast, even that was special as it was home made bread and lovely selection of jams etc. My veggie breakfast to order was great and there was a huge selection to choose from on the order form. I can honestly say I've never seen a better choice and such lovely produce.|I would not hesitate to recommend this and I doubt you could find better in all of Richmond. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

Sandra and Colin are very welcoming and helpful.The room was|spotless and had everything you could need after a day spent exploring Swaledale and beyond. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast choices were second to none. I won’t leave it so long between visits this time.

Beautifully restored / maintained Grade II listed house in the heart of Richmond. Sandra & Colin are perfect hosts with a great eye for detail. Breakfasts are exquisite - with some great options - and packed lunches are available for Coast to Coasters.

Joined cousin on coast to coast - first night (for me) in this great b&b. Great location, just down from the Market Square. The hosts were so friendly. Rooms are fine with excellent showers. Breakfast was very good - lot is choice. A well cooked porridge with lots of fruit set me up perfectly for a 23 Mike walk the next day

Absolutely gorgeous, spotless, friendly and amazing breakfasts .Thank you Collin and Sandra we will definitely be coming back. Would highly recommend . Xx
