We recently had a team event for about 30 people at Winnies, and it was absolutely fantastic! From the very beginning, they were incredibly easy to work with and made the planning process stress-free. The team was proactive and planned ahead to ensure everything ran smoothly on the night. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was perfect for our group. A special shout-out to Glen and the staff for looking after us so well—they were attentive, friendly, and made sure everyone had a great time.

I had a great experience at Winnie Bagoes City! The pizza was delicious, with fresh ingredients and a perfect crust. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Highly recommend this place for tasty food and excellent service. Can’t wait to visit again!

I stopped by for late lunch for my birthday and was severd by the the nicest lady! I got a half and half with the butchers and sweet satay chicken which was amazing!!! And a recommend medium margarita and I'm glad I tried it, it was really good! The best pizza I've ever had can't recommend enough.

We had a lovely lunch at Winnie Bagoes with my work crew yesterday. It was a beautiful day, so we sat outside ... perfect spot to enjoy the sun and people watch. Service was excellent from the moment we arrived. Our server quickly put the umbrella up, took our drink orders, and was back in no time with them. He handled all our pizza questions like a pro — friendly, clear, and efficient. The pizzas were delicious (as always), and everything came out promptly. A relaxed, sunny lunch with great service and great food. Would definitely recommend for a casual group lunch in town.

I was really disappointed with how our reservation went. We made a reservation for 18:00 and received a confirmation email for the booking stating that the booking was made for us to enjoy our table from 18:00 to 19:30. Upon arrival, we were informed that there was another reservation made for our table for 19:00, and that they required us to return the table by 18:50 as they need time to clean and reset the table. Once we were at the table, we promptly decided our order and had to wait about 10 minutes to be able to put our order in. While service was quick (we were able to enjoy an entree and two pizzas with a side of fries), you could tell that quality was sacrificed in order to ensure that we were able to be out of the restaurant on their time. We felt rushed and it was not a very pleasant experience. Overall the service and attitude of the staff were below average and was not the standard that I had previously experienced at the restaurant. We would have loved to be able to enjoy a full meal and had planned to order a dessert each, but had to go elsewhere due to the time constraint. I would have understood the time limit if we had been a walk-in, but we specifically made a reservation to ensure that we could dine there. We both feel rather disappointed by the situation and would not go back. Definitely gone down hill since we lived in Christchurch.

We went to Winnie Bagoes last Saturday for a family dinner, but we were really disappointed with the food this time. We usually come here every week and have always enjoyed the food, so this was surprising. We ordered pizza, Cajun pasta, and drinks, and spent around $165.
