Wings Over Whales | Kaikoura Whale Watching

We had a wonderful experience, we loved every minute of our flight. Friendly staff, weather was perfect. We were lucky to spot a whale as soon as we were over the water. The pilot was very informative and gave us plenty of opportunity to take photos and videos. We had enough time to fly over the mountains. Beautiful scenery. Thank you for making our experience with you so enjoyable.

The flight was smooth, the staff are kind. They really know their whales and their behavior which ensured we spotted them. The weather was amazing, the mountains were spectacular, and the whales were magnificent. The trip made me feel like walking on air the rest of the afternoon.

Fantastic day for the morning flight. We saw a sperm whale and docens or even hundreds of dolphins. The pilot and team were very professional and made sure we enjoyed the experience from the first minute. They also picked me up from the harbour and took me back to town which I really appreciated as I my travelling schedule was tight. I definitely recommend :)

It was insane! We had the best weather, we saw a sperm whale, two many dolphins to count and a few seals (swimming through the ocean). It would have been worth it just for the view as well! Our guide Jo was amazing as well - she explained a lot about the whales and the area and was so lovely! Would definitely go it again!

Awesome tour on a beautiful day, was quite a special experience seeing whales from an aerial view compared to a boat that lets you see the entire size of a whale! Managed to spot sperm whale, dusky dolphins and also got a beautiful view of the Kaikoura peninsula and mountains. Thanks for the amazing experience!

Amazing trip. Sam our pilot was great. We saw 2 sperm whales. The trip was brilliant from start to finish. The briefing before had the right amount of humour and information. Would highly recommend

The flight was one of my highlights here in New Zealand. I never saw a whale before, so I was really happy that we spotted a sperm whale and then the female humpback with a calf. :D This day will be a great memory for the rest of my life.
