Wine & Books Hotel is a beautiful and thoughtfully designed space that made my stay feel both luxurious and welcoming. The attention to detail in the rooms, the ambiance throughout the hotel, and the overall cleanliness truly exceeded my expectations. It’s a place that blends comfort and style effortlessly and the location is just as impressive. However, my experience at the restaurant did not reflect the same level of service. I encountered delays in receiving assistance, and when my food finally arrived, it was not quite what I ordered. While the staff were polite, the dining experience lacked the efficiency and care I experienced elsewhere in the hotel. That said, the hotel itself is absolutely worth a visit. I hope the restaurant service improves, as it would elevate an already wonderful stay into an exceptional one. I’d still recommend Wine & Books for anyone looking for a quiet, elegant, and well-curated hotel experience in the city.

This is a luxurious, intimate hotel tucked away from the busy city yet an easy home from which to navigate. The rooms are well appointed with soft linens and plenty of towels, robes, etc. The front desk staff and restaurant staff are attentive, friendly and efficient. Help with navigation, shipping, ATM locating and points of interest was all clear and easy to follow. The breakfast is delicious with a wide variety and excellent coffee service to your table. All the staff seem happy to be of assistance. Nearby sights are easy to find and avoid crowds. The city center is nearby either by public transit or car service.

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and thoughtful service that stays consistent throughout your stay. The staff go above and beyond in every interaction—always kind, attentive, and genuinely interested in making sure you feel welcome and cared for. Every little detail feels curated with comfort and elegance in mind, from the decor to the amenities. The hotel itself is beautifully designed—charming, intimate, and refined, striking that perfect balance between modern luxury and cozy warmth. It’s the kind of place where you can really relax and enjoy some peace away from the noise of the city. That said, the one small downside is its location. It’s not right in the heart of downtown Lisbon, so if you’re hoping to walk out and be immediately surrounded by shops and major landmarks, this might feel a little tucked away. But if you’re okay with a quick ride into the city center, the tranquility and high level of service more than make up for it. Overall, this hotel offered one of the best stays I’ve had in Lisbon. If you’re looking for a luxurious, peaceful, and well-run hotel with truly outstanding service, Wine & Books is a fantastic choice. I’d stay here again.

Our stay was so lovely! The hallways are decorated so nicely, and the beds are very comfortable. The rooms are a bit small, but still really nice overall. The breakfasts in the morning are delicious, and they even have gluten-free options. The spa is a bit small, and there isn’t really a place to relax, plus they only have one masseuse — but it was still enjoyable. The best part of our stay was one of the workers, Vincente. He was so funny, great to talk to, and he gave my boyfriend and me some extra nice things. He made sure we got everything we needed, and I would stay here again just because the service was so great! 10/10.

I usually am not much of a reviewer, but this time I felt as if I almost owed it to the staff here at Wine and Books for their excellent service. The hotel is built on both convenience and comfort, with very smart, modern rooms and a great atmosphere overall. Many small, nice gifts from the hotel and the bathrooms are very cozy and convenient. As for the staff, they are very passionate about their work and very accommodating by nature, not even out of a duty as an employee. I cannot forget Mr Fernando Tomas, from the front office, who was solving any problem I faced with full support at any time, making the stay very pleasant and easy. His colleague Mariana was always smiling and helping too, in addition to the wonderful restaurant staff, who all made the stay very warm and comfortable. Food was nice, maybe the location isn’t optimal as it’s not on a main road but it was still close enough to the metro. I really recommend visiting Lisbon, and Portugal. And if you are, to stay in this hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at Wines & Books Hotel in Lisbon! The place is absolutely beautiful—stylish, modern, and impeccably clean. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and professional service. The entire staff was attentive and welcoming, but I especially want to highlight Mr. Fernando and Adalberto who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Their kindness and professionalism truly stood out. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay in Lisbon!

The rooms are of excellent quality in terms of comfort, design, etc. However, be aware that not all rooms include the iconic glass-walled shower, which is something many guests might expect from the promotional photos. The spa area is quite small, and while it's a nice addition, it's not really a full wellness experience, and there’s no swimming pool, which might be a downside for some.
