Winstrup Hostel

I could enter the hostel in the morning with the code that was sent to me and left my suitcase behind the reception. Even though there is no one to take care of it, I had the feeling that it should be safe (but can't be promised of course). When I came back in the evening, I could enter my room and the bathroom with the other codes. Everything was clean and I had a lot of privacy in the sleeping pod because of th curtains.

Everything was great, and thank you so much. Just a small suggestion: it would be better to have a pair of slippers for each bed. Having to call for everything was a bit inconvenient. But overall, the place was clean and tidy, and I really enjoyed my stay. If I visit this city again, this hostel will definitely be my first choice.

Recommended. It's a clean, convenient hostel with well-maintained kitchen, lounge, bathroom and dormitories. The staff is friendly and helpful and the priority is cleaning and organization of the space rather than manning a front desk. Guests use codes to access their spaces. I liked Lund so well that I stayed two extra weeks. When small issues arose the staff was responsive to remove a disruptive guest, reset wifi, etc. but mostly it was hastle-free.

I stayed a few nights in the women's dorm and really enjoyed my stay. The curtains in the sleeping pods really gave a nice amount of privacy. The bathroom facilities are very comfortable and clean, and having a kitchen that's free to use is also great. Self check-in and check-out was interesting, but I had no issues with it in the end. Above all the location was ideal, just a 5 minute walk to the train station and like a 3 minute walk to the cathedral! All in all a really great place to stay if you want to really get to know Lund. The reason I'm giving less than 5 stars is due to the wifi network being unreliable. Otherwise I can't complain!

I think this is a nice hostel. Its all automated. Room was nice and I appreciated the separation from rest of guests thanks to the curtain on bed. Showers and bathrooms were extremely clean. I was awake early because of some guests turning ligths on and being noisy in the room at sleeping time. But its the fault of unpolite people, not of hostel.

All good! It's clean, guests are very sociable and kind. The central position in extremely convenient, being close to all the important places in Lund. The kitchen is well equipped. Beds are confortable and the personal space in pods is enough.

Nice, fresh and cozy. Well located in the city center of Lund and easy to travel with the railway station just two minutes walk from the hostel. Really good accommodation for a conference with opportunities to cook together and spend time with each other in the kitchen areas.
