Came for lunch after a morning walk. I want to thank you for a lovely lunch, we had the fish sharer with some chips and other sides. We especially want to thank our server (Yanet I think?) who was absolutely lovely and really made us feel welcome. Great job all round and will be back. P.S. our dog loved the doggy menu!

Had lunch there today. Great value kids meal and the adults burger was fine. However the steak pie was awful - meat was tough. The 'seasonal vegetables ' was literally a bowl full of cabbage - NO other vegetables! Definitely not value for money - even though the surroundings are lovely.

Been here for lunch numerous times and the food is always very good. They've had excellent cask beer on from local brewery First To Last every time we've visited too. Super dog friendly.

Had Sunday lunch with the husband while passing through. Lovely setting, fab staff. The beers selection let the place down - they need to speak with Three Kings Brewery and Darwin Brewery to get that sorted out! Also the cutlery - knives didn't quite deal with the meat, could have done with steak knives instead. All in all a nice run out, reasonable prices.

We won a voucher in the local prize bingo. We went tonight for our 12th Wedding anniversary. Meal wasn't good. Steak and ale pie was very stale and very tough meat. The steak was good! We ordered puddings and waited over 40 mins. We left and wont be back!

The food here is the worst I've had in a long time, the chips were soggy and dripping in grease, the fish batter was soggy. The sticky toffee pudding was beyond awful, like somehow much worse than supermarket quality. I wish we had sent it back and asked for a refund. The chef here has stopped trying. The service is also pretty bad

We visited the pub/restaurant after booking a table at a very last minute during the bank holiday weekend. We were welcomed by a very cheerful waitress who lead us to the table and offered some drinks. The menu consists some nibbles, starters, starters to share, salads, main dishes (mostly classic pub dishes including burgers) and desserts. Vegetetian, vegan and gluten free options, all labelled in the menu. We ordered chicken shawarma and crab burger. Despite busy Saturday evening, we didn't wait long for the meals. The crab burger was really nice, same as dynamite coleslaw. The chicken was nice and tenter, well but not too much spiced but the flatbread was almost unedible- very hard and chewy. We didn't get desserts. It's a very nice pub, with bar area and a few table areas, all nicely decorated with a bit elegant, rustical style. There is also a small beer garden on the back of the building, next to the car park. The staff were very friendly and nice, attentive to the dietary requirements.

Huge disclaimer, we only ordered Crepes so maybe other dishes are better. Having said that, the word "crepe" is in their title so you would think it would be better. The crepe itself had several burned marks and tasted bad. The smoke alarm was sounding when we first walked in so perhaps we should have taken this as a bad omen or sign of a struggling new cook. The inside of the crepe had nice farm apples and the outside had a dollop of cream. The cream was neither cold nor very sweet and while the apples were good there was no real Method to them. As far as I can tell, their apple crepe follows these steps. First find some delicious farm fresh apples, cut them in slices and bake a few in an oven having only added a tiny pinch of cinnamon. Second burn a somewhat thin pancake which is only made of flour, water, and no real salt or sugar. Third put the apple in it and scoop/or spray out one dollop of cream. Fourth sell it to unsuspecting people traveling through the area.

A Nice place to stop for lunch. The fish n chips was good, the service is nice and efficient, the atmosphere is great! Didn't try the crêpes so I will not comment on the other advice that was given but overall a good experience! Will certainly come back if I have a chance.

Unique menu of savoury and sweet crepes, and, Inn food. The Mediterranean crepe was great, and, the ploughman's crepe was a tasty novel idea. The berry crepe with raspberry coulis and ice cream was a nice combination of sweet and sharp.
