This was a cute little place, we’re visiting from Arizona for the summer. The waiter was super kind and did his job well. The guy that brought our food out was also happy with a smile (his hair was in a ponytail with big earrings). Most the food was really good minus the meatloaf which tasted very “herby”, best way I can describe it hahah! Overall very nice experience and food came out fast! Very friendly staff.

If you have to charge 26$ for a pasta Just to stay open CLOSE You might as well close and I’m sorry but it’s not worth it food was gross. Got the green beans and beacon it was sour and not worth it And the pasta was not worth 26$ just go any where else.

Great local experience, the food is always consistent and so is the service. I love taking time to enjoy Sunday brunch or lunch any day of the week. Don’t forget to make a quick stop in at the bakery out back.

My husband and I just ate at Windy River Cafe. We mentioned we were on our honeymoon when we booked our reservation online. When we arrived they had set up a table for us with flowers and rose petals, it was so nice! Our server, Delilah was amazing! She took such good care of us. The manager, Kelly also took time to check on us and make sure everything was good. The food and service were both 10/10 and the atmosphere was so cute and fun. I got the eggplant Parmesan and it was incredible and my husband got the turkey bacon avacado and it was so good. And the fries were amazing. Would 100% visit again and would recommend to anyone!

Google
The brunch was phenomenal and service great. The decor is eclectic and fun. There is plenty of off street parking and I suspect being off the main street of Park City, less crowded than options closer to the ski resort.

Google
Fun place! Lots of outdoor seating, and I loved their menu. I had the meatloaf any my wife got the salmon. Definitely would come back! Service was great too😄

Google
Had lunch today at the windy ridge Cafe. Beautiful outside location with great service. The Reuben sandwich was amazing, as was the adult burger... We left nothing in the plate. The salads were well portioned, fresh with tasty dressings. The kids burger was dry, very dry. I made the mistake of not asking for it medium and got over well done... My son loved the fries, but left half the burger as it was overcooked. Lesson learned for next time. We finished the meal of with key lime pie which was well presented and delicious. We will return to try other menu items as everything looked delicious.

Google
This restaurants, a diamond in the rough even though it’s not located in the roof. The service was great. The reception was wonderful. Very clean restaurant. We went right for the main course. Chicken with fresh bread from the bakery and homemade turkey sausage gravy. Pastrami Reuben with thick pastrami. But the best part of the meal was the desserts from the bakery. Homemade apple pie and bread pudding made from a croissant! Prices are very reasonable and service was fantastic.

Yelp
Really loved this spot for lunch. It's a bit off the beaten path and it seems to be a local hangout, for the most part. I read a lot of Yelp reviews for local spots but this one stood out because they had comfort foods like corn chowder, and that felt right on a chilly late fall day. We got the corn chowder, mussels & clams, and the meatloaf. I also treated myself to an elderflower mule. The portion sizes are huge and I'm glad we split everything, but the meatloaf portion was so big, it was borderline unappetizing. However, it tasted very comforting although I'm almost certain the gravy comes from a packet. The corn chowder was comforting but very much on the sweet side. The broth for the mussels and clams was fantastic and I enjoyed dipping the crispy baguette into the broth. The mule was very tasty, highly recommend! Overall, great service, great food, great experience!

Yelp
Good goto place when needed. Food average. Off Main Street which is a good thing as parking is ez I'd say yay over meh but don't expect to be wowed

Barry K.

Yelp
Four of us for lunch as locals took us here. The food was very good as was the service. Their onion ring stack was impressive and very good. I especially liked their Cuban sandwich.

Gwenevere C.

Yelp
LOVE this place, wonderful outside sitting so perfect for the Spring - Fall days. I was not impressed by the French dip, but the fries were spectacular, and the hubby enjoyed his fish, so I definitely plan I giving this spot a few more tries regarding the menu.

Yelp
We have been wanting to try Windy Ridge cafe for a while. It is a unique, colorful, diner type restaurant. I had high expectations going in for the hot chocolate looking at all the previous pictures and was a little disappointed by it. It was decent but I had higher expectations from previous pictures/reviews. The shredded chicken Asian salad was good. I liked the dressing. The cucumbers seemed a little slimy in it. I was initially concerned about the chicken as it looked very bland however the dressing and salad made it better. I think if there was some citrus or crunch to the salad like wonton strips or mandarin oranges the salad would have been better. For the sandwich the fried egg was over cooked and the potatoes were under seasoned. The best thing about this restaurant was the onion ring tower. The batter was seasoned perfectly. The service was good.

DeAnna G.

Yelp
Absolutely love the patio eating area with all the planters of bright colored flowers! We ate dinner on the patio last night, and both ordered the fried chicken with buttermilk biscuit and gravy. We also had a side of the green beans with bacon. The fried chicken was delicious and plentiful! Nice crunchy coating and tender inside. The biscuit was my favorite, so delicious, not hard or cakie. However, I was disappointed in the green beans as they looked and tasted canned, the bacon was delicious and nice portions, but the vinegar was overwhelming so we barely ate them. We took home a slice of the snickers pie and we loved it, especially the peanuts that were on top! Overall delicious meal

Joe H.

Yelp
We went for an early dinner, the Greek salad with shrimp was delicious. The Brussel sprouts are a must! Service was excellent and we sat in the patio which was very pleasant!

Patti S.

Yelp
Food was really good and so was the Bloody Mary. The potatoes that came with my breakfast were different than I've had anywhere and I really liked them. Hostess was great and brought us more coffee when we asked. Our server was not the best. It is a cute place and we enjoyed sitting on the patio until it decided to rain then moved inside. Patio is a nice spot and would recommend it if the weather is nice.

Chelsea O.

Yelp
Such a cute spot in town! They have a great patio. The staff is super friendly. Everything we had was delicious and full of flavor. Highly recommend the Greek salad with shrimp. Perfect portion.

Mike G.

Yelp
Searching Yelp for a place for lunch and Windy Ridge Cafe came up. So glad it did! My wife had an open faced turkey sandwich and I had the turkey club. Super fresh tasty sourdough bread, mound of turkey, well cooked, crispy, tasty bacon. Mmm best thing I ate in 2 days in Park City. Followed up with great friendly service and a comfortable atmosphere. We'll be back for sure!

Roberta P.

Yelp
They used to be fantastic...their onion ring tower was amazing, their prices were great and their food was wonderful as well...we kind of quit going there as we had a couple of questionable experiences...but the last two times we went, the food was compromised, although the service was great. The most disappointing thing was the onion ring tower...it was horrible...frozen, prepackaged...not like the old homemade version. We had 3 people eating off it and all of us had just one and left the rest. The mushroom soup was pretty good but they really need to do some more work to get back to their former quality.

Jeffrey E.

Yelp
One of our favorite places for lunch. I think it's the best of the Bill White restaurants. I love their turkey plate with mashed potatoes and gravy and the meatloaf is great too. I usually get a cup of the corn chowder soup. The sandwiches are very good also.

Kim T.

Yelp
I was craving a Reuben and so we decided to head over to Windy Ridge to check it out since these were recommended on other reviews. I have to say it was a great sandwich really tasty topping with sour cream and lots of thousand island dressing. The outdoor patio is a great place to relax and enjoy a nice lunch alfresco. Service was also outstanding and note that there is a bakery directly behind this business that is also fantastic.

Vince S.

Yelp
Very quaint. Off the beaten track, but very cozy. Great place to bring the family or dine with friends or alone. The Blackened Chicken Fettucini Alfredo was amazing as was the Key Lime Pie with Sweet Whipped Cream. A definite stop on any trip to Park City.

Malone R.

Yelp
Wonderful brunch spot! The breakfast sandwich is wonderful. My partner got the mushroom soup, and I couldn't help but steal bites! The apple pie is to die for!

Laurie W.

Yelp
Food was very good. I had the turkey Reuben. Fantastic. They used real carved turkey, not lunch meat. Fresh made coleslaw. Husband had the egg, sausage and potato breakfast. All very fresh at reasonable prices. You won't be disappointed.

George G.

Yelp
We've enjoyed Windy Ridge Cafe many times over the years. Tonight was quite the opposite. One of my favorites is the hot turkey and mashed potato entree. Tonight it was far too much mashed and very stingy on the turkey. My wife's turkey reuben was ordered with sourdough bread but it came with rye anyway and the sweet potato fries were inedible. The waiter couldn't have cared less that we were there and the music was terrible. How could a great standby restaurant become so bad? We've crossed this one off our list of favorites.

Allison N.

Yelp
I used to go to Windy Ridge as a kid when they were located on the lake in the Deer Valley area where you were able to feed ducks their leftover bread. Their location has since changed but their delicious food has not! My husband and I came here ahead of our wedding for dinner one night and we had a lovely meal. The weather was perfect for outdoor seating. I ordered the horseradish crusted salmon which was sooo good. It wasn't really what I was expecting (there was tons of horseradish, so if that's not your thing, then skip!) but I really liked it. My husband ordered the Reuben sandwich and it was huge and delicious. Windy Ridge's bread is just as good as I remember it being! Cute spot that's full of nostalgia for me and can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Shhhh. Don't tell anybody. This place has a secret that puts it on THE list. It's not a great standout for field mushroom risotto with white truffle foam and baby frisee reduction, but if you're getting back from the hill, frozen, wiped out, and so not ready to cook, you gotta call these guys. Total honesty, I've never eaten here. BUT I've had their food a zillion times in the form of their takeaway family meals and they are a bargain. For around fourty bucks you get enough turkey to feed at least six people (although they say four) mashed tasters, gravy and a ton of other stuff. Plus you can order veggies and other sides. And you can get pie for desert. Pie. Hello? Pie. Awesome. You have to call after 5 I think, a they have a short window but get on the list and you won't regret it. They have other things besides turkey, but honestly, weve only had that, but other peeps have tried the roasted beast and rave about it. It's kind of like one of those off menu things but it's not. We get it once or twice a week when the town gets crazy and we've got a house full of guests and it's so nice not to have to fight restaurant crowds and lines or supemarket gouging prices we just settle back after an awesome day of skiing or whatever, get a massage, or sit in the hot tub and gorge ourselves on awesome turkey made by the folks at Windy Ridge. Try them once and you will be hooked. Tell 'em Larry sent you. You won't get a discount but you will be in the club. P.S. The Windy Ridge Bakery has the best croissants in 3 states. Get there early Cuz Larry takes 'em all if he can. . Thanks for reading.

Yelp
Cozy little, casual family cafe. Just stopped here to kill time and warm up in the freezing temps so we got soup and hot chocolate. The menu only lists hot chocolate under the kids section but we ordered it and the brought it in the cutest little mug with whipped cream and mini marshmallows on the side. Presentation 10/10, taste 5/10 lol. You can tell it's made with water and not milk because it tasted watered down. The soup also was ok but very watery, both kinds. Had the southwest corn chowder and the mushroom bisque but it was not thick at all like bisque. Good flavor though. The free bread was a surprise. The dip it came with tasted like rep pepper but it was cold which was weird. If it was hot it would of been 10x better. But it was free so no complaining. Good prices, nothing fancy,

Linda B.

Yelp
We went for taco Tuesday. It's a buffet style taco bar. So good and so much fun. We sat outside on the patio with our dog. It's was a great experience.

Autumn S.

Yelp
Food is delicious! We have also ordered the to go meals and they are also yummy. Only issue was our server did not listen when we said we have a food allergy. So when our food arrived we had to send one of our meals back to have it remade. Instead of taking both meals so we could eat together, one of us ate while the other waited.

Kris M.

Yelp
Came here for brunch and we really liked it! We ordered the vegetable quiche and the breakfast burrito. My wife said the quiche was good but the salad was heavily overdressed. My son and I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was one of the best I've had! We loved that it was smothered with cheese and had salsa verde on top. We also ordered the mimosas, and I probably wouldn't go down this route again. Would have preferred a classic mimosa, but that is more on me for not reading the mimosa description on the menu. Overall solid place, but there are tons of brunch spots in the area.

Brooke B.

Yelp
excellent french dip + fries - the au jus was so good that i drank it:'). we also got their onion rings and shrimp, both were great!

Anthony L.

Yelp
Excellent food, especially the onion rings, Brussel sprouts, and bread pudding. Patio was perfect for our dog.

Ashley D.

Yelp
Stopped in here after a long day in the mountains and really enjoyed the whole vibe and experience at windy ridge. The staff were so nice and the food was comfy- delicious goodness. My favorite was the mushroom soup!

Malvika T.

Yelp
This was a pleasant surprise, we just wanted to get takeout and get back to our hotel but this was such a cute place. Next time will definitely eat there. We had the goat cheese pizza and seafood pasta. Both were delicious, we would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Jim N.

Yelp
We went in at 5:30 pm on a weekday in June. It was not very crowded but began to fill as we are. We sat outside and the service was great. We had the tower of onion rings as a starter and they were hot and crispy. My wife loves hot Turkey sandwiches and she said hers was one of the best she has had and generous portions. I had the pork chop which was well seasoned and juicy. For dessert, we shared the key lime pie. All dishes were excellent and eating outside was delightful. We will be back.

Yelp
I made a reservation for us to celebrate my husband's birthday. The reservation even asked if we were celebrating something. When we got there it seemed like it was going to be very special. The hostess asked if it was mine or my husband's birthday and the server happened to have the same birthday. We had a nice meal (which is quite pricey here but we are ok with that). The Ruben sandwich was very good . My husband had the chicken and biscuits. The chicken was good but the biscuits were dry and there was not enough gravy. After we finished the server asked if we would like a birthday dessert. He went to ask his manager if he could give us a slice of apple pie. We thought this was very nice. However, it seems the manager told him no, because he came back saying he was going to figure something else out. He went into the kitchen and came back with a slice of dry bread with a candle. He was such a nice guy and I felt so bad for him . He looked very embarrassed that his manager had let him down like that. We told him it was fine. Not his fault at all. However, this was the weirdest and tackiest thing we have probably ever experienced at a restaurant. We sadly will not return here for a birthday dinner.

Brooke D.

Yelp
The salad was pretty decent. The service was a little slow. The older woman seating us seemed a little grouchy. Great outdoor patio but gross and uncomfortable chair cushions. Here's a picture of the kale salad.

Jen L.

Yelp
The food is amazing! The onion ring tower is our absolute favorite appetizer. The wonton salad with salmon is the best salad I've ever had at a restaurant. The staff is friendly, fabulous and go above and beyond to take care of their guests. You'll definitely want to come back again and again!

Anna H.

Yelp
Very fun ambiance. Love the lamps, pillows, and plateware. Our hot chocolates needed more sugar unfortunately. The stuffed French toast was deep fried, and there wasn't enough "stuff" in the middle for us. The potatoes and sausage patty were really yummy though! My sister liked the gluten free toast. The eggs Benedict and omelette were decent. It should be said though, that we are very particular about breakfast foods because it's our favorite meal! Overall we had a good time.

Rich B.

Yelp
Their meatloaf is very tasty and enough to share. I've never been disappointed in any of the meals I've eaten there. Service is always great and normally not overcrowded.

James M.

Yelp
Met up with an ex-coworker (a regular here) that appreciates the finer things in life. He specifically chose this (casual) Bill White establishment bc it offers free/easy parking in a private lot, a family-friendly environment, and can't forget the fantastic food & service. Our table ordered the following: BBQ Bacon Meatloaf, Baked Mac & Cheese, Southwest Salad, Chopped Salad +Shrimp, Cheese Pizza, local craft beer, +cpl other drinks to enhance the mood n get the convos flowing. The meatloaf (my dish) was so good that I couldn't resist asking for extra sauce to wolf down the final 25% in full Thanksgiving fashion. Thank you L+C! :)

Yelp
My family and I visiting for 2 days and were looking for a popular local restaurant to eat found this place with a 4-1/2 star rating. As we first walked in a young hostess greeted us. When we told her 8 people, she sighed and when she went into the kitchen, she yelled sorry guys we sat a table of 8. What a first impression?! We ignored it. But when our server came, we felt rushed when ordering so we knew what the hostess yelled was a preface of our dinner experience. We ignored it again. (In fairness I noticed 1 server handling the entire restaurant.). I had what looked like a piece of bread floating in my water. Had the server take it back, but never got my water back until I found a busser. I also asked for a glass of hot water. The busser dropped it on our table and I burned my hand. AGAIN I ignored it. The hostess was helping deliver food. I don't think she should have cause she kept throwing the food on our table. She kept kicking my chair. AGAIN I ignored it. THEN my food came. It was burned! The manager came and said it's 830pm, the oil is already dirty and told me I should just cut the chicken. I didn't know what that had to with anything. But cut it anyway.... It was RAW!!!! Disgusting!!! The dinner kept spiraling downwards, from them under cooking our burger RARE! And forgetting one of our entrees! Manager came over to make things better. Server came over and service got better. Honestly, I will never go back ever again! And if I do, I'll come at a time way before closing time.

Juliy M.

Yelp
I am a long time customer but it has been two years since i dined here. I ordered the greek salad. It was unappetizing to look at, and was worse to eat. Nothing was fresh. The menu said Kalamata olives , there were only green olives In the salad. The feta cheese was a sprinkle. Clearly, I haven't missed anything in the past two years. I certainly won't recommend this restaurant.

K B.

Yelp
The food was very "Bill White"- meaning average at best. Pretty sure the eggplant was the same that is served at Grappa (only less expensive). Service was very friendly and accommodating. I would go back for lunch (sandwiches were good) but not dinner.

April B.

Yelp
This place was recommended to us, so we stopped in. Food isn't bad, the sandwiches looked great. Everyone enjoyed the turkey club with fries. The Greek salad wasn't bad, nothing to write home about. I added chicken, and that's where I have to drop the rating. Chicken was absolutely cooked the day before, cold and super dry. I was offered a fresh piece, which came out after we were completely done with the meal. They did comp my salad and the chicken add on, so they did try to make up for the issue.

Christie B.

Yelp
Lunch was delicious. Meatloaf and mashed potatoes with gravy, enough to take home some for my son. The meatloaf was full of flavor, moist and with perfect spices. Definitely real potatoes too. My friend had the chili, which was also perfection.

Justin L.

Yelp
We eat at Windy Ridge a few times a year. Wile I normally get the Rubin, this time I got the BWF Steak and it was fantastic. They did a great job making their version of a cheese steak. It was awesome. The bread was nicely toasted and crisp while the steak was seasoned well/not too salty.

Mark S.

Yelp
This is our favorite place to eat when we're in town. Great food and service. No frills, peaceful and easy to get to. We've done lunches, dinners, and takeout - it's great every time.

Veta J.

Yelp
the food was so good i was sent the review of this place, as i am the designated yelp review friend. so, that should tell you something. "fantastic. food was great. service immaculate. wine 10/10."

Tena C.

Yelp
I've eaten here many times, and I'm not sure why I've waited so long to write a review. They are located in Park City and I tend to be with clients when I come here, but have also eaten on my own as well. They have a variety of menu items, but I've gravitated to the soups and sandwiches or salads mostly. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but their service is usually attentive and friendly and you will leave feeling full. For my latest visit, I ordered the turkey rueben sandwhich with sweet potato fries. The sandwich came on a specialty bread and was not soggy. The fries were not greasy or dry and tasted great. I liked the cheese on the sandwich as well as the sauerkraut. The parking is in the lot north of the building, and you can enter through the back door, or walk all the way around to the street side and enter the front door. They have outdoor seating on the patio in the summer, and cozy indoor seating in winter. They have concrete floors so it can get a bit noisy inside if they are busy.

Kathleen K.

Yelp
We look forward to visiting Wendy Ridge café when we are in Park city, Utah. A hot turkey sandwich, and apple pie are awesome! I wish I had the recipe!!

Kathy R.

Yelp
Really disappointed. Ordered a beer. Glass of wine and two bowls of soup. Corn chowder and chicken noodle. Soup came with both being corn chowder. One taken back and chicken noodle came out. Carrots and celery added when served as they were crunchy. Broth was out of a can or box. Corn chowder looked liked tomato soup with corn. Drinks came out after soup and after we asked for them. Great patio seating though. Don't go for food.

Megan Q.

Yelp
Honestly best breakfast we've had since moving to Utah last year! I got the breakfast burrito (holy flavor!) amazing tortilla, the salsa verde they use is phenomenal and the bacon/sausage/eggs were all so good! Husband got the Country breakfast & it was also amazing! Didn't need any sort of hot sauce or even salt & pepper due to the eggs being so good! Sourdough was awesome and he got the sausage which was also great! We had iced americanos & they even had almond milk which seems to be a rare find at restaurants! 10/10 recommend

David V.

Yelp
Lots of great options. Breakfast, sandwiches, soups, salads, and more. Come prepared to eat as the portions are generous. Yummy breakfast sandwich with a huge pile of crispy potatoes. I think we were the only table to not order a tower of onion rings and I wish we had. Tasty French dip. Very nice cup of cream of mushroom soup. Fresh side salad with a nice vinaigrette. Spotted the Mac and cheese at another table. It looked amazing.

Mimi K.

Yelp
Good food, but they couldn't get our orders right -- twice. We went there for lunch; I ordered the southwest salad with salmon, and my spouse ordered the Chinese wonton salad with chicken. What came out of the kitchen was a hodge-podge of the two. My salad had wontons on it instead of tortilla strips. It was served with the Chinese dressing, not the tomatillo dressing. And it had sliced mango and sesame seeds on it, which are Chinese salad ingredient. It did have the other Southwest salad ingredients, though. My spouse's salad had no cabbage. We sent them back, and they came out wrong again. We sent them back again, and they finally got it right. We had to be somewhere, so we had to eat fast.

Inga M.

Yelp
Took a moment to have coffee and a pastry with a friend - it's been forever - our conversation of the woes of life were brought to a dead stop by the absolute amazing awesome incalculably fantastic dessert we decided to share. Mid-sentence, we stopped to consider the awesome indulgence and sheer abundance of this life on earth that the croissant bread and butter pudding with cheesecake custard, butterscotch caramel sauce and candied pecans implied. Life was more than definitely a notch better with the discovery of this awesome treat. Just like the most priceless scenery, a photo could never do it justice. And the coffee was per great too.
