“The federal government provided over $17.4 million and the provincial government of Alberta committed $17.5 million for the $40-million-plus Day Lodge overhaul at WIN Sport”. For a public facility, the people there sure have a lot of private attitudes.
1. Food and tickets are way too expensive, they just want your money. $82 for a day, $30 for food and water. They used to have a microwave, now they don’t.
2. The staff there? A collection of the sickest people you will ever meet. Instructors insult the kids, managers insult their staff. And by the way, anyone who wants an apology from them, have EMS on stand by... because they are deadly allergic to apologies!!!
3. Washrooms and eating areas are always FILTHY, nobody maintains it. Is there a point in having a bathroom? No. In fact, they didn’t have to drain public resource of renovate the place. Put Porta-potties and a hot dog stand outside, you’re good to go! Albeit $10 hot dogs!
Don’t go to this place, just drive to Nakiska. Nakiska is a longer drive, but you avoid these sick minded people. It’s a shame, this place once a Canadian legacy is now being run by incompetent staff.
The fact they treat people so badly, is what makes me want to see this place close down. The sooner, the better.
EVERYONE LETS ALL BAND TOGETHER, STOP GOING, drain their cash and force them into bankruptcy.
