Wine cellar Šipčanik, 13. Jul Plantaže

If you are on a cruise and are offered a tour to this winery it will not disappoint. Built in the side of a mountain which was an old military bunker / cave where they stored airplanes in the war. Now it is used as a wine cellar.

Tour guide was excellent - very knowledgeable, kind, and had excellent English. Wines were good as were the cheese pairings. Dress on the warner side, it was a bit chilly on in the vase area.

There are many wine tours a d good wine in Montenegro, but only ine that combined all together, wine, food, storytelling, history and architecture is Sipcanik.

My mom never had any "wine experience" untill I took her to Sipcanik! Not only this was her first encounter with a wine cellar but also she enjoyed wines very much. The wine cellar is amazing, wines astronomically good. You gave me amazing day - making happy not only me but also my mom ❤️ Special thanks to Luca, our guide. Energy And passion in the purest form. Despite the fact that we were a group of only two that showed up without an appointment, the tall brunette girl that made the tour for us was very welcoming and very professional giving us thorough information and answering all our questions with an smile.
