Yelp
Shhhh. Don't tell anybody. This place has a secret that puts it on THE list. It's not a great standout for field mushroom risotto with white truffle foam and baby frisee reduction, but if you're getting back from the hill, frozen, wiped out, and so not ready to cook, you gotta call these guys. Total honesty, I've never eaten here. BUT I've had their food a zillion times in the form of their takeaway family meals and they are a bargain.
For around fourty bucks you get enough turkey to feed at least six people (although they say four) mashed tasters, gravy and a ton of other stuff. Plus you can order veggies and other sides. And you can get pie for desert. Pie. Hello? Pie. Awesome. You have to call after 5 I think, a they have a short window but get on the list and you won't regret it.
They have other things besides turkey, but honestly, weve only had that, but other peeps have tried the roasted beast and rave about it. It's kind of like one of those off menu things but it's not. We get it once or twice a week when the town gets crazy and we've got a house full of guests and it's so nice not to have to fight restaurant crowds and lines or supemarket gouging prices we just settle back after an awesome day of skiing or whatever, get a massage, or sit in the hot tub and gorge ourselves on awesome turkey made by the folks at Windy Ridge. Try them once and you will be hooked. Tell 'em Larry sent you. You won't get a discount but you will be in the club.
P.S. The Windy Ridge Bakery has the best croissants in 3 states. Get there early Cuz Larry takes 'em all if he can.
