Returned to Evergreen to visit old stomping grounds (Class of '88) and hang out with dear friends. The food and service at Willow Creek were phenomenal! Dining outside with a picturesque sunset (and moonrise) along with the sounds of hummingbirds (and eagles) didn't hurt! Love this place and hope to return soon! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful dinner without a reservation. We ordered both of the specials. A spaghetti squash ravioli and a cherry glazed duck breast with brisket. They were both really well put together and delicious. We also had the potato soup, molten lava cake and peanut butter cup. The service was great and overall a great experience!

Had dinner here with a friend and the atmosphere is very nice. The first course which was a salad came out and it was delicious. I was so excited for the next course but was extremely disappointed. I ordered the ravioli which the waitress told us that this appetizer could be shared with multiple people. There were only 3 raviolis which I was completely surprised by and the pasta dough was not cooked all the way through. I can't believe that I paid $25 for just 3 raviolis. I wish the food was better and there was more of it.

We went as a guest of our family in Evergreen and we were gladly surprise for this cute and kind of different and hidden gem "restaurant and provisions market". The ambient and artistry were unique and food was properly presented and delicious.

This was a special birthday meal for our family of five. The reservation was easy and the table was ready for us. The atmosphere is 5-star, for sure. I’ve dined on the patio in warmer months and you can’t beat the view overlooking Evergreen reservoir. From the time we sat down, it took a full hour to bring out our food. No explanation offered, especially as to why the table for four next to were seated after us, ate appetizers and finished their meal before our plates came out. Our burgers were way overcooked and the bacon so overcooked that the meal tasted charred. Oddly, the fries with the Brie sandwich were cold, so not sure what was going on in the kitchen. The clam chowder soup was excellent, clearly the best part of the meal. At $150 for five of us, the food was a huge disappointment. Surely something was amiss yesterday. I’ll gladly amend my low rating if it’s a better experience next time, if we go back now.

Willow Creek restaurant has always been our go-to restaurant. We feel it has the nicest ambience and highest level of dining experience in Evergreen. We have out of town guests throughout the summer and we were regular customers. However, we have now had back-to-back horrific experiences in the past few weeks. The first experience was on a Sunday evening when there were very few tables that were occupied. Instead of sitting us at a table away from the two occupied tables, they put us immediately next to a six top. There were just two of us. It would have been nice to have a quiet evening. We ordered a sweet cocktail and instead of getting a sugar rim on our drink we got a salt rim. The waitress was extremely rude and made no effort to make us feel comfortable and my gnocchi was extremely over salted. That next Monday I called and talked to the owner and explained the situation and told her that we were bringing four guests the following week. I told her I really did not want to leave a bad review because I like the restaurant so much. She was very apologetic and said she will make a note. Well, we went this past Sunday evening. There were six of us. Again there were only about 4 tables occupied inside the restaurant. The waiter was less than friendly, and four of us received our meal before the other two. They explained to us that they delivered the other two meals to another table, so my friends would have a short wait. The rest of us were finished with our entrées before they were even served theirs. I had the rigatoni pasta, which was extremely dry, and I’m quite it was left over from Saturday evening. There is no way that pasta was made fresh. Their attempt to make good was to offer a single dessert to the table and gave us a $15 gift card. I am sad to say we will never return.

The best place to bring friends and family to. Amazing patio and even better food. Chef Daniel is the best.

Google
We recently visited Willow Creek and were absolutely delighted! The atmosphere in the restaurant is wonderful, with a beautiful view from the window that adds a special charm to the dining experience. The staff was very attentive, and the service was top-notch. We were especially pleased with the extensive wine selection and excellent food. Every moment spent here was truly enjoyable! We’ll definitely be back!

Yelp
Terrific food! Lovely ambiance! Magnificent views! I will be back frequently for very special occasions.

Yelp
We wanted to love it. Unfortunately it fell short. Sometimes there are just those nights when multiple things go wrong. We were the needy table tonight. The location is pretty, but the noise level was crazy loud. There was a particularly noisy table with guys shouting and the rest of the restaurant had to yell to be heard. We had to shout our order to the staff just to be heard. The tables are wobbly--noticed several with plastic shims to help balance, and no, they don't take care of it before you sit down. We asked and the guy nearly tipped over our drinks on us. Started with our drinks. Ordered some specialty drinks and they left the Sprite out of what we ordered. They brought a carafe of Sprite and they had run out of syrup so it was club soda. They remade the drinks and all was well. Burrata appetizer was trying too hard. Too much going on with flavors. It was just okay. Lamb ragu was cooked well, but lacked flavor. Mussels, hopefully, won't get me sick. I had a bad batch and one mussel that was so bad that I had to spit it out and it soured my appetite so much so that I didn't order anything as a replacement. Paella special was over cooked. And the pasta primavera tasted like a curry. The best item of the night was the beet salad. When we got our check, it was crazy expensive for four people. $250! And that was with only one alcoholic drink! They also didn't take my mussels off the tab, which we had to point out and they corrected right away. Also didn't help that we could visually see our server complaining to the other servers about us. We were absolutely polite and kind to everyone helping and still left a nice tip because we've both worked in restaurants. It's a pretty location with overpriced food that isn't that tasty and a server who doesn't understand that when things get messed up, it's the restaurants job to remedy it--especially for the price that customers have to pay! Ridiculous.

Yelp
This place is located right across from the lake and has a pretty view of it. It has a shared parking lot in a small strip mall location. We made a reservation in advance which I heard is recommended. I got the wagyu burger with truffle fries ($30 ish?). The burger was very tasty but fell apart immediately after a few bites so the rest of it wasn't great because I had to eat it in piecemeal with my hands and fork. The bottom bun should have been toasted or something because it was just soggy and fell apart :(. I also did not really like the texture of the fries, they were a bit too rough. My friend got the eggs benedict with pork belly and colorado green chile. He said he would have given it a 4. Eggs were too small, crumpets dry. Chile was tasty. Overall decent serving.

Yelp
Looking for a fun patio in the mountains, we chose this restaurant. Lovely patio. Service just barely ok. Out of 4 food orders, 2 were not edible, the fish & chips. One hamburger and one caesar salad with chicken were both fine. We told waiter, but were not given any discount for totally, obviously bad food. One of us had to ask for salt and mustard 3 times before we finally went to get it. just be aware.

Yelp
One cannot take away from the ambiance and view from this quaint restaurant/bar. It's beautiful and peaceful. We sat in the bar lounge area which was a pretty tight fit, but manageable. The menu is full of options from seafood to land food. We ordered some wine/cocktails with the Gnocchi and Burrata appy's. Gnocchi was dressed in a broth sauce, with pancetta, mushrooms and truffle peelings. This dish itself was oddly not very flavorful.. Cannot put my finger on it, but it was just like.. meh. Burrata, was fresh and flavorful. Onward to the entree's and the specials. I chose to go with the Halibut special and the wifey the Fall Risotto add Salmon. My Halibut had a crispy outside and overall I liked the dish. I will make a small remark and that is at $56, I would think a 6-8oz portion would be in order here. Then again, I live in Austin, where there is an abundance of restaurants and this price may be on point for Evergreen. Suzie enjoyed her salmon and pushed the risotto around, but didn't finish the dish. I had a bite and enjoyed the richness/earthiness of dish. For her, it was a little to much. Not terrible or anything like that, just very punchy. After dinner sweets and drinks where ordered with the Creme Brulee and Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup. These were both a great way to end the evening. Very Creme Brulee indeed. My overall impression of the evening was, they may not of been on their A game. Our friends, who we were visiting, are frequent diners and like it very much. One item of note. There is a 3% surcharge for using a credit card. This is listed on the menu at the bottom and perhaps standard practice in Evergreen. I wasn't aware of it and neither were our friends. I had not noticed this until the next day. Not a huge deal, but I had a couple of hundies/20's in my wallet and could of saved myself a small charge. It isn't something I have seen in a very long time and just mentioning as an fYI. I would like to add that our server, Jennifer J was delightful. She was informative and helpful with our orders. I only had two glasses of wine to drink this evening and when she brought the second one, I didn't even notice her bringing it and found it on my right. Very stealthy indeed. I noticed it looked a little short after I took my first swig and just chalked it up to my enthusiasm of drinking it. About a minute later, she popped back by and topped me off and apologized that she had grabbed the original glass before the bartender had finished pouring it. Nice one Jen! If we happen to come and visit our buds again, we would drop back by.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious spot for brunch with an incredible view! Our waitress Rose was great, and immediately brought out a big water bowl for the pup in our group on a hot 90+ degree day. I got the burger which comes with truffle garlic aïoli and caramelized onion. It was an absolutely outstanding burger. I usually take the top bun off of my burgers, but ended up eating most of the top bun + aioli which made it taste like a delicious piece of garlic bread! I opted to upgrade to the beet salad rather than the fries, and it was a great decision. So so fresh and tasty. The outdoor patio was fun, had ample shading, and gorgeous views. Can't wait to visit this place again next time I'm in Colorado!

Yelp
Waited 55 min for cold food ! Do not waste your time eating here ! The poor waitress was sent to the table to address the situation while the owner sat on the patio and was too chicken to come talk to us ! Sad

Steve A.

Yelp
We were there on 7/13/25 for our anniversary. The hostess was a total b$&@! If I ever go back and she's working there, I would turn around and walk away. She was slow, non-hospitable, and needs to find a non customer facing job. The food is good, but the menu is tired. It hasn't changed it quite some time. Savannah our waitress was awesome! She was taking care of 2/3 of the patio, and was rocking it! She's probably the only reason we would go back.

Yelp
Phenomenal meal at Willow Creek. Chose the Blood Orange Spritz for my cocktail, then had the butternut squash soup (yum) and the oysters to start (so fresh & perfect texture). The Idaho Trout entree was ahhhh-mazing- loved the trout roe garnish and the lemon pepper beurre blanc sauce was so flavorful. If I lived in the area I'd dine here all the time!

Yelp
Food and service has been great we keep coming back and bringing friends. Have not had a bad meal yet and we've had an opportunity to try quite a bit on the menu. Great gluten free noodles too. Overlooks lake evergreen, great views

Yelp
The view was amazing! It was such a nice day for eating outside. The service was great. Our server was attentive. The bacon Benedict was amazing and I was halfway through before taking a picture! My guy had the smoked salmon Benedict which looked so so yummy. I ordered the Smokeshow cocktail. It was not very tasty for me unfortunately. Also, make sure you don't order anything sweet the bees come out in numbers!

Yelp
My mom and I dined here today for lunch / brunch and it was absolutely incredible. I had the bison burger with truffle fries and although it was quite a messy burger it was the most delicious burger I've had in a long time! My mom had the special -- filet mignon breakfast hash and I can confirm the meat in her dish was the best filet I've had in a VERY long time. Everything was cooked to perfection. Chef's kiss! The service was great, and the view of the lake is always lovely! I did have the Italian peach soda and it was way too sugary for me personally, but everything was incredible!

Yelp
Best meal I've ever had in my entire 42 years of life. Homerun! How else can I put this? Amazing. Phenomenal. I think the first part sums it up. BEST EVER!!! I didn't get pictures of drinks or dessert but everything from start to finish was superb. I WILL BE BACK.

Yelp
My wife and I visited Willow Creek last night for the first Sushi Night. We sat at the bar which we prefer and started with cocktails. My wife had the Cosmo while I had the Lemon drop. Both were excellent. Our food order started with a half dozen raw oysters and then Salmon Sashimi, eel nigiri, tuna nigiri, smelt egg nigiri and the Colorado Roll. The sushi was fresh, cold and very good. We finished with our favorite creme brûlée and a double espresso. We had a great meal and the service, food and drinks were excellent. I hope that they continue to serve sushi.

Yelp
A spectacular view and deck, and a great restaurant. Wow! We love this place. Looking out over the lake, hawks flying overhead, great food.

Becca P.

Yelp
The food was a 5/5, incredibly delicious and came out quickly, aside from the bread which was a bit old and stale tasting. The gnocchi app, risotto, and elk were all perfect. The service on the other hand was a bit of a joke. We waited 12 minutes to be seated (we had a reservation for 7:30), then waited a while for waters, waited for drinks and even had to ask about a cocktail that was sitting on the bar for a while. After ordering and enjoying apps we had to approach the bar to ask to order dinner. We saw lots of staff walking around and standing around, but it seemed like they had no clear system. It was comical. I would only go back if I could sit at the bar and guarantee service.

O P.

Yelp
You'll be seated and then ignored for 2 hours. We got our drinks and nothing else. We even had reservations so there is no excuse that it was busy. Other people came in, sat, ate, payed, and left all before us. Management was incredibly rude when we repeatedly asked politely where our food was. Instead of apologizing they became confrontational like it was our fault for these grown adults failures. Never been disrespected like that at a restaurant before. Shame on the management and staff. Stay far away.

Yelp
Waitress was awesome. Really wish I got her name. Easter Brunch . Very good . We both had a salmon Benedict. Thank you peeps for giving us your time on a Holiday . Awesome job today .
google avatar

Indigo S.

Yelp
Overall, we enjoyed a lovely, fancy night out. Their fresh sourdough and honey butter were delicious. Ingredients for both apps and entrees were fresh and well prepared. I highly recommend their mocktails, if that's your thing, especially the spicy non-alcoholic margarita and the lavendar lady. The view is awesome - we sat right by the railing overlooking both the lake and the hummingbird feeders, which were frequented by dozens of birds while we ate. Service was friendly and professional, but slow. Expect to spend a couple of hours for dinner, even when they are not super busy. One complaint - the restaurant was smoking brisket feet away from the diners in the back, and the smell of smoke was quite intense. Our clothes smelled like we'd been camping.

Yelp
Service was meh, sat around for several minutes before our waitress even came to get drinks or order. They seemed to be all kids/young adults so i'm assuming the owner isn't paying them much so tip them well. Asked for the steak to be medium and received it medium well at best if not well done. Fries and burger were good but for the price and lack of prompt service I'm giving it a 4. View of the lake is very beautiful; def try and place a reservation though as otherwise you probably wont get an outdoor seating.
google avatar

Laura K.

Yelp
The best food and drink I've had in over a year. The mussels were amazing. The elk was sweet and tender, the desserts were phenomenal. We could not say anything but positive things
google avatar

Robin K.

Yelp
Great location next to the lake. Nice deck or rustic interior dining. Friendly service and decent food. It didn't blow us away for the price, but it was a pleasant meal.
google avatar

Yelp
Ok restaurant with a nice view. Lunch menu covered the basics but I was hoping for a bit more, honestly. Today, the menu offered several salads, a chicken sandwich, a burger and fish and chips. There was a heavy pasta dish too. But the space is nice. So is the view as well as the service. But lunch for 4 ladies was $150 before tip (no booze) seems a bit steep for what I got.

Mitchell W.

Yelp
it's nice..service is good...food ,,,,,not worth the price. quality ,,ok..lacking quantity.

Sabrina P.

Yelp
The food was wonderful, the service from Marylynn was amazing. The only downside was the hostess Jackie and Rose. Maylynn was having a hard time taking a ToGo order she was openly ridiculed and laughed at by the two ladies. As the lady helping me was older and was not aware the register in their gift shop was not working we tried to use the register at the bar. Rather than help the scoffed shook heads laughed and walked away, leaving Marylynn flustered . I had to speak up to get help from a waitress. It is sad that this all happened in front of a customer that order two cheeseburgers at $50. Hopefully we can treat our older generations better that did not grown up with computers sometimes need a bit more grace.

Yelp
So we are from out of town We went in the restaurant at 3:15 pm. We were met finally by a rude young blonde female she said to the bartender in front of us I will handle this! She told us she would not seat us because they were flipping the tables for dinner service. Now that is fine we only wanted coffee but ok. But the rudeness was above and beyond bad and uncalled for. I am over 50 and she was 18 years old if that! Have some respect because I know she cannot be professional. I have no idea if the food is good but be prepared for the blonde hostess in front of the house. We went down the street to the golf club restaurant and it was three minutes before opening and they graciously sat us. Told us that they have heard stories about the same blonde female and how rude she is!!!!!
google avatar

Jason K.

Yelp
Wow...so much better after they got an actual chef back. The risotto was perfect. Please stop using truffle oil. Bondi dessert a miss. But that granola thing was awesome. Great menu great service. Really close to being perfect.
google avatar

Cindy L.

Yelp
It's a beautiful place, the view was good but they totally overcooked our burgers! I ordered my medium rear and it was more like well done. The service wasn't that grand either. I watched as people left and dishes remained on the table for a long time. I also watched uncleanliness, not impressed. One of the best things, is what was on the bathroom door. C-19 cases are down, people that have to wear the mask, it's just wrong. What's up with the filling out a form if you don't have a reservation? They say it's for Covid. They want your name phone number and how many people are in your party. A VIOLATION of privacy! I'm NOT sure if I'd go back!
google avatar

Yelp
Overall experience was absolutely amazing!! For beginners the view was breathtaking! The service was attentive and welcoming. The drinks were perfectly mastered! The food was superb and surpassed my expectations! Kudos to the chef!! Highly recommend and will be coming back! A definite must stop while visiting Evergreen!

Yelp
I wish I had taken pictures; everything was fantastic! We came here for a rare date night away from the kids. The service was fast, friendly, and professional. We had the wild mushroom gnocchi, which was absolutely amazing, the burrata, split a Caesar salad, and shared the sausage rigatoni. The rigatoni was perfect, I will be daydreaming about it until we can come back. Lastly the cocktails were creative and delicious. Everything about this evening was great, including the candles and fresh wildflowers at the table.

Yelp
The food was good. Had the burger and fries. The service wasn't good. We sat down and had to wait and the table that sat down next to us 8 minutes later got served before we did. The location is nice as it's next to the small lake. The ambiance is really nice.

Yelp
I visited Willow Creek recently and had such an awesome experience start to finish. First of all, the restaurant itself is so unbelievably charming. Absolutely beautiful, warm and inviting ambiance and deco. They have an awesome drink menu with plenty to choose from. I had a dirty martini with extra olives that was crafted perfectly. For an app, we started with the Market Provisions which was a gorgeous charcuterie board with several delicious components. The dinner menu is quite small with only one vegetarian option, but all of our meals were excellent. I had the Spaghetti Squash Genovese with salmon. The salmon was perfect, and so tasty. The spaghetti squash dish was also great but could have used a little more flavor. Overall great dining experience. I also have to shout out our server TJ. He was AWESOME and so much fun. He felt like an old friend and really made our evening more enjoyable. I can't wait to return! (and praying they put the amazing fish and chips back on the menu)

E H.

Yelp
There were four tables with diners when we arrived yet we were sat in the back of the restaurant in the corner. I had a great view of the chipped paint wall. When I requested a different table I was told, with an attitude, that they were busy and had no other open tables even though there were at least five or six open tables available for two. The bread, which is complimentary in most restaurants, was extra. I could buy better bread at Safeway. Served cold with an extra charge for butter. The bland Caesar salad appeared to have prepared earlier in the day. The lettuce was dry covered in cheese with no dressing. After my first bite of trout, I was eating fish skin. The tiny portion of trout was served with the skin still on the fish. I had to pick fish skin out of my bowl/plate. There are better places to spend $140.00. After we left we went to Fountain BBQ and got some amazing food to go.
google avatar

Jessica K.

Yelp
Very expensive and poor service. We waited two hours for our food to be served, then our food was cold, and our server did not come to the table to check on us. Then we got blamed by the server (who is getting an automatic 20% tip either way) and the owner for saying our food was cold after the fact. The restaurant owner even responded to my review after the fact and made several excuses for the poor service. I understand that sometimes things happen and expectations are not met but the most important thing is that the server (and especially the owner) take responsibility for what happened. I've seen other reviews of this restaurant that mention similar issues with the service being poor. I would recommend skipping this restaurant and choosing a more affordable option that promotes a culture of humility.
google avatar

Douglas F.

Yelp
Great atmosphere with beautiful indoor and outdoor seating. The food is really good and so is the service. Stop in and have a drink after you walk around the lake. You'll be glad you did.

Will M.

Yelp
wow. What a terrible place to dine at. the service was lazy and rude. I felt like I was degraded for asking questions on the meals. the food was bland and the drinks weren't stuff. wouldn't eat there again if my life depended on it. kick rocks.

Rene P.

Yelp
place is terrible! horrible service horrible food, I wouldn't even feed my dog this garbage. Ive never left a review on a restaurant, but this place made me do it.

Nick H.

Yelp
What an amazing little spot in evergreen, I didn't know evergreen had a dining spot like this. Elegant, high end, great menu, great wine selection. Service and food was amazing! Thank you willow creek for providing this option for evergreen!
google avatar

David S.

Yelp
We made reservations for a special evening, we arrived on time and were told they did not have a reservation for us and we would have to sit at the bar. No apologies for their messing up our evening was given and if anything, they made it seem as if it was our fault they screwed up. Unacceptable. This restaurant also deletes social media posts that question their service.

Cindy D.

Yelp
We were turned away at 11:10 am (10 minutes after opening) because they couldn't accommodate a table of 6! It was evident they weren't willing to combine two tables with only 25% full. Instead go to Bistro Del Lago across the parking lot. The food was delicious and service was friendly and efficient!
google avatar

Katie R.

Yelp
Well, we really wanted to love this place, but sadly it was just okay, with moments of wow, and moments of sheer disappointment. The Wow: Peanut Butter Bomb for dessert. Just delicious, rich, but not too much. The view from the patio is breathtaking. The tables set up is very very nice. You're surrounded, but still feel like you have some privacy. The okay: The Charcuterie Board, the Pork sandwich and the Fish Tacos (lettuce wrapped) The sheer disappointment: The service. It took an hour and a half to be served our entrees after our charcuterie board. The menu is very limited.
google avatar

Mike S.

Yelp
Location is great... looks out over evergreen lake. Nice ambience, and service was very good. Points I was not as happy about dealt with the limited menu choices, and what we did have (ravioli) was in our view too salty. Salt is a personal assessment but in general I feel restaurants are relying on it too much to offset other flavors lacking. Anyway, we will go back again, but order my consciously of cooking techniques.

Robin M.

Yelp
Be prepared to pay cash or receive a $1.47 charge for using your credit card. A business should absorb those costs into doing business, not charge their patrons for there business costs. Unprofessional!!! Also, menus aren't up to date, so you may order something you have your heart and stomach on, only to find it is unavailable. And, they claim to pour a 9 oz glass of wine, but you are lucky if it's even 6. We used to love this quaint place, but it has gone downhill. We won't return.

Elaine C.

Yelp
Yikes.... Nice views! Service was pretty poor on the whole. We had to wait even though we made a reservation. Servers seemed unprofessional and like they couldn't wait to get out of there. Also an extra charge for using a credit card? The "100 year old" sourdough tasted like someone bought bread from the grocery store, put it in the fridge, roughly chopped it up and then set it on our table with frozen butter. The rest of the food was fine but definitely underwhelming as well. Your money will be much better spent somewhere else!

Ashley K.

Yelp
Great food, service and views. the only thing that needs is more menu options. We love the take home Food and cute gifts!

Kristie L.

Yelp
The cassoulet tasted so savory and had a nice French feel to it. The broth of the matcha dumplings had a depth of flavor, I wish the dumplings were bigger. The steaks and salmon were cooked perfectly. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was cozy with piano music in the background.
google avatar

Gabriel K.

Yelp
Our go to place for $200 meal and drinks for two. Nicely appointed and greets views. Service like a 5 star restaurant in the city, slightly casual. Make a reservation and you'll be nicely rewarded. We've only been turned away once in 3 or 4 times walking in. If it's your desire, Go for the whole shebang, apps, drinks, entree, dinner, and after drinks. You won't regret it.

Benjamin Joseph C.

Yelp
Such an incredible place with the most amazing staff (especially Rose, Elizabeth, and Leann)! Great food, awesome cocktails, and tremendous service. 10/10, would recommend.

Alisa T.

Yelp
We went to Willow Creek for brunch about 11:30 in late Sept 2024. Never had been here. The hostess seemed irritated when she saw us waiting in the lobby area. Our server was really nice and highlighted that they make everything from scratch which I guess must be code for - you're going to wait forever for your food. The five of us all ordered different items. The mocha latte was $8 for a 1/3 measuring cup quantity of coffee. They did not have soda fountain root beer so each bottle was $4. No refills on any of those items. We waited over 45 minutes for our food and I told my kids they were waiting for the chickens in the back to lay the eggs for our meal. Steak and eggs - ordered steak medium and it was tough, fatty, flavorless, eggs were cold. Buffalo chicken wrap contained way too much lettuce and fell apart when picked up (not wrapped well). This place does not possess ranch dressing. Chocolate mascarpone pancakes were just brown, dry, flavorless small discs with at least a cup of blueberry compote on top probably to hide the dryness. For the price, we expected some kind of fancy, fluffy, scrumptious pancakes with swirls of mascarpone and chocolate; I could make better pancakes with a box mix at home way faster and way cheaper. The Denver omelet was good as were the potatoes on the side. The smoked salmon eggs benedict meal was also good but neither of these dishes were over the top delicious. The bill for a family of five with automatic gratuity, no alcohol, was $173!!!!! For a less than mediocre brunch for five people! Shocking. We feel so fleeced that we paid that high of a price for a family meal that was just passable. This place needs to focus less on homemade everything (which I highly doubt is true anyway) and more on making delicious food in a timely manner at lower cost and price it reasonably. I would have expected the bill to be somewhere in the $75-90 range due to the mountain location by the lake but even that is exorbitant for brunch for a family of five with no alcohol involved. I emailed the restaurant directly about our experience the same day but they did not respond so a few weeks later, I decided to share it out. We will not be going back here.
