Getting there: A bit of a hastle. It's back behind other run-down stuff, so you need to pay close attention to your GPS.
Reservation/Checking In: The front desk person was super nice. We'd reserved adjoining rooms so that our 14-year old could have her own room while feeling safe. When we arrived, she told us that the reservation was a "request" not "guaranteed." This was not explained when we made the reservation. Front desk person ended up looking into other available room types and found us what we needed.
Breakfast: Don't expect much from the complementary breakfast. There are breakfast cereal options: cereal (cheerios, corn flakes, and raisin bran) juice, coffee (not good), and apples. You can also make yourself a waffle and there were some eggs and sausage (they were beige and unappetizing). I made the regrettable choice of oatmeal, thinking that this would be a safe gluten-free option. It was a sad semi-warm gluey bowl of oats that didn't improve with brown sugar.
Room: The rooms were pretty good sized and had TVs that we didn't use. Our room was very hot when we entered, so we had to open the window (in January). There were no USB ports, so be sure to bring your own. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms had everthing that you needed.
Amenities: We didn't use the pool or the other amenities. We also didn't use the complementary wifi, as our cellular coverage was better.
Smelly: The lobby, hallways, and rooms smelled musty. The hallways, near the elevators, had "fresh paint" signs, but that wasn't the smell. But the smell was more of a mildew combined with pot smell, rather than fresh paint.
We're not likely to stay there again if we ever return to the York area. We hope that there will be a better option (or we will drive to the next town).
