Visited Wimberley Zipline this past weekend with friends and thoroughly enjoyed it. I've been to others in Texas and this one had more ziplines. 10 lines to be exact. Called 2 hours in advance and they were able to book our tour in a matter of minutes. Once we got there it was a fairly easy process...you pay, complete liability form, put your personal belongings in a cabinet that the employee monitors, and then you get your gear on (helmet, gloves, and waist harness strap thingy--don't know what that's called). No open toe shoes!
We had wonderful guides: Mackenzie, Amanda & Hunter. They were all funny, except Hunter--because he rarely talked ;-) He was in training. But you will start your experience with a mini zipline and then once you've got that, you're put in an all terrain type military vehicle that will take you up a hill to begin your zipline experience. It is a VERY rough ride that when looking for something to hold on to, there was nothing other than the bench you're sitting on. If this will be too much for you, I'd recommend asking if there's a way you can walk it up or have another vehicle take you up. Don't know if that's even an option but just fyi. But it only lasted like 30 seconds or so.
Once on the zipline, just follow directions and you'll be good. Water is provided for you in ice chests and they were always ice cold. Would I recommend? Absolutely! Take glasses, a phone pouch if you plan on taking pics or video or if your shorts have a deep pocket you can put your phone in. Caps can be worn under your helmet. Take a hair band ladies for your hair to put in a pony tail and wear comfortable shoes. It can be a hike and you want reliable shoes as you walk up some of the way to the zipline. Restrooms--there are 2 porta potties in the parking lot. Eh, somewhat clean. And if you're a beer drinker, they have a beer garden that you can visit before/after your ziplining experience.
