We only stayed one night at Wine & Books in Lisbon at the end of our trip, but wished we could have stayed longer! Overall, we were very impressed and loved our stay.
The hotel's location is in a great neighborhood with beautiful views. It is also close to restaurants, shops, and other amenities. Both the hotel and room were exceptionally clean and thoughtfully designed. The staff was excellent, and helped pre-check our bags early so we could sightsee. The bed was large and comfortable, the room lighting was perfect, and the bathroom was stunning. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant (Tasca da Memória) - both very solid. We booked massages at the spa, which was relaxing, followed by a stop at the Turkish bath, sauna, and contrast shower.
The only (minor) downsides were A) the rainfall shower, which was difficult to avoid spraying water everywhere, and B) the lack of counter/desk space in the room (could have used a console table or media bench under TV).
