Stopped into this place for the first time after wanting to try it for quite a while. This is in a touristy area in Hermann, so during the off-season (Christmas time through March 1.) some businesses shut down or abbreviate their hours, so be sure to call or check to see if they're open during the off-season.
My wife and I both got a beef and lamb gyro On pita bread. It came out piping hot and was delicious with lettuce, tomato and tzatziki sauce. It comes with one side and we chose a side dish that they call "blind hen".It is a mixture of green beans, onions, bacon, carrots and apples in a sweet type dressing. It was pretty good as well. The Gyro was quite filling and will run you around $13.99, including one side.
This is a walk up window type place as you can see the photos, and seating is outside under a covered awning, but our sandwiches were served in a Styrofoam clamshell, so you can always get it to go if it's too hot or cold outside.
