We had fish and chips and a lobster roll. Both were excellent. The potato salad really stood out with red potatoes, fresh dill and scallion, not too much mayo and perfect balance of acidity. The lobster roll was perfect, portion on the small side but flavors were terrific and the bun was correctly toasted in butter, again perfect mix of not too much mayo and some brightness that came i assume from a squeeze of lemon? Beer battered fish was expertly cooked, nice crunch to the batter and a solid portion. Could have used a lemon slice on the side, didn't think to ask but I'm sure they would have provided one. The views are gorgeous, the dining room itself is really nice, the location is beautiful. We'll surely be adding it to our regular rotation when visiting. Cannot comment too much on the service as they were in take-out mode when we went, and they have since added table service.

A great restaurant restaurant with nice staff and a really nice view of the West point sea scape. Good selection of meals and drinks. Overall great experience eating there.

Google
Amazing location and great service and staff...pricing is good and the chowder was the bomb....and the biscuit they gave us was the best I have ever had. We had the scallop linguine which the scallops were sweet and perfectly cooked but the pasta was overdone and watery. Go for the chowder and not a diappointment

Had the most FABULOUS fish and chips. It was cooked to a perfect golden brown. The fries were by far the best I’ve ever eaten!! Whoever fried that fish was a trained expert in frying fish! I cannot recommend it enough!

A bit on the pricey side compared to other restaurants in the island but is very tasty. Also has some unique offerings in their menu such as the lobster crepe and thei escargot and oysters were great too. View was beautiful.

We are so pleased that this restaurant is open again after a two year hiatus. We were a group of 8. Service was terrific. We were greeted and served promptly. We ordered steamed mussels which were plump and served in a delicious sauce. The seafood chowder was served in a large bowl full of flavorful seafood including lobster, mussels and shrimp. It was a meal in itself. Others had battered fish with either fries or a homemade amazing potato salad which I would have to say is the best on the island. The lobster roll was was very much enjoyed as were the chicken burgers. The lobster dinner was also enjoyed. Some enjoyed their meals with a side of beautifully prepared Caesar Salad. I started my meal with a Caesar, which was rimed with a tasty seasoning, served with pickled beans and a carrot. The surprise of just the right amount of horseradish made this a great beverage.

We were a bit disappointed. We have a party of 14, called in advance, that experience was a challenge. The restaurant was maybe at 20 percent capacity. The service was very slow. Food was overall 5/10. We were there for 2 hrs. A bit long. The kids should have been served first or apps and drinks out sooner. Was there 13 years ago and was a different experience this time. Love that you are open again.

Open for 2024 with a new format and menu. Large portions and good fries, but prices are very high for what you get. You order at the counter and wait for the food at a table. We had the place to ourselves. We had pulled chicken tacos (3 per serving, which was abundant), and they were ok, but not fantastic for the cost. Still, it's nice to be able to have a meal at beautiful North Cape.

Yelp
Great location, good food, excellent service!! There is a very good gift/souvenir shop downstairs with good selections. We had Lobster Dinners. The lobsters were fresh and large. The size of the sides were huge!! The servers were nice and friendly. Overall we loved the experience.

Yelp
Talk about a place thats off the beaten path, its literally at the end of the road in North Cape, PEI. There is not much else around to see or eat and we decided based on Fodors reviews to have lunch here, that and there were no other options. The menu is not that seafood extensive, my seafood chowder rich and good but not great but the disappointment was the lobster roll, it was at best only ok, a little too dry and the lobster seems not well prepared. Th small Cesar salad was good sized and had plenty of bacon bits and cheese but a bit too over dressed for my taste. The coleslaw was excellent and the highlight of an other wise only ok lunch. The service in our visit was excellent.

Yelp
I'm a sucker for lighthouses so our destination was actually North Cape Lighthouse but imagine our surprise when at the very tip of PEI we happened upon not only the lighthouse but also an interpretive center and a restaurant. We arrived on a rainy day but quickly hurried inside to stake claim to a table by a window that looked right at the lighthouse. From here we admired this lonely beacon on the edge of the sea and dined in an effort to shake the chills from the rain. My dining companion had the burger with a side Caesar which she reported was more than satisfactory and I opted for lighter fare with a Caesar salad with chicken. The chicken seemed precooked and packaged but was nonetheless tasty and the dressing on the salad was very tasty. We sipped our tea and admired the calm interior painted in tones of turquoise and commented that it would be a lovely spot to hold a wedding reception with ample opportunity to include the photographs and ocean in the backdrops of photos. Service was a bit slow but overall very friendly and attentive. Was the food amazing and drool worthy? No. Did it suit the purpose of allowing us to grab a bite to eat and warm up with some tea? Yes.

Yelp
The location is great. I was expecting a better seafood selection than what the menu offered. The lobster is pricey and the price is fixed (most sea food restaurants of the region have prices which vary with the market). Food is nothing extraordinary. Sides are just unfrozen veggies and standard potato salad, baked potato and rice unless you go for French fries but it's not really something you can fail at preparing. The service is good and quite fast. You definitely come here for the location, really nice view on the sea.

Yelp
If you go to Prince Edward Island, you HAVE to go to North Cape to see the lighthouse and to visit this restaurant. Not only does it overlook the sea, you get fabulous food and service. You will have to overlook all the flies outside. Order the Lightkeeper's Platter and share it with someone. I received a cup of clam chowder (a little watery, but tasted okay), 2 oysters on the half shell, veggies and a baked potato, 2 lbs of mussels, 1 lobster, 1 battered fish fillet, 4 battered shrimp, and 4 pan seared scallops on a bed of rice -- all this for $32! This was my favorite meal on the Island. I ended up taking some of it home because it was an insane amount of food and there's just no way one person could have eaten it all, but I ate more than what was good for me. Luckily, you can work off some of the calories by walking along the beach, which is just outside the restaurant.

Yelp
A great restaurant in a great location. I had the lightkeeper platter and i was stuffed. The food was tasty and the price was competitive with any other restaurants...
