This Tranquil Florida State Park in the Keys Has White-sand Beaches, Crystal Waters, and Stargazing Under Dark Skies

"Reached by a short path from the Loggerhead Beach parking lot, this tranquil pocket brims with nectar-rich native plants and the flutter of Martial and Mallow scrub-hairstreaks, lyside sulphurs, malachites, and a variety of skippers—an easy, colorful detour from the beach." - Carrie Honaker Carrie Honaker Carrie Honaker is a Florida-based writer who has hauled oyster cages off the Forgotten Coast of Florida, made Guavaberry Liqueur with a 7th generation distiller on St. Maarten, and stomped cacao pods in Grenada. Google
Wings and Waves was an awesome experience. I didn’t make the reservation or look ahead of time, so I didn’t know what to expect — but just pulling up to the building was impressive. We brought two teenagers and an 11-year-old, and they all had a blast. The water slides are great for all ages as long as you meet the height requirements. I HIGHLY recommend renting a cabana if you have a group of people and you want some extra privacy and a comfortable place to store your belongings. If not, they also offer lockers, which work well for smaller groups. We went on a Sunday and it wasn’t too busy. As the day went on, the longest wait we had for a slide was about 20 minutes. If you head straight to the slides right when they open, there’s pretty much no line. Most slides require a tube except for one, and everything being indoors was a huge plus — especially with the awful weather lately. Overall, an awesome spot to spend the day, relax, and even celebrate a birthday. Highly recommend!

We visited this place with our family and booked online. The price was reasonable for spending 4 hours in a safe, enclosed space with the kids. All the water games were enjoyable, and the entry process was smooth. Seating areas were decent, and overall cleanliness around the facility was good. The staff, mostly young, were attentive and clearly focused on everyone's safety, which we truly appreciated. However, the bathrooms were disappointing — many of the showers were broken or lacked hot water, and the family restrooms had no shampoo at all and were not well maintained. Some areas of the facility feel outdated and could benefit from modernization. Additionally, the food options in the on-site restaurant were limited and could use more variety. Thank you for the experience!

Visited on a Saturday morning. The park was not over crowded, staff were excellent, facilities were very clean. There were plenty of chairs. The kids had a blast ages 1 to 7. Be warned the snack bar has unhealthy options that are poor quality so try and eat before you come. But the real downside is everybody trying to use the lockers and showers at the same time when the park closes. They were grown men and women undressing in the main common areas all together in front of children and teens. Lines to get into the family changing room were 30+ minutes. Huge safety concerns with the locker room area and changing room area. My granddaughters do not need to see naked, grown men. I hope the park does something to add additional space to the changing areas or tier the times people need to exit the waterpark. If I return, I will be getting my kids out early for safety.

Left much to be desired. What Wings & Waves delivers in amusement it lacks in hygiene, cleanliness, service and I’d imagine safety. Worst of all, though, is the cost. Despite the extended visit, the experience was overpriced. You’ll get access to: one wave pool (facing a giant projector tv), one toddler water playground with age appropriate fountains and slides, one medium sized swim pool with whirlpool (no lazy river), one (crowded) hot-tub, a pretty cool youth water playground with 3 age-appropriate slides, and about 4 different looong water slides that bop you around four stories above it all - for an extra fee. There’s also a pool store, cafe, and plastic “cabana” rentals for an extra fee (mind you everything is indoors, so it’s just a place to sit). The youth playground was certainly the highlight of our trip. We really enjoyed that. Sadly, I don’t see us coming back any time soon. Right off the bat - no hot water in the showers. (And I tried 4 different showers to be extra sure. My husband experienced the same.) in part because of this, no one rinses before getting in the pools. Pool grout is discolored from use. I saw detritus in the run-off drains. Hot tub water … looked questionable (brownish). In the locker room, a bench had been taken out and the holes simply left … didn’t seem like there was any plan to replace it or prevent injury. Not a single dispenser had soap in it. Not one. Despite the signs to “wash hands for 20 seconds.” And no hand sanitizer in sight. If I’d noticed one of these things in isolation I probably wouldn’t think much of it, but taken altogether, and in consideration of how much we paid, I suspect our money and time is better spent elsewhere.

Google
We had so much fun here with my family. The only thing I would recommend is eat before you go cause their food is terrible. But everyone was very nice and helpful. Also I would recommend buying tickets online before u plan to go being they only let so many people in each session.

Google
excellent showers, fun water slides and pools. there were literally no intertubes available to purchase despite so many lying around being unused and since 3/4 of the slides require an intertube we couldn't ride any of them. the food was abhorrently expensive (13.50 for a single hot dog!!!!) and the hot tub was COMPLETELY packed for the entire duration of the ticket. overall it's aite

Google
Absolutely awesome place to take the kids! The slides are crazy fun and the plane aspect of it is absolutely crazy! It's nuts a whole plane is actually up there! And you slide from inside it! I have contacts too so I'm only able to go down the slides that land flat, not into a pool. And all but 1 were this way so I actually got to enjoy myself!

Google
It looks like a cool water park when you first arrived, but I promise the management is terrible and will nickel-and-dime you for everything. In fact, they don't mention the fact that your ticket only includes a few activities for small kids despite them paying full price. You'll also need to pay $10 for a tube if you want your small kid to ride the main slides. Also, some slides were closed and there was blood all over the place because they fail to regulate the kiddie slides and will let huge dudes go down and injure themselves.

Yelp
This is a fun place to take your kids. It's a pretty big place right next to it there's a giant plane museum it's kind of expensive But I would spend my money on it giant wave pool with insane waves really cool waterslides There's a toilet bowl one too if you like those kind of slides Nicely pastel colored

Yelp
I'm writing this with a heavy heart after an incredibly disappointing experience today. My son is autistic and disabled, and we drove nearly two hours to visit your water park, something he was so excited about. When we arrived, we were told the park was at max capacity and he wouldn't be able to go in. The crowd was overwhelmingly abled, and there was no consideration or flexibility for families like ours. He was told to wait outside until the next session opened, which, for a child on the spectrum, is not only confusing but incredibly dysregulating. Families with disabled children often don't have the luxury of planning far in advance. Autism doesn't operate on a schedule, sometimes spontaneity and flexibility are what work best. I strongly urge you to consider implementing reserved spots or walk-in availability for individuals with disabilities. Accessibility isn't just about ramps and parking, it's about policies and compassion too. Today could have been a joyful memory for Hawk. Instead, we left heartbroken. Please do better.

Yelp
Very fun filled day with my family. The yellow tube slide ride was my favorite. Any time you go to a water park expect two things. Most of the staff will be young adults / teenagers. There are long lines to almost everything including the restroom. We chose the 10-2pm session bought our tickets in advance as the website suggested, capacity limits are set by the fire marshal. Water is warmer than any river, lake around here but do not expect it to be warm. Recommend to wear quick drying shirt's to avoid rash/scratches from the slides. The Milky Way cafe serves a 16 inch pizza for $34 at the time of this review 11/11/25. Good news like W.W. you can bring a cooler for the car or use their picnic table outside.

Yelp
Family Friendly | Unique waterpark | Unhelpful staff First time coming to have fun with my two kids: 11 month old and 7 yr old. We always drive pass it on the way to the beach, so we decided to check this place out! I'm glad we did, so next time we will be more prepared. Unique waterpark that is definitely family friendly. From my first visit, I observed they had these areas: a pool with jacuzzi, park and splash pad, toddler splash pad, big wave for the tube lounging, epic water tunnels, a restaurant, store/gear rental, and bathroom/shower/changing. Rental cabanas throughout. Things you should know before coming here is that they close for an hour at 2pm. They reopen at 3pm. I have no idea why, and even when I asked the staff their hours, they just said they reopen at 3. Speaking of staff, upon entering, there were about 5-7 young teenage looking folks behind the counter and NOT ONE greeted me. They all clumped together like it was a hang out time until I was at the counter looking to someone to help me get my ticket in. $40 per entry but babies (under 2) are free. This was it. She helped me with the transaction and didn't tell me anything else about this place, like where things are located. I'm assuming she thought this wasn't my first time visiting. I ended up asking people around me where to get the tubes and how much they were. Tube rentals are next to the front desk at the store. Someone told me they're about $7/$8. The pool looks nice and not too deep. A lot of families like to hang out here. Jacuzzi area is popular. They have a view of watching their kids play at the park area with the massive water dump. I liked this area. Lots of fun things to play with with splash pad. My daughter could spend hours here. There are a few smaller slides, which I think is perfect for the younger kids that aren't ready for the taller water tunnels (they look epic too)! You can reach those by using the stairs and starting at the top in the airplane! The giant wave area with the tv screen is nice. You can hang out and use the tubes there. A loud alarm will go off letting you know the wave is about to begin. Locker rentals available in the shower/restroom/changing area. Good-sized area with good bathrooms and showers. I didn't go to the restaurant upstairs, but I did notice that folks were ordering food from the cabanas. Overall: Super fun place that's worth checking out with the family. It's open year round. However, I would train the staff. It reminds me of young teens working at Sky Zone in Beaverton.

Yelp
There were 8 of us in our party, and we rented a first class cabana as we were celebrating my sons birthday. I'll start with the positives from our trip. Positives: -So much to do and I didn't feel like it was overcrowded -check in was a breeze -we had a slight issue with tubes (mentioned below), but management fixed it quickly -they had a drill during our trip and we had no idea until later (it all seemed really real)...I was impressed with staff and how they handled the incident -pizza was really good! -staff was pleasant and all very helpful Negatives: -our tubes were stolen several times...FROM INSIDE OUR CABANA! -cabana attendants were MIA. Had to go to the front desk to have them radio someone so we could order. Would've ordered a few additional things if they had come around to check on us. -water was a little cold. One of my boys had blue lips and was shivering the entire visit. Large bodies of water could've been a bit warmer. -4 hour time slot was nice, but none of us were quite ready to leave. All in all, we will definitely be back. I won't be renting the first class cabana again, but will definitely rent one of the smaller ones as we enjoyed getting away from hustle and bustle.

Yelp
This was my first time hear and their employees are GREAT at explain all of the rules. The pizza is great. At first the waterslides are imatating but once you do one you relize that they are super fun!!!! But their are a few problems I went hear and the wirlpool was crowded with children. The LOUD nosie when the waves are about to start in the wave pool seems scary if you are going down a slide because it makes you think that their is problem. But other then that a really fun spot for birthday party or just to have a fun time.

Yelp
I went with my family and we had a blast. It was very busy considering it was Saturday. Expect long lines on busy days but all the slides are so worth it. All of the staff I encountered were friendly and professional. It's been 10 years since I've been here and It was just as fun as I remembered. Overall a very positive experience

Yelp
Family bought 2 annual passes....except they aren't annual, they are only good for 3 months. Which is ridiculous for the cost of the pass, and not made clear when they were bought. Also, they have food you can order on a printed menu, but 1/2 the food they no longer make. However, they will charge and let you order it before they tell you that. The menu should be updated to reflect current selection so people don't get their hopes up.

Yelp
I've been a few times and loved it. I came for a field trip in middle school and had so much fun on the slides. I've gone in winter before and had so much fun. Sadly I don't have photos. I think it is worth the trip from Portland for some aquatic fun.

Yelp
Took my kid and his 3 friends for his birthday. We got Lincoln as our associate because we rented a cabana. He was wonderful. Showed us options for cabana locations. He checked on us for food purchases. Brought me ice for my water. Just an all around polite young man. The place was clean and had lots of staff available. Definitely a fun time.

Yelp
DON'T BOTHER WITH THE VR & GET INJURED HERE! I'd been wanting to go here since I saw a video for the VR slide about 6 yrs. ago. I finally made It last Sat., 5/17/2025 from San Francisco. Even had my bro. drive over from WA with his kids. It's not open every day and when it is, it's only open in 4 hr. blocks. We found one that worked and made it happen. I was super excited. Unfortunately, expectations not met in any way and our visit was a total bummer. We immediately ran up to the top to do the VR slide only to find out we had to grab tubes from the bottom. We sat in a short line that took at least 30 mins. to go down a slide so we could get back to the bottom. Total snail's pace and the slide hurt our backs as we went down. We walked to the front to grab our tubes only to find we had to walk back over to the slide's. Get the tubes, race back to the top of the slide, wait in line 20 mins., get to the front and get my VR Goggles on. About to take off and they break in half. This is apparently normal as it happened to my nephew, too. I feel the kid working there pull me back and do something to the goggles. He asks if I'm ready. I say yes. Am I going to flip at the bottom. He says no and pushes me off. Within seconds I go up the right side and flip hitting my head on the slide, hurting my foot, wrist, etc. I go down with the tube and goggles in my hand. Two workers see me come down and don't say a word. I get my bearings and go back to the top, limping, when I notice my foot is already black and blue, along with spots on my hand and leg. My head hurts and I decide I need ice. Not to try to go down the slide again. Sadly, I walk down trying to figure out what happened and it hits me that I must have been sitting on the inner tube and not inside it and the "kid" working there didn't notice. Instead, he pushed me and I ran straight up the side and got injured. I limped to the front asking for an incident report and ice. This "kid" didn't ask if I was ok or what I hurt. Just asked me to follow him to their first aid "kid". Cooper was sweet. Actually asked if I was alright, gave me some ice, but did no first aid. I'm not sure what his certifications are, but I have a feeling they are very limited. I called my husband, a Dr., over to assess me. Sweet Cooper gives me the incident report to sign. Nothing filled out but my name and address and points to where he's been told to have me sign. This was not an incident report rather a WAIVER of liability for the waterpark. Instead of checking one of their boxes relieving them of all accountability, I crossed that section out and wrote that I retain all my rights to contact them later regarding the need for x-rays, etc. I spent the next 2 hrs. sitting there with ice until it was time to take a shower in their moldy shower that didn't drain properly. I don't recommend showering there, nor spending money on the VR (my husband said the quality is trash) and certainly hope you don't get injured there. I saw grown high-school boys wrestling in the wave pool while the lifeguards turned their heads while I kept thinking one of them might accidentally drowned or hurt a smaller child. They have kids working there. Just be aware and watch your children.

Yelp
This place is fun for children, they have lots of slides, wave pool, pools and a hot tub. The issues I have is that the water did not look very clean and their is so much chlorine in the water. The ventilation system cannot keep up or does not work, it smells so bad inside it makes my eyes irritated and uncomfortable to breathe. More fresh air needs to be pumped in. I also got a rash after hanging out in the hot tub. The other thing that is unfortunate is people will vape in the showers and in the restrooms, again I understand this is not their fault but it is a problem. My family of 5 paid 170$ to get in, which is pretty pricey. They played a movie which is cool but then my kids did not play and just watched the movie. I personally want my kids to play, I didn't pay and drive 1 hr for them to watch a movie. Also the wave pool was not working which was a bummer, I feel they should have given a discount for that.

Yelp
Parking no longer costs money. Towels are $36 each, so bring your own unless you want to pay that. Locker prices have gone up a few dollars. The single person tubes are free, but the double tubes cost. You pay for a four hour slot, either morning or afternoon, and it's cheaper if you order through the website in advance rather than in person. They are closed from 2pm-3pm, but one of the employees told me that the cafe is open to the public at 2:30pm. I think the cafe has different items now, but I didn't eat there this time. The employees we interacted with were all friendly. The attractions are the same as when I last visited years ago, except now there is a VR slide too. I didn't see where this slide was so I didn't go down it. I recommend going when your child is a minimum of two years old because the youngest kid slides require the child to be at least age 2. There now doesn't seem to be a price difference depending on the child's height. Everyone has to pay to come in even if they aren't planning on using the water attractions.

Yelp
I had my son's 9th birthday party today at Wings & Waves, and although the actual water park was fun, I would NOT recommend hosting a birthday party at this venue! For the price we paid, it was NOT worth it! Their decoration rules were very stringent (couldn't have much) and you can not bring in a cake, nor do they offer cake! So your forced to buy multiple orders of their desserts, but your not allowed to light even ONE single candle (all of that even though we were in an enclosed space on the upper level.) The food didn't arrive when it was supposed to, and the event coordinator was no were to be found. Honestly, I was embarrassed that I didnt / couldn't have a cake and that I couldn't lite a candle. This venue could care less about your special celebration! They don't care about the details. They just want the money.

Yelp
My brother recommended me this water park on a day where the temperature reached 101 degrees. He told me some positive stuff about it. I was not disappointed. Four water slides all 5 stories tall. I went on Mach1 7 times, tail spin 6 times, nose dive 2 times. Not once did I not have fun. I would often make myself ruler straight and zip down orange at 30 mph, feeling the high rcf on the turns, having a blast in the process. I also liked how they put on dreamworld how to train your dragon for us to watch over the wave pool. Made for a much better experience than the wave pool at holiday world.

Amanda M.

Yelp
I have mixed feelings about this Waterpark. We've been a few times over the years, and it's enjoyable for the most part. They have 4 big slides, and the wait time is usually around 20-30 mins per slide. They have a small area for kids under 4, and they have a water playground area. They have tubes that you can rent for an additional fee and they have tubes for everyone to use. In recent years, they seem to be decreasing the amount of free tubes that they provide as a way to make more people feel the need to rent a tube. This year, they even had a separate line just to wait for a tube (before waiting in line for the slides). Keep in mind, 3 out of the 4 slides require a tube. The playground area is super slippery, and some of the adults in our group slipped and fell numerous times while following our 3 year old around on the structure. The playground also has a handful of steering wheels that make the water features go off, and all of the steering wheels were covered in black mold! When I realized that, I was ready to leave. Anyway, they have a pool and a wave pool. The wave pool is fun, but usually overcrowded. Tickets are about $30/person if you buy them online, and they do offer a veteran discount that they will credit back to your card when you check in and show your ID. Overall, we enjoy visiting this Waterpark when spring break is rainy. And I would be fine with 90% of the negatives that I mentioned in this post, but the black mold on the kid area was a huge no for me. I'm not sure if we will be back.

Yelp
So my kids and I took a drive to McMinville from Beaverton to chill out a bit. I was excited to get away a little bit and was trying to get psyked for the slides too...we got to the parking lot about 20 minutes before they opened @ 10 am. I checked their YELP page and saw that it said "closed". I was a little concerned. After a minute or two I called them. Of course they were open. It had that status because there were no more open spots for the morning session. It was a good thing that we did get there early. Twenty minutes later, kids (and their parents) started streaming in. We were able to get some chairs and get settled pretty easily. Now I know this place is mostly for the kids, but I was trying to be "a Roman" too. I got in the wave pool for a bit and then I did the Nose Dive a couple times. It was ok, but the kids actually had (as expected), way more fun. My daughter got bored about 2 hours in, but rode it out for another hour. My son said that he was having a reaction to the environment in the "Vortex"/Basketball area. We ended up leaving about an hour early. I think my kids might be past the "Water Park" age. Overall I will give it a 8/10. It was a little crowded and the wave pool sirens every 20 minutes was kind of annoying, but that might be because I am old. One thing to remember though...be sure and bring sandals/flip-flops for the locker room. The floors are kinda funky.

Yelp
We'd been here several times in the past and I had a better experience then. Also in the past, my wife was allowed to come in without a ticket, since she was there to keep an eye on the grandkids and wasn't using the waterpark to play and swim. Today the staff insisted she pay full price regardless; there was nothing on the website that indicated they had changed their policy, or we would have planned accordingly. Since we had made the 40-mile trip already, we were stuck with paying full admission. Also--our bad--we neglected to bring towels; they offered to sell us one towel for $36. Not wanting to be taken advantage of by such a ridiculous offer, I was forced to go to the local WalMart and pick up a few towels for $3 each. I complained to the manager, asking to have my wife's $33 refunded. She said if they had neglected to charge us in the past, it was their fault, but no refund. As for the $36 towel, she said it was priced on the website and didn't seem to think it extraordinary. When I asked for contact information for corporate offices or the owner, she refused, saying only that she was the manager. We won't be back.

Yelp
We used to really love coming to wings and waves, but going there today. They want to charge you extra for every little thing. Most of the chairs now are for rental and all of the double tubes. Not sure why they would need to add office additional costs when their ticket prices have gone up from $20 to 30 and you only get half a day so they're already taking in double Money than they were before Covid and I understand things have changed since Covid, but I find this ridiculous and we will not be driving an hour from the Portland area when we can go to great Wolf Lodge, at least you can stay all day! ! $40 for these chairs near the playground part! Only for the session which is 4 hours

Nicole D.

Yelp
We had so much fun here! The vortex pool, wave pool, and water slides were amazing. There's big windows to let the light in and it's nice and warm inside. The pizza was delicious. My only complaint was having to pay to rent an inner tube. That seems like it should be included.

Yelp
Super fun family place. It was nice and it was clean. Put make sure and bring your bank account with you. And make sure and eat before hand. Or have some treats I. The car cause the food is not great and super expensive .

Yelp
Have been coming here a long time it's a little expensive but always seemed to be worth it today sucked a little bit the hot tub was closed which is a big part of the reason that I came here. I asked if I could get some type of refund partial or anything they said no i told them ok I am going to write a review concerning this they really did not seem to care at all (ya ok we don't really care mind about that) it was there way or the highway as the employee told me we can only refund you if you leave...well I didn't think my 10 year old would be happy with that so we stayed... I bought some swim goggles "adult size" they said no refund or returns on that I figured there swim goggles adult size I'm sure they fit...not a fit they hurt my face because it's was more like a child size and I'm not a very big guy my motorcycle helmet is a size small. Moving forward I thought I'd ask can I return these they really don't fit adult...no sorry no returns...I guess they told me that before I bought them...ok so I gave them to some kid for free hey kid do you want some free swim goggles "yes no problem" "your welcome". Nearly $100 after 2 tickets a locker and some goggles I could have gotten a better value than today at a community pool by my house $5.00 swim as we were not using the slides here today. The things that stand out about today are no happy medium its stay or go home and the feeling of we don't care about customers feelings/needs and if we received a review that shows negative feedback we really don't mind that at all either another thing that I noticed is that they cut down the basketball hoops there gone now. No fried food in the cafeteria today things seem to be a little non operational there as well. They said there understaffed and that is why the hot tub is closed...but there is a lifeguard or 2 standing near it all day not to mention it is right where the big slide comes down to its end which is a monitored area. I noticed a guy with a 2 or 3 year old child here today in the pool the baby and father were playing with a small ball the size of a hacky sack the life guard told the man "you can't have that here" he made them stop immediately the atmosphere here sucked today in my opinion when I tried to wave at a worker repeatedly to ask her a question she just looked directly at me as if she was looking through me and walked away as if I were invisible. I am positive that she noticed me.

Melinda R.

Yelp
If I could give them a zero I would. The new owners are greedy as f*ck and so rude. They wouldn't allow us to use our vouchers there because they said they were given out by the previous owners. Like you bought the damn place, and kept the name. You are getting all there current customers. But yet you won't honor our vouchers? Cuz it would have costed you nearly nothing to keep a happy customer returning again and again. I'll spend my money somewhere else. Rude ass business!

Brian B.

Yelp
A couple years back my daughter and I went and the building was freezing but still open. We were turning blue and shaking so after only 30 to 45 minutes we had to leave or we would've probably gotten sick. The person told us that the heat was broken, but for some reason, they kept the building open, very dangerous. It's about a 45 minute drive for us to get there so we wasted time, gas, and the cost of the tickets. The old ownership at least gave us vouchers to come back at a different time for free. However, when we tried to go in September 2024, the person told us they didn't have to honor the vouchers and wouldn't even give us a discount to go. She was very rude and even hung up on me. Very unprofessional and dumb as they lost customers for life. I feel any company should at least offer a discount to keep future customers but maybe that's just me (and most successful businesses).

Yelp
Very small waterpark for what you pay for. There's only FOUR rides that you can go down. Orange (no need for a tube), yellow, blue, and green. Orange is the best as you go the fastest. Then green because you go around in circles. Yellow and blue were eh, really boring. Here's the most upsetting part of the place. You pay for the tickets, then you pay for the tubes that you sit in to go down the ride! It's about $5 for a single tube and $8 for a double tube (like if you and your friend sat in it together). If you don't pay, you have the option of waiting in line for the free tube (free tubes only come in singles, so if you want to ride with a friend, you're SoL). So after you wait in that line for your tube, THEN you can make your way up to wait in line for the actual ride. Then when you finish your ride, you have to give up your free tube and do it all over again. So there's a bunch of waiting unless you cough up the cash. I've never been to a place where the tubes are not simply provided at the designated ride. This place will try their very best to get all the $ from you. The only reason this is a 2 star and not a 1 is because the bathroom and lockers were relatively clean. Oh yeah you also have to pay for a locker to store your things (this is standard and falls in line with other water parks).

Yelp
Driving up to Waterpark is very impressive with the airplane perched on top of the building. Clean and spacious parking lot. Staff was very nice and excited to see us. We rented a cabana for 2 and a locker. Very organized. We also had the pizza lunch special. The pizza was very good. The size of the actual water park was rather small compared to other water parks we have been to. I really wanted a larger pool or lazy river to relax in or wade in. I tried out the wave pool. It was fun but so crowded and hard to wade in. The slides were fun but you have to pay extra for 2 of them. That doesn't leave much to do with the general admission. The waterpark kept us busy for only 2 hours including eating lunch and bathroom time.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our day at the Waterpark. We went during the morning session and were very impressed with how friendly all the employees were, and how clean everything was. Our little guy loved the kiddie area with the giant bucket dropping huge amounts of water as well as the variety of slides available for kids. We also had lunch at the Cafe. Prices were quite reasonable and there was a pretty good if basic selection. I had a salad that was nice and fresh and my family all had pizza which they said was tasty. As someone with food allergies I appreciated that the menu was clearly marked for the most part about ingredients with the exception of the salad dressing which no one could tell me what was in it so I didn't want to risk using it. And honestly that's my only critique. I wish the employee had a resource to tell me about the dressing, but she just shrugged and said she had no clue. Other than that though, things were great. We rented an innertube and purchase goggles from the store which again were well priced and the staff was friendly. The women's changing area was very clean and it was easy to get showered and changed with lots of room. There are also lots of lockers although we didn't use any this visit. Overall it was a lovely experience and I highly recommend it!

Yelp
Traveled down here from Portland with my son. After sitting in line, I'm told they are "at capacity" and turn me away. My son stood there looking at the slides and then gets turned away; tears welling up in his eyes. For real, F this place. Put a sign up outside or something. Don't make a kid stand there and get excited and then deny him entrance. The hell is wrong with you. I will make sure my network knows to stay away.

Yelp
Visited for the first time with my husband, 11 year old daughter, and 7 year old son. We were let in right at opening, and we were greeted by many employees including Santa Claus and promptly checked in by a friendly young employee who helpfully told us everything we should know as first-timers. The employees inside of the small store that sells and rents equipment were also friendly and helped us pick the right locker size for our stuff. The lifeguards seemed to understand how important their job is, and they were VERY vigilant. I was impressed by all of the effort that was put into keeping this water park safe. As a mom, all of the safety precautions made my time much more relaxing than at some other water parks. And I appreciated how clean it was! Both my kids had an absolute blast! They loved the wave pool, the water slides, and the whirlpool. I enjoyed the big hot tub as well.

Yelp
My kids had a lot of fun here. However, the kids section was a little dangerous with the plane slides with the propellers being really low that my son hit his head when he would slide and get up .. but other than that it was a great time ..

Yelp
Arrgg! We purchased our tickets online. I haven't been in a few years. They changed the policy for the tubes. They need to be rented to use in the wave pool. You'll need to wait in line to get the free tubes only for the rides. The chairs are really just for people's stuff. No place to sit if you're just there for kids. Just surprised by the extra charges.

Yelp
If I could give this place 0 stars I would! It's dirty, stairways up to the slides smell awful and have built up mildew/gunk. Our double tube that we paid for, got stolen within 30 mins of being there. Management said to just not leave it laying around without a towel or something on it? Like excuse me?! How about make sure people don't fucking steal others tubes. We paid for a mezzanine cabana upstairs and our "server" never came back to the our food order. Like why the hell did I pay for a cabana just to not get service. This place is dirty and service is trash. We won't be back unless things improve.

Yelp
the attractions were very fun but the employees were very rude Like we were waiting for like two hours and we didn't even get a pizza and then we ordered chicken wings and they didn't cook it

Yelp
It was really hard for us to come up with things to do with our kids during our Christmas trip to Oregon. Thankfully, we came across Wings & Waves and saw that they offered a great Groupon and 50% for active duty service members. Wings & Waves reminds me of a smaller Great Wolf Lodge without the lodging. The check-in process was easy, there was a specific line we went to for our mobile tickets/Groupon offer redemption. There wasn't any reception in the building, so we weren't able to pull up our Groupon tickets, but thankfully they were able to look us up in their system. Being that it was Christmas break, the Waterpark still wasn't overly crowded. There was a ton of tables/chairs to choose from. I'd say the most crowded area was the area with the basketball hoops and the jacuzzi. I ended up paying for a locker, but didn't really need it. Pros: - Food wasn't too expensive. - Drinks were refillable. - lots of parking - relatively warm inside, so it's the perfect spot to swim at in the winter - great deals on admission - cheap locker rentals Con: - there's a worker that is in charge of unlocking your locker, so you'll need to wait for them to access it. - longer lines for the slides Pro tip: they have one slide where you cannot have a rash guard on, so make sure you have a bathing suit top under your rash guard.

Yelp
SHAME on them for charging parents to sit and watch their children! I don't mind paying $39 for my great-niece to swim for 4 hours. But to charge me the same to sit in the cafe where I'd probably spend $40-50 there anyway. There was a grandparent just behind me who was very upset. The "supervisor" said it was because they lowered their capacity. you can still keep the capacity at 500 IN THE WATER area. Won't go back unIess they change this ridiculous rule. #Greedy#shameful#scam

Yelp
They charged us $116.97 for 2 seniors our 14 year old grandson. We only came so our grandson could play here. We just wanted to watch so we had to pay full price just to get in. This is a money grab as far as I'm concerned.

Yelp
So fun! Loved the entire experience. Highly recommend doing the VR and cabana rental. Staff are amazing and very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Considering it's Spring Break, their patience with everything and everyone is astounding.

Yelp
Super fun, cool theme, and a great time by all! Our annual trip was a bit worrisome this year. The night before we left town, We decided to checked their website to see there was some unplanned maintenance. The website was a bit confusing and vague so we decided we would drive the 4 hours anyways since they were closed and not taking calls. Thankfully when we got there we found everything was fine but the wave pool. It sounded like some broken glass made it into the pool and they had to shut it down in order to clean/remove the glass. We had purchased tickets via an online discount retailer so we're a bit worried. I got ahold of a manager, Trevor (I think), who really went above and beyond for our group. I was beyond impressed that he took such stellar care of us regarding the travel and situation. Totally reaffirmed this company and how good they take care of their customers.

Yelp
A pretty decent sized water park considering that it is entirely indoors. I'll start with the positives. Being indoors, you don't have to worry about the outside temperature/weather. The Aero-Space theme is extremely fun especially for kids. All 4 main slides are super fun and the fact that they all start in airplane is a nice touch. There's a kids play area with a few smaller slides that are perfect for smaller kids. And the waves in the wave pool is pretty frequent, so you never have to wait too long before the next round starts. Of note I really didn't try any of the food so I can't comment on that. Also I highly recommend getting your own tube (8$). For one it helps with Covid contact precautions as you're not forced to using communal slides but they also only have 10 free tubes per slide, so they go pretty quickly. The main negative I have are the covid restrictions, as there are basically none. The staff explain that masks are required when not in the water; however this rule is largely ignored by 70% or more of the guests. I'm not sure what the occupancy restriction is, but I definitely suspect that they are grossly over capacity. There are 4 main slides, so the lines for all of these are pretty extensive, making social distancing incredibly challenging while standing in an enclosed stairwell. The same thing goes for the wave pool, which is medium sized but definitely crowded. Keep in mind that the entire park is indoors, meaning air flow is also restricted. P.S. Get ready for some leg day, as you'll be climbing a ton of stairs.

Yelp
Our family visited the water park in September and we have a very bad experience. My son fell and hit his head, but no timely help was provided. I approached the employee, explained the situation and asked for ice. He replied wait and continued to fill out something of his own on paper. Then he slowly asked for ice over the walkie talkie and we waited 10-15 minutes for it to be brought to us.They did not provide timely assistance, they do not care what is happening there, and usually in such cases a special form is drawn up, but they did not fill out anything.

Yelp
Look, I love this place. I've been a few times. It's a wonderful year-round spot to treat your kids to. I'm even a fan of the Spruce Goose, have been since I was a kid. The last thing I want to do is blast this place in a public forum, and it's for the aforementioned reasons I'm not giving this a one-star review. We came here for my daughter's birthday party. I booked like fifteen people and a cabana. I misread the instructions I guess because I swore bringing in my daughter's birthday cake would be fine because the is the sort of place you'd bring your kids birthday party to if you wanted to see her happy more than you liked saving money. No. I was told at the gate NO food is allowed in. We were told we could have her cake outside in the picnic area but it was 40 degrees, raining, and with the sort of wind that shows even Thor himself was disappointed in this policy. Even the guy telling me this option had the look on his face and tone in his voice that he knew this was an insult of an offer. It's a child's birthday cake. It's not like I'm bringing in a big nail file for a jailbreak in one of those old-timey movies. But I'll say this, that's what it felt like. It made the whole place feel like a prison. Look, in the sane world most places know what a kids birthday party is like if you can't have cake and what they'll do is have a cake cutting fee because nobody wants a bunch of disappointed children and that's what we had here. A bunch of disappointment children. Yeah, sure, everyone had a good time because waterslides are awesome, but none of that can take away from my child's disappointment at her birthday party where she'd have to go eat her cake alone. I don't know what kind fascist dystopia this is but your cake policy is awful. It misses the point of the target audience entirely, and your job is to not make kids cry on their birthday. Now the last thing I want to see is some response from a manager about why policy is policy. The policy is wrong. A cake cutting fee is fair (so long as those prices aren't as insane as they are at your food court.) Denying a kids cake at a birthday party and making my kid cry, all so you can have a captive food audience over something you don't even offer as an option, that is not. Any excuse other than that is balderdash and a sales pitch for greedy policy. Full stop. And as long as I'm here, the food that is offered is overpriced for its quality. I've looked past it and ate there in my visits before but in light of this turn of events, I might as well point that out.

Yelp
This place did nothing but rob me of money and disappoint me. Arrived at opening to find that they were presold out of cabanas. Okay, not a big issue because it's indoors - wrong! There are about 50-100 random chairs throughout (think old plastic chairs) that you can sit in. Definitely not a place to leave your property. If you want a locker for your stuff that is another line and another fee. Next, I quickly learned that you have to purchase inner tubes to ride the slides (unless you wait at a slide and get one of the 10 that are communal property). There's another fee. There is an area for smaller kids to hang out which was nice. However there is no staff monitoring the area so old let kids are running through. The bigger slides are okay however a young girl got stuck in one while I was there. It's by no means a place to go sit and watch your kids run around. It's a place to hang out for an hour and water $100. I did give an extra star as the place was clean. Will I be back? No.

Yelp
They have ample parking and the facilities are well maintained. The staff was very friendly and checking in was simple and quick. We had pre-purchased out tickets and a cabana. There was some initial confusion about our cabana, but it was quickly corrected. They had a really good system for rentals and lockers and even offered a VR waterslide experience with different "themes". They have a cafe on-site as well and they offer food delivered to the cabanas. There was a huge variety of attractions to appeal to everyone. Some areas were targeted to 2-4 yr olds just wanting to get wet and splash around all the way up to the 4 to 5 story (I'm guessing) high waterslides that begin from inside a roof-mounted 747! The wave pool and swimming pool areas were very popular as well. Overall, a great visit. Fun for kids AND adults. Something for everyone. Definitely a stop we will make again when we are in the area!

Yelp
Super fun but insanely expensive for what you get. You will have to buy a locker for your car keys and what not.

Yelp
Just a really cheesy, massively over-guarded indoor park. I had my credit card in my pocket with a little cash to purchase food items for my kids. Went down a water slide (yep, that was my mistake). The card and money came out and I needed about 60 s to collect it from the bottom of the pool. Lifeguards completely freaked out, refused to help and would not allow me to swim for my stuff. An experienced ocean rescuer myself, I eventually ignored their whistles and collected my stuff, quickly exiting the pool. A little woman with whistle and a waves polo shirt ran over, began yelling at me, etc, etc. The opposite of how an amusement park should handle a Dad losing his money. They embarrassed me and my kids. For the record, I don't drink and I didn't yell back. I didn't even raise my voice. They're just totally incompetent people and management. Don't waste your money.

Yelp
I took a car full of kids here to try to kick the cabin fever and it was a success! It's about an hour outside of Portland and totally worth it. The facility looked small from outside but they have a good amount of stuff inside. They have several different options for day passes, $10 dry pass, $29 for over 42 inches tall, and $20 for under 42 inches. They have lockers for between $5 & $7 depending on size. Your wristband gives you in/out privileges. They have a cafe but it's pretty spendy and can add up for a family. There is a regular pool, a hot tub, a wave pool, a splash pad type play area, and 4 slides. My kids LOVED the slides. There are 2 tube slides and 2 body slides. The downside to the slides is that they start at the roof of the building. You better be in pretty good shape because there are about 12 flights of stairs to the top of the building. If you do manage to get to the top a few times it will burn off your lunch from the cafe and count as cardio!

Yelp
We came here as a family about 3-4 months ago and I just remembered to write this review! Over all this place is great for kids. My husband and I didn't go into the water, we just watched our kid play! He had a blast. He wouldn't stop talking about it for days after! It's pretty clean and they do a good job at maintaining the place. The one and only downside which I can't even knock off a star for since you can't do anything about it is how strong the chlorine smell is. I got a headache within the first hour or so. Otherwise it's fantastic for the kiddos!

Lori B.

Yelp
It has so much to offer, but the water was so cold today, we just left. Pretty expensive to be that cold. They were missing food on their menu. Chili, French Fries... The elevator was broken down... It seems like a management issue maybe. The last time we came here it was 4+ Star. Cold water is hard to overlook. My Grandkids are part polar bear, so when they complained ...

Yelp
Was it wild and crazy? Sure. But the staff was knowledgeable and focused. The life guard staff was young but very professional. Indeed/ kids + water is filled with all kinds of dangers... but I felt confident in WW. The Cabana service was great! Heck-beer and pizza? What can go wrong?
